      What should we match this up with as a topper? I was thinking that after 48 hours that I would top it with TW seal and shine, but is there something similar that is better? I know TW seal and shine didn't have these gloss numbers. Is the gloss going to drop if I top this with S&S?

      Brian, You know all about C5's. Planning to use 3D One on a Uro-fiber 50/50 or Lake Country purple foamed wool pad to remove light swirls. Follow up with Xtreme Solutions LVR403 Foam Pad Polishing Glaze. Can I then top with TAC systems Shinee spray wax or Xtreme Solutions Poly-Seal for the ultimate gloss for car shows? Learning so much from you. Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas from Kansas.

Extreme solutions use this company the large manufacturer and some puris products. I assume they have them do custom formula or have additives to base materials

    There are so many options! Would love to see a video where you provide your first pick series of products from cleaning to base coat to ceramic to wax and topper. Especially first preference (or ties) for people without garages, as well as confirmation that the products are available. A few things seem to be out of stock on the xtreme site. I have a black lexus I plan to drive for 5 years, but no garage. I 'd love to really take my time one weekend soon and just spend a couple days doing a really thorough clean and then layer a few things. Plan to start with a good polish and decontamination and then ceramic base coat or two. Have the adams car wash, have the citrol and goof off pro. planning on a couple coats of clean and shine and then would like to do one more type of thing on top of that if it's advised, and then do the 'secret sauce' stack to finish, except the LVR367 magnum wax is out of stock, so was hoping to use their topper for that step instead. Just not sure if it will get the same results or if there is a different substitute. Have watched close to a dozen Apex videos, love how clear everything is, have learned a lot!

    How would a polish know if the paint is dark or light? Honest question considering you're correcting the clear coat. I watched a junkman video where he sorta laughs off polish for dark paint vs light paint

    • @taz4100
      @taz4100 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Tldr it cant. Sometimes more fillers are used for darker colors because it's easier to see fine scratches In dark paint. It sounds like a glaze. Fillers are a no no for experienced detailers. He's basically testing the fillers. A true compound, polish and wax would last way longer and probably look better. A glorified infomercial or product demonstration, Unfortunately Apex detail is selling out and becoming a paid influencer. This always happens when they get a large enough following. Dpc was the last one to go this way. I was suspect of his promotion of the xtreme solutions detailer spray. This just confirms it for me. Time for me to move on to newer smaller detailers and mostly sticking with independent reviews and testing from forums etc.

      @DG-tf5gr 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@taz4100 if someone is trying to sell me a product thats made for darker colors I think I'm calling BS on that one. The filler aspect makes sense but then again all it's doing is hiding rather than fixing which is fine if that's your goal.

    What type of protection is acrylic? Its an older term I have seen with Klasse products, but it isnt talked about much?

    • @donaldgreen9292

      acrylic is a type of paint like enamel. I don't believe it will provide a protection, but adds strength to the paint. Most products that have fillers in them fillers go away by first wash or rain, where as by the explanation of this product it is more of a permanent filler.

    What I noticed that it looks like you can cover a larger area than with other products. It seems like a great product. Can one cover a larger area at a time with this product when it comes to polishing with a polisher?
