I'll suggest you to add a lens from a virtual box. That might make the text more readable at close distance.
Optional suggestion:
Add 3 prices of black squires : on the front bottom and top section for daylight visibility. make the front plastic spring loaded so that the price stays on top initially, after pressing a button or something, make the black squire come down making the display visible at daytime.

This is great, but very difficult to understand what you say due to the high volume music. Especially hard for those who don't understand English very well (many foreign country users here..).
It would be GREAT if you could upload the audio again without any music.

Great video and hope you keep doing stuff like this. I tried the optics part of this with a TFT display I had. Why do we need the mirror ? Even with just a reflective surface angled at 45 degrees, I could see the screen. I dont see why the mirror is required.
Also, with the distance at which this would be from the eyes, it would not be a proper smart glass as we cannot focus on the horizon and the displayed stuff at the same time, our eyes would have to keep switching between the displayed content and the general environment.

Please for your next videos make no music for two reasons : the song is ugly, you will not find any song that all viewers like, and it covers your voice. Also the musicin general distracts the attention. It is like parasiting the brain for nothing and stays in the head after the video, destroying the mood.

You just have to connect them in the same Scl and Sdk of the arduino.
