    All the youtubers scream that JLCPCB is only $2, while completely disregarding the shipping costs. Thanks for being completely honest

      The shipping cost is extremely cheap 6 bucks for them to ship 30 boards to the US

      Shipping is a completely separate cost to product. The delivery company has to make money too. Considering it has to get on a plane and go normaly half way round the world how do you expect that to be free

    • @WW-jz8zd

      Shipping alone is $25 to Canada.

    You really need to slow down. I can't possibly keep up with you with all the mouse clicks and windows popping up. How do you delete a bad wire segment? I made a mistake while hand-drawing the ground wires to all the components. Now I just want to delete the bad wire without deleting all the wires I just placed.

    You are clearly an expert in this software, but before an expert can be a really good teacher, he has to "unlearn" his subject so that he can see the difficulties a novice will face when watching his lesson. In this case, (5:25) you were continuing to talk about what can be done, while the mouse flew around the screen too fast to track, and netports appeared and got relabeled. It took me quite a while to figure out how to do that, exacerbated by the fact that the "Wiring tools" and "Drawing" blocks that appear at the top right of your screen do not appear on my screen.
    For me, as a novice who downloaded the software only an hour ago, this tutorial would have been much better if you had slowed down a bit and described what you were doing instead of what can be done. For example, how did those wires appear at 5:27?
    I haven't got further than placing netports yet, so I may find other difficulties too (I haven't figured out how to label the schematic yet). Don't get the impression that your efforts are not appreciated - they are - but I feel that the video could have been _even_ better.

      This is a brief overview, not a step by step circuit design tutorial. There are plenty of those, and they are HOURS AND HOURS long, of watching a guy's computer screen while he does voice over. If you thought you would be planning anything on here, besides a very brief and basic overview, in just 15 min, you came to the wrong video

    • @DownhillAllTheWay
      @DownhillAllTheWay 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@littlejackalo5326 The "step by step" tutorial that you compare with would cover a lot more ground than this intro. I wasn't suggesting that he should cover more ground - only that he walk a little more slowly so that his viewer could follow what he was doing.

    Good video, especially like that you talked about shipping costs to different countries.
    IMO once shipping is included, jlpcb doesn't sound like the best option, especially in light of the trade practices of China and the IP issues ... if you are having a product fabricated and don't want to have to compete with clones of your product instantly.

    Why are the PCB's so cheap but the shipping is very expensive. They're PCB's, they don't need the luxery of my ballsack. Do I also have the option of NOT picking them up? Just make the PCB's 20 dollars and the shipping 2.50 or some shit, that makes more sense.
