I made a DIY Real life E.D.I.T.H Smart glasses from Spider-Man: Far from Home.
These DIY smart glasses superimpose a visual overlay into your view just like the EDITH Glasses. I'll show you how to make your own DIY Smart glasses using an ESP32 and an OLED display. As of now it can show a wide range of useful data like your whatsapp or calendar notifications. It has IoT enabled ESP32 which connects to the internet and displays time, weather and news data.

Where or how does one get those chips?
I did my project from Xiaomi Mi Band 3 as SMARTGLASSES.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has a specific build - doesn't have touchscreen but has touch panel separately.
When you fix it to glasses or to your head by band you have access to HR tracking from superficial temporal artery , GPS tracking and more...
My blueprints (3D print model) is on Turbo squid "Smart glasses Vitoculus from Xiaomi Mi Band3 3D"
Nice Project! Even I thought of using the Mi Band, but the display on it was not bright, so the reflection on the glass was very faint. Also how did you manage to navigate the menu?

Next time, use an oldsoldering iron instead of a dremel for more control of your corrections on the 3d print. Or collaborate with your local fablab if there is one in your reach.

what is the angle between the glass (not the lens) and the oled display? I mean the angle of incidence on the mirror?
The angle between the oled display and the mirror is 60 degrees( that is the angle of incidence).
