I have a lot of envy, but most of all I have resentment toward God, because He allowed certain things in my life that I wish He didn't allow, but here I am remembering those certain things that created a trauma. If only He could've allowed favorable things in my life.
I'm going through something like that right now. Though it sounds awful, the easiest thing to do is let it go. God sorts things out, if not in this life, then the next.
Oh. This is what I struggle with.

What are ways we can battle against The vice of Envy?
Spending a set time every day writing down the things you are grateful for, the blessings God has endowed you with, which is EVERYTHING. I am doing this too as this is my predominant fault.

Suggestion: Please, clarify when talking about one soul and two bodies that it is NOT meant to be taken literally. The reason behind my concern is that nowadays New Age practices are so spread, even inside the Chruch, that some people would think that you meant it literally; especially since you mentioned tradition. A helpful document with regards to Church's teaching about New Age seems to be: Jesus Christ the Bearer of the Water of Life (from Pontifical Council for Culture & Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue), although I should note that I did not read the whole thing. Plus, I can say with reasonable certainty that it does not encompass all the forbidden practices, reasons for avoidance, etc. because there are so many of them it would probably take books to do so. At least, it, hopefully, serves as a concrete guide with regard to such things.
