Lol @1:00:00, when the AI spawns almost a dozen new ConYards after you start attacking that left corner section of their base. Zero chance of winning when the AI can just summon ConYards like that. Good fight though Zoom, love your channel!
They are not summoned, they are actually built by the AI. Somehow they can build them. But important to mention is - they build stuff X times the amount of producing structure they have. So, if they would have 3 yard and you destroy one -> they will then build 2 new ones. And this extends further and further. If they have 20 and you destroy one -> they will build 19 new ones. Same goes for barracks, factories and helipads. BUT, they also have to pay everything they produce. Also the MCVs: If the enemy AI has got like 5 factories, it also builds 5 MCVs at once. Thats just crazy :D So a good way to deafeat such an enemy is - drain its ressources! (didn't finished the video yet, but I expect this is what he is going for.)
Ahh I do love the sound of thousands of riflemen being forced into a situation that leaves them with lifelong shell shock and PTSD. Great vid btw don’t blame you for giving up.
I still love the aesthetics and vibe of this game more than even more recent additions & similar-ish games. The only other game that gave me the same kind of feeling but in a different 3D setting was Earth 2150.
When I only got a CD with the game as a kid who didn't speak any good English and certainly didn't understand American accent, I couldn't figure out what to do with the MCV in the second mission of Nod. I was puzzled why this 'tank' doesn't shoot and is so slow :D
That felt like watching Krieg in 40K. I'm not sure what if anything you could have done different. Although I do wonder if you had set up in the center of your ring of birds if there would have been sufficient cover to make a FOB, I don't even know if you would have lasted this long without sending in a wave every so often, but it struck me that leaving one heavy group at the fringe, and inching forward with another might have helped hold your ground, I really don't know. You did a great job, thanks for showing this off!
It just seemed impossible to win with how many war factories they had no matter how hard you pound them they just seem to bounce so quickly lol, could Zoom have kept this up for 8 hrs lol who knows lol
so its has a 5x multiplyer for everyth8ing it builds around the first unit so if it deploys an mcv 4 more deploy out of thin air around it same for buildings ect ect so its not hard it cheats hard, making it impossible
commander im afriad due to the sheer size of your air support all future missions will no longer provide air support, since youve used the entire arsenal of air units here, so at 1 hour in when you attack with the titans, and it just spam makes mcv's deployed shows me that even if you bested it it then cheats to stop your advance and therefore is not a winnable scenario and therefore that ai is shit, cause it has to cheat to win
I will try to play again with a slightly different tactic. Until I get about 2000 bombers (no kidding) I will not attack any enemy structures. I noticed that the AI builds buildings only when I start destroying its other buildings. After I get an insane amount of bombers, I'll go on the attack. The Titans will slowly destroy the base, and the bombers will make sure to immediately destroy any unit that the AI builds.
the ai's build area will be the issue since it dosent have the same build area logic as the player i think its 2 maybe 3 x that so thats the issue gonna be a way point massacre at this point its 6 bombers per structure that isnt a mcv to kill on first run unless they have been nerfed, also wanmnted to ask was that nortmal tiberian sun im guessing this would be impossible on firestorm due to juggernaughts @@zoom3000
The defenses, the amount of factories barracks and ConYards are just too much. By the time you destroy one building it rebuilds two, and with infinite money the AI will never stop training new units that also destroy your units during the base defense, and will attack later, destroying all your buildings and units eventually.

Tib sun skermishes are just ww1 trench warfare
Exactly!

I had no idea you could send orcas on a loop to auto bomb any enemy they come across. Mind=Blown
Iknorite? All these years, and not once did I ever figure that out myself.
it was so powerful that by the time red alert 2 came out they completely excluded planes from waypoints
This is one of the best defense tactics out there in my opinion. I have been using it a lot lately.

I discovered it long time ago but yeah it is mindblowing. Very effective

Tberium gardens, base meat grinder, prizim towers and the start attack overwhelming numbers 6 AIs at the same time.
Thats just Insane its just raining Orca Bombers haha

maybe slowly push from ground with RPG and titans, takes extreme patience though
Why did you sell the war factory after 2 minutes?
money back
@@tomii1132_ while building 2 more? That doesn't make sense. Maybe it was accidental
@@gibbbo hover mlrs got bugged, wont leave the factory entrance
Any mods? AI uses many Construction yards and very many War Factories.
ill think if you build walls all over the base, he can not "build" there
Hmm good tactic, unless the AI will attack it

Sardaukars wins
The only way to win is not to fight
Why do you surrender? :(
Because he was losing ground with each attack. The AI beyond a certain point is just going to outproduce you.
