Gatlings were a surprise.
Well, Gatling tanks are cheaper, hence they have more hp and attack power...
Not so surprise that Prism tanks are the final bosses.
I would say the true bosses here were Masterminds with 91% survived
Did not expect the apocs to lose that one... And also slave miner still the tankiest unit in the game as always
I think he did attack move to the middle of the map; if he did attack move to the other side I'm not sure how it would turn out; of course they have their cammo removed so it's different
imagine wining against mighty apocalypse tanks but losing to gattling tanks... this shows how affectives units yuri has...
Rapid fire units that don't overkill do that
And to think, it was nowhere near as good a showing as they could have had, as they didn't get the opportunity to spin up properly...
It's about armor types. Mirage tanks have light armor, which is more vulnerable to stuff like Gattling bullets or deso bombs etc.
Though this does show how weak allies are against Yuri when their main lategame tank loses so easily to so many of Yuri's things. Even slave miners lol.
@@atifarshad7624 Mirages shred miners in an actual battle. All they have to do is stay out of their range. They're also faster. They also beat Masterminds. TBF Magnetrons are a problem for them, but they're also the best option because Magnetrons outrange everything the Allies have, but Mirages are fast enough to catch up. The main problem is when they get exposed by brutes touching them.
It's not Mirages' fault when:
- they need to put GGIs into their IFVs to deal with discs and quickly respond to them,
- their main artillery unit, despite being good at actually penetrating the base when Yuri has to be finished off and killing brutes, is slower and has less range than Yuri's although more effective against buildings (as well as being too useful to Yuri when put into a Tank Bunker),
- and their main powerhouse unit is also slow, so it can't respond quickly to the disc spam when used for AA, and has too short a range for buildings when filled with GIs. It's also too OP when Yuri mind controls one and puts 5 Yuri Clones in it. It can be used for killing brutes and baiting out vehicles if filled with snipers, but it'll still be yet another slow and very expensive vehicle that can be caught, and depending on the map, America or France's advantages could be too much to pass up.
Soviets just use flak tracks to overload Masterminds and have the rest destroy discs, while the Allies have to put GGIs into their IFVs to prevent them from being useless against discs, costing them extra money and micro. They also have the Iron Curtain, but the Allies don't have superweapons at all because then it becomes almost impossible for the Allies to stand up to Yuri's infinite money machine. If they're forced to only rely on slave miners, which are extremely slow and vulnerable to anything that can pierce their armor (Mirages, Tanya), or even kill the slaves (snipers, failing that Mirages, Prisms) their eco becomes far worse.
Slave miners are good fodders, but they're actually the miners that are the worst at their main function, making money (except through the mutator). It entirely hinges on fragile slaves. I saw plenty of games where the Allied player's economy is fine while the Yuri player ends up broke but wins because Magnetrons are OP, and even Mirages can't beat them, or the Allied player loses his focus at some point from juggling all the micro necessary to cripple Yuri, and the Yuri player comes back from the grave.
@@handanyldzhan9232 very good points. Yeah mags and discs are the main problems for allied players.
TANK DESTROYER 🗿🗿🗿
they're an embarrassment
true Tank destroyer, they made German Tank destroyer turn to be superfluous
If I remember correctly, Prisms deal full damage vs heavy armor just like Tank Destroyers do. Just better.
Yoooo why did the V3's do so well though😂😂
I was surprised by that
Yet a single mirage tank with good micro would have won on its own, in big battles where they just smash into each other aoe does really well
Nobody here but us trees
That was very fun to watch! Yeah, the mirage tank is a 'shotgun' archetype which is all DPS, no tank, which make it very strong against normal tanks (where armor, attack and cost are balanced) - but surprizingly weak against either weak but numerous opponents like Gattling tank, or equally weak but heavily armored opponents like war miners (barely won) and slave miners. Also, surprizingly, V3 delivered much more than a scratch (you can imagine that regular tanks will destroy V3's much more handily because they would receive much less damage).
I predicted every result except of the match against tank destroyers. For some reason I thought TD can one tap the mirage and it would be a massacre, but somehow they didn't which made it a very close battle, ultimately won because mirage have instant damage.
And yeah, I expected prisms to win, but I did not expected that one-sided.
@@sweetlane1813 V3s are good against massive enemy blobs. Just aim at the middle and a lot of them are gonna get hit without being able to get out of the way. It's just that they're extremely helpless against a few or scattered enemies that can freely move.
Prisms are very powerful against light vehicles in large-scale battles, even at the basic status. The base damage is 100, and there are 5 split beams with 30 base damage each, which makes 250 in total. The modifier against light armor is 75%, so the actual damage is 187. They shot every 100 frames. Mirages are considered great against almost all vehicles (and they are), but in terms of pure damage output, Prisms have them beat in large scale battles against light vehicles. 100 base damage/80 frames < 187/100. Even against heavy armor with a modifier of 50%, the maximum DPS is just as good as those of Mirages (though slightly worse in practice because there are corners and edges where there are fewer units to splash).
Tank destroyers aren't that good unless elite. They have to turn to shoot instead of rotating a turret, they're slow, their range is poor, and their armor is solid but nothing special. In multiplayer, it's known that Mirages crush Rhinos, and from OP's past tests, it can be seen that Tank Destroyers merely beat them but get worn down pretty badly in the process. So it was predictable.
Slave miner > Apocalypse and TD I guess
Nice balance
You can't bring an overprice slow fat ass mounted with a machine gun in battle 😂
yuri in the base game is very poorly balanced
Since they don't have turrets and have to pivot to shoot, I'd be curious if the results would be different with the mirage tanks motionless.
"tesla are soviet version of allied mirage tank" they say
No. Tesla deal more damage to infantry than Mirage, most of infantry units can't survive a single shot from Tesla, and elite Tesla have splash damage
Kinda, just bit faster and weaker armour...
@@inhduong3807 wait but the mirages oneshot most infantry
Lost to FF and radiation immune Demo Trucks, Masterminds, Slave Miners, Gatlings, and Prisms. Otherwise great performance even without being able to use their disguises.
I am pretty surprised they actually won against tank destroyers.
Even more surprised for Gatling Tank for me.
Yuri units are way OP
@@DarkOperationman gatling tanks kind makes sense when you think about it:
1- Mirage are light like paper.
2- gatlings are twice in number and has high attack speed.
@@DarkOperationman They won because their firepower increased every second they could shoot at the same target and survived, so they ended up shredding the Mirages.
Tank destroyers aren't even that good at killing tanks in practice. Sure, their firepower against vehicles is massive, but the speed and range are fairly poor until they become elite.
Slave miners are too bulky (although Mirages can easily beat them when both sides are controlled by humans).
Prisms just have too much range for them, and even with their damage penalty against vehicles, their DPS against light vehicles is actually higher taking splash damage into account. They manage to ward off armor that's barely better than theirs in 3 shots without allowing them to get in range. Even in a battle between human players, skilled guys know where Mirages are, and can just force-fire on them. The strength of Mirages isn't that they're overwhelming per se, but they force you to take extra actions to deal with them. In competitive, Prisms are rarely used against the Soviets because they lose to their desos and Rhino spam, with Mirages and BFs being used instead, but they're staples in Allied mirrors because they beat Mirages and are cheaper, simpler to use than BFs.
Masterminds are just too much for almost ANY other unit that can be mind controlled. Soviets can spam flak tracks to get them to overload. They're cheap so a lot of them can be built, and their ThreatPosed value is low, so they keep targeting the Masterminds instead of their mind-controlled comrades that don't attract enough AI attention to be shot at. I don't think they can be straight-up overpowered by a mind-controllable unit apart from maybe elite prisms in a very large scale battle (they crushed 1000 elite Apocs in an equal cost battle, and the Mastermind costs the same as an Apoc).
I was surprised that V3s actually put a fight
By the way, curious if you factor in when you say same cost that soviets get the industrial plant or do you go off of raw price?
So, only Gattling, Mastermind, Slave Miner and Prism Tanks can defeat Mirage tanks for the same cost. Yuri is so OP.
I want to see Veteran and elite promotion
Elite Mirages are bugged, so they can't use their elite weapons. I think they'll do amazingly if OP makes it work, but if unmodified, they'll do quite poorly against other elites.
is it me, or do the allies have the best-in-class everything?
Now try 300 mirages vs. one tesla tank behind a wall lol
Wait, where did Lasher tank go?
In realgame it is best
It become tree enemy cant see
God i miss the prisim tank!
Mirage tanks have no elite weapon. The code shows Westwood made a typo, so elite mirage only gets veterancy bonus. In comparison, normal tanks get 2 shots, Apocalypse tanks gets a new weapon with 4 shots instead of 2, Prisms get get range and can hit 6 targets, etc. Mirage Tank and Flaak Troopers both get no elite weapon. 😂😢😅
Make the same video but with mirages standing still and using their camouflage.
Only long ranged units would win and ONLY IF the opposition was manually controlled, otherwise attack move wouldn't work and none of the mirages would even die.
Stationary, mirages masses are a menace.
These are so interesting
Ugh, why did you take away their ability to cloak?! That's part of the cost, and since you took it away, you need to balance it out, meaning there should be more mirage tanks.
I assume promotions are turned off here?
No changes. They get promoted for kills
It takes longer to promote from green to veteran than from veteran to elite
@@inhduong3807no, it's all the same, iirc... 3x unit value from green to veteran, and 3x unit value from veteran to elite...
Little range, terrible reload speed, mostly useless veterancy upgrades. I'll take 2.
This needs a rerun with their stealth applying properly, think the results would be insane
@@simonn2045 It's kinda pointless to try it, because that feature is OP against the AI. Human players would have their units force fire at them, slowing them down, but it's complicated to simulate in this test.
little range?
mirage has more range than tesla coil!
@@happycompsognathus4411 Both have 7, which is pretty good considering the average tank has 5.75. Their reload speed is also decent. Useless veterancy upgrades, I'll give that.
@handanyldzhan9232 Vet upgrades is a bug in secondary weapon in the ini settings. 😅
