Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun is a real-time strategy video game developed by Westwood Studios and released in 1999. I love the aesthetic and the atmosphere of Tiberian Sun universe (in this game). Titans are awesome! Overwhelming, reminds me of mass produced Sherman tanks.
I always won back in the day with NOD on that tech tree setting. You're an absolute madlad with GDI. I'm playing this over with my old style in my head and you'd likely win 10 out of 10 times. Proving that GDI only needs a bit of uber micro to prove itself. I enjoyed this much more than many think. Absolutely insane.

Yea, i think ill start play with GDI more. Basicly NOD have better defence, thats y the most people play with nod online
@@zoom3000 Every faction have their own radical diferences and philosophies of war. GDI uses more conventional estrategies, relieing on air mobility, more armored units, and heavy firepower. NOD relies on the hi technologies, like the stealth tecnology, fastest and quick units, and obviously the use of mass destruction weapons like the multi missile, and chemical missiles. You can have one like your major favourite, but the two factions are fine to win if you are handly with its weapons, units and tactics.
@@zoom3000 I like more GDI, but I played the two Campaings, and NOD have several things I liked too. Like the Mobile Repair Vehicle, and the Subterranean APC can be a pain ass in the battlefiled. On Firestorm was nice the balance on the units made with the addition of the Juggernaut mobile artillery, and I liked the cool Mobile Stealth Generator. :-D

That what's make it better than Starcraft in my opinion.
There are hotkeys, though not for everything. Rebuild last option, place building, select all units of same time, deploy, stop, repair, sell and so on. . . Custom clients help in some degree with that.

I always used to make full walls and concrete to prevent the subterranean units nod had. I miss this game.
This is so much more entertaining than a SC2 match.

Both are very cool. In 21 days a custom campaign for SC2 will release, called ued first light, wich adds an entire new faction and campaign. The design and sounds of the new units heavily remind of c&c. Like a matured SC2.

Evil sir. You toyed with him the moment you got your Disruptors. 6 of them behind a few jet packs to take sam hits. Drop disruptors and its gg in the first 7 minutes. Thank you though, so many memories!
I think if the game is going to go this long its worth it to just get that Ion Cannon. He's leaning heavily on the EMP for defense, so killing it with the Ion right as you strike just ends the game.

Find it odd that axel1212 and fatslob get shamed for playing the same map, but counter-strike/COD/Battlefield people don't.
axel1212 sucks, plays 1 map, and loses to any 1-2 ref 100% of the time, rages and bans people....legendary indeed

Best game out of the C&Cs i think. I was in a clan called pvzzle and played against many strong opponents like stefor, dachziege, dachamp etc. I might have to reload this up and play again

he is just strong in the early game with less defence i guess. I just remember him as rush unit to destroy enemy Construction Yard as fast as possible
@@hendrik289 he s strong anytime ingame..but he must ve been nerfed in Firestorm..in the first Tiberian he could wipe your base all alone.
If they could make it the way Starcraft made Starcraft 2 like its still the same just better graphics... just sayin coz even now SC2 is dominating competitive RTS games
There is harass, long range weapons different tactics but I always felt GDI were strongest there's really not much NOD can do against mass titans or disrupters, awesome music in this game !!
I think like that:
for the average players - Nod will be the best becase it is easy to defend with them.
for the more advance players, you can use GDI if you know how to attack and be fast.
for more pro players, Nod again can be great choise because of mass bunshees, arts and stealth mainly.
but - for the omfg friking 20 years players who knows everything about this game, have a good speed, GDI is OP. Mass hover bunker will smash everything, while mass of orca bombers can destroy the enemy easy - GG
Yeah Nod were decent for mid tier players back in the day. I was usually around top 500, never much better than that.
Safer against noobs who might pull off a lucky rush if you’re not paying attention. I would just turtle up and the take out the key structures in one Banshee run. Simple yet effective
@@zoom3000 I always felt as though GDI were conceptually much better realised in TS. As in Westwood had a clear idea how they wanted each faction to play but GDI were a much better manifestation of that than Nod.
They dropped the ball with cyborgs (essentially vehicles who behave like infantry) who were cool in concept, bad in execution. If you could have upgraded cyborgs to have rockets or flamethrowers it would have been game changing. I guess that’s what the Reaper did in Firestorm.

Why can you still build tier 3 units after selling the tech center?
Tiberian Sun is different from other C&C games. You can sell the tech center for example, and still build tier 3 units.

When NOD is under the shield of invisibility why do not use attack through the "ctrl" key? Bomber will attack that point on the ground. If building is there - it will be destroyed. You learned all the locations already. No need to fly around, waiting for buildings to appear and wasting aircraft.
He does bomb them while they are invisible.
Him flying the planes around on the spot is waiting for them to get shot down so they do damage when falling

@@zoom3000 I kinda like it like that. The music was good in the games, but it beats hearing load and clear 100 times. It's nice changing things up, especially 1v1

What is latency mode?
Basically when the internet connection is slow (has long delay), then this latency mode will go to worst... It's basically the time (delay) between a click and the unit actually following through with that command. Worse means a larger delay.

Well, this map is not very balance, its not a mod map. BTW, he choose the map, and we didnt choose locations, so it was random.
Request for rematch and use NOD and see what he say when he loses

Hey, It was written cynically. Everyone who play for the last, I duuno, maybe 14-15 years knows that axel1212 plays every day in the same game, in the same map, but he still has a very hard time beating other players.

well played ! why is that guy legendary? 11 min into the game he doesnt have 1 artilery to counter your titans !.. dafaq :)) also late game the same art deployed but no tanks around it to def..all he did the entrire game is 10 banshee and 3 comando cyborgs.. in 5 min i m on top of your ore machines with my comando cyborg chewing their ass.. You harassed but in a bad way ..using so many bombers just to unstealth and hit a building or two..also loosing 6-7 titans for what at the begining?:) you dont go with titans and no disrupters m8 as those are the dmg dealers in GDI army//also NOD banshee is hell for tanks ..not having some anti air aswell as those hooverboards are the best anti air units in the game really makes me sad ..combined with the best air atack orca bombers .. you cannot attack as GDI and have no bobmers to destroy the artilery on your way :) not in this game.. bombers+ rest of the army is esential .. NOD sucks at being ofesive..but its great at holding the ground and defending positions.
hes legendary for being extremely shit, banning all good players from his games, and only playing that one horrible map and nothing else ever. I'm also fairly certain hes a convicted child rapist.
