This was so helpful! When i cut my fondant with the cookie cutter, it somehow always overlaps at the edges of the cookie 😢 it never looks this neat, do you have any advice on what is causing this and what to do different? Many thanks and keep up the great work! ❤

Often it happens as the fondant can stretch slightly when applying it to the cookie. Whenever that happens, trim off the excess fondant with a knife and then smooth the edge with the palm of your hand so that it sits flush against the edge of the cookie. Hope that helps and thanks for your kind comments ❤️

    Lovely cookies ❤
Can I mix ganache and fondant so it has a chocolate flavour?

I've actually never tried that. If you do, let me know how it works out. Normally I would just knead in some cocoa powder to my fondant until I get the desired flavour and colour.

How to prevent the fondant from drying hard on top of the sugar cookie?
I wouldn’t want to sell hard sugar cookies to customers ,
So how can I prevent it from drying too much?

Great question. Fondant doesn't dry as hard as royal icing, especially if you use marshmallow fondant. If you store the cookies in an airtight container and then bag them individually for sale, it will prevent them from drying out any further.
From my own experience through making marshmallow fondant for years, usually it will crust over on top enough that you can add details to it, such as using edible markers or painting on it but doesn't set rock hard. It will still have a nice softer bit in the middle. I hope that helps. The link for making marshmallow fondant is in the video description 🙂
