- We got invited to Global Time Attack Finals at Buttonwillow Raceway and what better way than to debute the first production 27Won W2 turbo. Tuned using Hondata FlashPro by the one and only Daniel B (PowerMetric for 10th gen owners) we were able to make great reliable power (stock motor) and stay within the rules. After reviewing the datalogs at the track we were able to fine tune the Hondata Traction Control settings and upload with ease.
We also put Torco USA latest transmission fluid called RTF-Light and it handled the abuse perfectly! Should be available soon, for those who occasionally race but still drive daily. Press Play and be sure to subscribe for more.

passing that type r was a epic moment!
It’s amazing what u have brought to the 1.5 non believers looks like a pretty solid motor to me.....
Thank you. Although the motor can produce more than anyone expected, you have to remember it’s a 1.5L and it’s not nearly as strong as some of the bigger motors like the K20.
What would happen if you get this turbo without a tune and just run like 91 fuel ?
We recommend to tune. To fine tune it to your set up of your car
How's the power band on that W2 ? Been waiting forever to see someone run one. Cant wait to see more! I figure itd be kinder to the clutch being bigger with later spool?
Me internally: "CHOP THAT R UP DAWG!"
lol
This is wild. I was literally going to run the same tire and rim combination before coming to this video.
Do it!
Nice upgrade performance on your SI and your track looked good. I wonder if your car has any issue overheating a like Type R in summer time? I like between Type R and SI but SI can be affordable. Keep it up and look forward to your next video!
I upgraded the radiator and added oil cooler on my 1.5 t SI
Intercooler is the best bet the oem one is azz. I got the intercooler and the catch can first thing.
Can you tell me all your motor mods? Please
that was a solid time for the first time doing this. maybe one day I can meet you at a track event. I was suppose to go to GTA finals but decided not to.
8:00 the tire temperature went up 8 psi...
Where did you get the rear honey comb vents at??
Custom. Get the honey comb and cut out stock ones;
@@thefoatmedia I see thank ya
@@thefoatmediayou put some kind of steel mesh? I bet doing this on street gives better highway mileage no?
Did you blow your original engine is why you went back to stock?? this setup your doing makes me want to do a stock bigger turbo setup. make it kinda a new sleeper lol.
No. Went back to stock because there’s really no point in having 2 cars built the same and wanted to focus all efforts on one car...but now that the other car is set up to only be a drag car and 27won came out with W2, we figured we’d modify it again...but keep it simple.
@@thefoatmedia ooo I didn't know you had 2 si. makes sense now.

Are you using the stock intercooler?
No. This one is 27Won.
What exhaust do you have ?
Stock.
What was your time on that last lap
22:43 Damn right! Lol
I got stock 2017 hacthback sport 2017 stock .. thinking on putting turbo on it can I run w2 no tracking anything just want to have little more power how It compares to w1 so I don't need tune to run it right
I just ordered a w2 turbo for my fk7 hatch. You gotta get it tuned. Wot on low boost won't be good for a stock tune or even just a basemap. I'm getting drama tuned.
@@suher1616 can you please give me an update how it performs for you and what else to I need to change in order to run this never mod a car before ...
@@letsplayblackops for sure you'll need fbo. Such as air intake, fmic and charge pipes, dp/fp, full exhaust at least 2.5" up to 3", hondata or ktuner, upgraded clutch, etc. I'm using hondata for the tuning process. Like I said, I'm fbo with flex fuel. Drama tuned messaged me and said I should be around the 300 mark. With my setup without the big turbo I think I'm at around 240 whp/280wtq and that's pretty much maxing out our little t25 turbo. I'm on a +6 basemap running e30-e40 blend right now.
Best to get the etune before hand if you can. It's worth spending the $200-$300 so nothing goes bad. I'd rather get it dyno tuned but the closest place thata reputable with Honda's is a 2 hour drive.
But I'll keep you updated.
@@suher1616 dramatuned is the best around Im tuned by him on my w1 on my si
@@Kaido1299 for sure. I was pushing over 300whp/TQ. Car was fast for a little 1.5t
What are your impressions on the Action Clutch?
So far the clutch is doing great! Especially in the day to day driving, still comfortable.
@@thefoatmedia is it the 6-puck ?
How much for that turbo?
22:42 LOOL
Is the w2 better than the w1?
yes its a larger turbo
It all depends what you’re trying to accomplish with the car. So far the W2 is great!
