Superb!!!ERIC GALE, RICHARD TEE, RALPH MAC, SADAO WATANABE, et alia...thank you for for sharing your great talent and wonderful music. You will live forever in our hearts. Thank you and thank you.
That was an incredible moment in Jazz! An all-star ensemble! I Enjoyed seeing Ralph McDonald, & Steve Gadd just chilling & doing their thing! Of course Sadao Watanabe stole the show!
Moi j'aime les jaunes comme sa(Plutôt Casse a Nice) le rendez vous musical il est la quelle saxophoniste sadao il est rentrée dans la légende Jazzzzzzzzz et quelle orchestre je me console j'en ai vue un
At 5:04 It looks as if the additional keyboardist is playing half of a Lyricon. Computone made a lyricon wind synth driver so I’m guessing that’s what it may be. Assuming he’s using the keyboard for the notes and the lyricon as a breath controller.
If you really are a seasoned jazz follower, you would'nt mistake Sadao's Horn, Eric Gale's lead guitar. You could tell if the sax you hear is blown by Turrentine or Coltrane. Man nothing truly stays unchanged like Jazz- Diphoko@ Pretoria
Holy crap..that's Will Lee on bass and the other guy was right..the one and only Steve Gadd on drums. This is essentially Stuff with Will Lee and whoever that japanese guy is. This was happening while america was enthralled with idiocy like Saturday night fever and happy days. wow
Apparently you are not a true Jazz fan or else you would have known who the Japanese guy is. Sadao Watanabe has been playing Jazz since the 60's and played along with the greats of this genre.
You do realize this is a jazz band, no dancers etc, you sit back and enjoy the music with no distractions.
Love the way it gets along ... from around the same era as Sadaos double live album Hows Everything ...one of my favourites of all time !

Steve Gadd's drumming is RESPONSIBLE. So impressive in this context of all these great players.
Precious piece- Some of my favorites all together. I could hardly recognize Steve Gadd. Beautiful upload- THANKS
