- One of the most bizarre looking vehicles to hit the burnout pad at summernats was this modified Landcruiser. while it looks like a long wheelbase FJ45 (or similar) the coil springs are a dead giveaway that there's been a fair amount of mods to this 4x4.
hey guys this is my mates car im the dude in the passenger seat it has a 350 in it running on lpg and a shit load of mods its normaly running HUGE tyres but for the burnout we thought it might be better to get dounts going with the smaller tyres . my mate is trying to sell it at the moment if any one is keen send me a message the car is located in NSW near richmond
widdle tiny tires are cute!
lol that looks funny with those small tires
@byrstooo it still is a 4x4, just doesnt have the front diff engaged
@lawndiggs thank you for the reply =)
@rallyausofficial The road tyres were just for the burnouts.
40/45 series on a 80 series chassis is a good setup
but way to kill the look of a landcruiser with the road tires
its doubtful an old girl like that would get 30 inch tyres to spin like that anyway. ive always wondered what it would be like if i put small tyres on my 80 series... this answers my question.
So much for the ozone!
correct me if im wrong. those guys use smaller tires to make it cheaper, right? :x
Gotta switch up the front end gears to match the rears, get all four smokin'.
How do u think that’s gonna wok
@@RICHYSUNCLE well, there's this drive theory, that states that 50/50 weight distribution, makes a car go faster. Idk. Draw your own results.
what engine do you have??
so when you cant go lower gears you go smaller tires?
why the tiny tires?
To keep it low, obviously...
@staubfc small wheels spin easy
why not
looks like nissan patrol diffs under it,,thats the only tough part on this thing hahahaha,,just kidding
zd30 patrol diff?
HAHAHA i love Australia!
