2000 FORD EXCURSION CUSTOM ROOF RACK INSTALL PT.2

I finally finish the roof rack and mount it up on the lifted excursion. It was a pretty good project to really give it an aggressive look and be functional as well. It was fun to modify and learn a few things along the way. I am starting my roof rack build based off your video. Do you remember what it was that goes between the rack and the top of the excursion?

Can you show us the rubber/plastic part you used under the metal studs that the screws went through?

Have some crossbars to line up to the existing long tracks and find the long M6 90mm screws to screw through...very solid way of doing it.

I am thinking about doing something similar. Is the wind noise really as bad as they say????

The way I did it, I hardly hear any wind noise...but I haven't really taken it out in the highway really. A simple wind deflector should take care of that.
