In France we will be allowed to ride again Monday and this video gives me so much motivation to be back on my back again and spend some solid hours on the saddle ! 😆 Thanks for this beautiful video 😊👍
Paul Maureille im french to ( bah du coup je parlais français 🤣) mais problème le covid-19 est toujours présent il faut pas l’oublier bonne reprise à toi du coup 👍
Thank you, Cameron, for sharing these 6 hours of peaceful and soulful riding through such a beautiful countryside . Tomorrow I'll do 3h on my roadbike and some 1h30" with my running shoes on to celebrate the regained freedom to train outside 🇮🇹 👏 👏
Sick video Cameron! Absolutely ASMR for me... looping this video for the rest of the evening :) I reckon you gonna be sponsored by travel agencies soon, showing the beauty of Scotland in a most appealing way. Impressive ride and stats! Keep riding, keep exploring and please keep sharing. Big thanks!
That rain must have felt like a peleton chasing you. But you've done it! Victory for Cameron Mason! Thanks for keeping me and the other followers motivated in the #ridesolo era :)
Fantastic video Cameron. Are you just using a phone camera or something more sophisticated? And how did you get the distance shot when you were coming down that hill/mountain. Editing skills are sick too.
It certainly looks epic. What a great day for it as well. The terrain looks quite challenging in places, do you think one could do the same ride on a Diverge? Also, if it is possible would you be any quicker yourself riding one of those? How long does your dad manage with you and when you part ways does he turn round and go back home or carry on riding solo. Keep up the great work, really inspirational stuff.
Yes, this would definitely be possible on a Diverge and I think if would be quicker overall because the route is 50/50 Road and off road. My dad joined me for about 40mins then he did his own ride closer to home.
I've done it twice, once on this mtb and once on a giant CX bike. I'd say it's always going to be a conprimise. On the flat and fast I would want a drop bar bike and on the steep downhills I was an mtb. I'd say a good in between is a drop bar bike with wide tyres and lots of gears.
Hi man, I have a question for you ❓ I would like to know how do you manage to ride without your glasses? Do you put on contact lenses? Thank you for your answer because I wear glasses and I would like to have some advice 😁 I'm not english and i used google translation 👌🏼
@@cameronmason Hi, sorry for the delay in my answer, I am myopic too but I have the impression that driving without a sight is dangerous? Maybe my myopia is stronger? But I don't know how to do it because I am currently wearing bicycle glasses with view inserts behind. But it is not very aesthetically beautiful and the glasses that accept it are very small .. Personally, I have Ekoi .. The second solution is contact lenses but I'm afraid that with mud it can be complicated right? Thanks to you. I hope you were able to understand my questions.
Yes, I do need to use my glasses to drive but I think it is a bit different with cycling. I have heard of other people using contact lenses and having no issues so maybe try that.
@@cameronmason Ok thank you, so I'm going to try contact lenses, I just hope to support them because I know that some people don't support them .. But did I have one last question? Even when mountain biking xc when I see badly during a race in the woods, personally it handicaps me a lot.
Haha, yeah probably not quite enough but if you start hydrated and then make sure you get ontop of it after then you can't put yourself in too bad of a situation in just 6hrs

Cameron Mason just wondering because your fast what is your FTP?
I have done any 20min efforts for a while but last time my calculated ftp was 305w
Cool currently as a 14 year old I have an ftp of 285 is that good?
That's really good! Made sure to work on all the other aspects of cycling though, power is definitely not everything!
So I should try to also improve on technique as well as power.

Bandit country for real! The forestry trails of Shotts and Fauldhouse usually require a police escort! 😂 Great video buddy

Cameron I prefer the s-works helmet is beautiful 👍
Love it Cameron keep it coming 👌
Awesome video Cam !! What mini pump did you use for that bike ride ?
Thanks 👍
It's a specialized one. Not sure of the model, sorry
3:28 trying to melt some hearts here, or what 😅? That much climbing would kill me, I think. 4200ft over 85 miles is the most I've done.
fab footage and so pro young man, keep up the entertainment
This was so good Cameron.
bro you like my favorite TH-camr because you are a boss at cycling! And entertaining content!

Looked like an epic day out on the bike!
Fantastic video Cameron. Are you just using a phone camera or something more sophisticated? And how did you get the distance shot when you were coming down that hill/mountain. Editing skills are sick too.
This was filmed on a gopro hero 6 and a hero 5 session

Managed 48 miles on my 48yr old legs today on my eMTB.

Sick video 👍
Yessss more Cameron content!!!!!
It was a good day for a ride!
Keep going what you love CAMERON! :D
btw. where did you keep this apple before eating XD
I think someone threw the apple at him and he catched it with his mouth around 12:57.
Or he kept it in his backback
@@PaulRiezebos Hah, funny answer xD
Good ride Cameron. What bike did you use and what tyres? Great video keep it up!
Thanks Jason. It's a specialized Epic ht with maxxis icon front and maxxis pace rear
Hi Cameron. Having done the dirty reiver yourself which bike would you recommend to use the CX bike or the MTB?

Looks butiful
Great vid Cam ,where did your Dad go?
He did his own shorter ride!
What is the meaning {bandit country } ?? It is dangerous??
👌😍
Can you please do a kit. Review
Do you use the wahoo element bolt? Is it good?
Yes, I also use the elemnt bolt, I highly recommend it
Hey Cameron You can make a recipe for how to make oats
Cameron did you try gravel bike?
Yeah, I've done gravel riding before
Nice men🚴♂️💨💪
That was a beautiful ride, loved the video ! Do you use Strava Route Builder to plan routes like this one ?
Thanks! Yeah, I use the route tool, not the premium one. Just the free version
Cameron Mason cool ! I just discovered how it works and it looks great, I’ll try it out soon
Cameron can you make more Cx videos
Gg you is a boss like pleas

@@cameronmason But I really wonder if if you have dust in your eye or a piece of mud, wouldn't it be dangerous or annoying?
How much calories do you eat per day ?
Lots, I'm not sure of an exact number. Enough not to loose or gain any weight
first boooiiieee
3 bottles in 6 hours... are you part camel?
Haha, yeah probably not quite enough but if you start hydrated and then make sure you get ontop of it after then you can't put yourself in too bad of a situation in just 6hrs
