The way this song feels exactly like the way the end of summer feels, is insane! It's how specific concepts exist in a language but can't be translated into another, this feeling cant be explained with words. It's just a night in early September, it's still pretty warm, but you might need to put a jacket on and the sea is still calm.

Koop is probably my favorite mysterious group of all time. They have (I believe) only 3 albums, 2 of which are timeless masterpieces: Waltz for Koop (2001), Koop Islands (2006). After releasing a greatest hits in 2007 called Coup De Grace (which translates to deathblow or mercy killing), along with one new track called Strange Love, they vanish, never to be heard from again.
While I'll always hope for new music from these guys, if they never return, I'll forever regard them as the duo who gifted us with 2 modern jazz classics. Almost 2 decades later, these albums have not aged one bit.

my parents loved this song, and i mean adored it. every car ride up until i was about 9 or 10 had this playing. they grew out of it and i forgot. a few weeks ago i was watching breaking bad with some friends and this song is faintly playing in the background of Elliott and Gretchen's party scene. i immediately recognized it. i played it on my phone when we went out for a smoke and i still knew it by heart, its one of my favorites

Me and my lover are high school sweet hearts, we’ve gone through the same schools but never crossed paths till our senior year. I used to work in New Orleans and loved playing this song on the jukebox while sipping a chilled bourbon and soda with extra lime. Now I live in AZ, but still play this on the jukebox when the mood fits. Except now I get laughed at - but usually just a glimmer glance shuts them up right away.
