    My Hero Academia is a manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. Volume 1 of the series introduces the world of My Hero Academia, where most of humanity has developed supernatural abilities known as "Quirks." The protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, is a young boy who dreams of becoming a hero despite the fact that he was born Quirkless. After meeting All Might, the greatest hero of all time, Izuku is given the chance to attend the prestigious U.A. High School for young heroes-in-training. My Hero Academia is known for its action-packed battles, well-developed characters, and themes of perseverance and heroism. The series has been well-received by both fans and critics, and has become one of the most popular manga series in recent years.
