  • Base editing is a type of gene editing that creates precise changes in a single DNA base, like changing the chemical letter from A to G or from C to T. These small changes can silence a disease-causing gene or help activate a specific gene. (This video was created in collaboration with students and instructors from the College of Art and Design at Lesley University.)
