I really enjoyed this presentation, Gloria, and wish I could do it all over again. I was guilty of lecturing instead of teaching when I was a health college professor prior to getting a grad degree in education. After getting the degree in ed and teaching a college course for someone on sabbatical, I had so many interactive projects that one student begged me to lecture! She hated working in groups! At that point, I was uncomfortable lecturing. Recently I tried to teach 4-5 graders and could have used more supportive relevant tools and activities with them.
