My husband n I played this last night but it had been quite awhile so we forgot most of it.. n of course instead of reading the rules, I asked him to find a TH-cam video for it (true it's not a lengthy nor complicated rule book but I always prefer a video instead). He listed off pple & when he came to ur name i said YES that one! Whether Learning for the 1st time OR a needed refresher ... your videos are the best 🎲 Thanks again!
Targi is definitely my favorite 2 player only game. I can't wait for the English version of the expansion to drop in North America this year, been waiting on that for years.
After watching this video.. Oh I'm definitely gonna get this game. Honestly at first it looked unimpressive (both the box n at the table) but i watched anyway cuz im quite interested in 2 player only games. Well, after watching your PlayThrough u've convinced me that there's some depth of strategy n fun. Thank you
It is a great one. Try it online at boardgamearena to get the feel of it. Also, they released a great expansion this year (saw the review, didn't play it yet).

Bought this game 6-9 months ago because of one of your lists or maybe someone elses lists on youtube, but mainly because I saw you had a teach. Finally watched this the other day to get comefortable with it so I could teach the gf. It went really well (even if our first game took about 2 hours). We liked this game a lot more than we thought. Great review, thanks. We play this game a lot and really like it. Regarding the Silversmith, Just yesterday I gained six points from it. I had the card that gave me an extra pepper if I collected pepper in the round. There were times when I couldn't do much with other cards so I invested in pepper and traded them for victory points. It was definitely worth while. BTW the BGG upgrade bits for this game are fantastic and add a lot the experience.
I just discovered this game not long ago and I love it. Curious to see if you guys will try out the expansion with the new water supply and sand dune cards. Crazy cheap on Miniature Market right now for $14!
Just bought this and not played yet. I wonder what you would think of 7 Wonders Duel. We've played it so many times. The expansions are good too. I'm hoping I like Targi as much.
Hi guys! Great video, i love the production quality of your videos :) i do have a rule question: should not the robber move to the next bordercard immediately after you paid for the raid? That would had an impact at you third raid :)
Yes, you are right. According to the rules (page 5): "Starting with the current starting player, each player decides whether to return victory points or goods back to the supply, or 1 gold in the case of the last raid card. Then the robber is immediately advanced onto the next border card and the players position their Targi figures in turn."
I’ve seen this game a lot. But I’ve never played it. I don’t own any two player games but have really good games that play well at two. Le Havre is one. It’s a great two player, but its heavy.
What is your favorite 2-player only strategy game?
This game. However, I am interested in trying Watergate. Have you played that yet?
If we count abstract strategy games it would be War Chest. Otherwise hmmm "small" Agricola but didnt play alot of pure 2p strategy.

This is one of my favorites. Such a good game. It has a great amount of strategy with a low rules overhead.

At 49:41 (what I imagine is the last round) you forgot to move the robber, so Naveen shouldn't take the Caravan action...
Tbf in terms of the rules mistake with the gold...it is in the goods deck, so it makes sense to think of it as a good.
