Love the sticker "My other ride is your mom" 😍🤩🤣🤣🤣
52x15 my knees are screaming (i live on a mountain). flat areas with a ratio like that sounds so nice
it does not sound nice on flat too. At cadence 85 it gives 24mph (38kmh) which way to much imho, especialy for the city.
@@liamkaloyit’s nice for tall guys like terry, for city commuters 49x16 give you chance to stop and skids are easier
@@solitudebychoice raio arroud 3 is OK for experienced and strong riders. Majority will do better on ratios arround 2.6. I don't remember if Terry is using ratio as high as 3 but definitely he is not using 3.5. This is simply way to much even for tall and strong riders to cruze arround NYC.
@@liamkaloy you right, I start with 48x18 and happy, it’s my ideal city ratio and i ride brakeless and it’s crucial when you ride brakeless and ratio too high
🚬👴🏻🥃 IN THE 1960s I MARCHED IN THE JOHN PHILIP SOUSA BAND 😁
The 52x15 now makes sense coming from Florida. Everybody from Florida overgears for the city lol. Keep riding well!
not me, i live on the atlantic side! right on the ocean so those onshore winds beat you down. 44x15 for this crybaby.
A solid setup with the freedom to personalize from the constant search for parts of any era , to the cool stickers collected along the way. But the stories get better as your journey thru life is recallected. The bike really can take you far!
Whats the average speed up keep when in the groove? Not pushing it just in that cruise pocket type of tempo, bike looks amazing!
Reel it in, boys.
she’s gorgeous!!! 🥹🫠
You’re not wrong, she looks great in red paint!
@@BuddhaSunn😂 LOL forreal
bet you'd like to sniff that saddle!
Bike looks Fire. That red totally pops.
Looks basically like a shitty fixed gear
You have such great personality.
Sheesh she is pretty.
Shout out from St. Petersburg. I ride daily on my tried and true, tough as nails, slow but reliable old Gary Fisher around town. Get's me over the bricks, storm grates, curbs, stairs, sand, everything! I wanna take it to NY and love these vids. I can't keep up with you but I know I'll see a lot more from a bike that any other way to get around. Ride on!
Shout out from Moscow!
Big ups Vladivostok.
Greetings to comrade from Magadan!
Damn a red soma looks nice that’s saddle tho
looks an awesome ride!
I love Soma bikes! I have two!
How come so many fixie riders do not use Quick Release, BB30 or Trhu axles,?
I am from St. Petersburg, Fl as well. Located in the downtown area.
Soma go brrr
You're very athletic and attractive. Nice NYC visit . I grew up at park slope/prospect park Brooklyn. After being Away from the city, i still remember the zip code, 11215. Great memories.
that bike is beautiful
I live in San Diego. Nothing is flat. Even when I ride the beach. From Oceanside to Encinitas. I ride a Marin Bobcat 5. I would ride during the lockdown. So fun. Good luck.
Sweet rig
Where it’s at
Her boots!! LOL!
Sick bike. You fixie riders are crazy though...in a good way 🤪
I haven't seen anyone ride a Somafab bicycle in forever
Much better!
Aiyana and her bike are beautiful ❤
Slammed stem and spacers???
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey where are the brakes?
sick bike ,dig them hubs ,,
52x15 that's power... I used to ride crits in that gear, down to 13 or 14 for the sprint... Florida's flat i guess, but nonetheless respect....
My second instinct was to attach some brakes to that bike.
A 52T crank with a 15T freewheel (ratio 3.4667) on 700C wheels is a very hard gear ratio! I would prefer to use a 46T crank and an 18T freewheel, but it is still very difficult. You need to have a strong leg.
Maybe pickle ball is more your thing
Then get stronger legs, hit the gym.
So nice
we got the same bar tape :)
Mr Terry B
How much does this bike weight? or should it weight approx
i dont think the wheelset is super light, so my guess is something around 9 kg ... 20 lbs
Probably 21 lbs or somewhere around there.
The frame and fork weigh 6 pounds. Chrome moly. In your browser type Soma bikes rush , rush is the model name of the bike. I can't remember exactly but I think the frame and fork cost about 499 or 599.
Nice bike and no brakes at all lol
Aiyana, you are soooo star, and i wach'd all videos but who is that Terry?
Beautiful 😻 respect 🤙🤙🤙
Yo baby ..dis ist mein homeys . . .
Reminds me of some Ed Wonka Ratios
St. Petersburg, Russia sends hello! Great bike.
52 x 15 is insane haha
we should get married
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
❤❤
Me: * *rolls up on my folding bike w/16" wheels, looking like a circus bear on a tricycle* * "Yo, nice ride. So uhhhh, wanna hang out? Dinner or .... ?"
Cool looker, though the stickers make it kilo more.
she's beautiful
there was a bike in this video?
Well played sir.
Quick note , previous comment was for Ayana. Take care.
Girls on Singlespeeds are badass. On another note, the geared bike industry is taking advantage of the dummies by charging $4000 for electric groups. My next bike is going to be a singlespeed.
different strokes for different folks, dont know why you would even compare the two
@@Krith220 Not comparing, just saying, who's got the money? Obviously not many judging by the bike market troubles. I'm sure a singlespeed is just as much if not more fun to ride than geared bikes. I watch videos of the singlespeed groups and they look like they are having more fun. I paid more than $11,000 for my current bike but I wouldn't do it again. I think I can get just as much pleasure and exercise with a singlespeed.
good luck climbing steep hills with your single speed buddy
@@kloukksays the guy that has to replace his derailleur hanger because your bike fell over 😂😂😂
Aiyana should pull up on a TCR.
❤❤❤❤
❤
SHE FIRE
I have a pair of riding shoes just like hers
She is cool
ok.
I bet she is faster than all the people with their 7K+ bikes....
Damn
nice. I am inspired that you are just running a real bike.
She looked like she was pushing a heavy ratio. I really want to try out something around 90" on fixed gear. Give me those gear inches!!!
I ride 86 inches (49x15) in the city. provides a nice cadence for descents and keeping up with traffic. climbs aren't bad either. Probably wouldn't go bigger than that unless I ran a front brake. skids are pretty difficult at that gear.
she's pretty.
how do you brake ?
Resist the revolution of the pedal is how fixed gear riders stop/slow down.
@@Fixed4Philly ok, thks !
She is gorgeous... Wow..
Dayyyumm! 91 gear inches? 🦾🦿💪
HOT bike!
❤😊🚴🇧🇷
She funny
My steel road bikes has a group set with a 53/39 crankset and a 10-speed cassette 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25. So my biggest gear is 53/12, and my lowest gear is 39/25. I have climbed most of the hills in my area and descended them at 50 mph.
Not to knock fixies, but with gears, you will go faster on the flats and descents. Plus, you will be able to climb the hills that you want to descend.
Note to self: go to St Petersburg FL to find a wife.
"I dont know anything about bikes, I just ride them" I'm certainly not watching this video
Right lmao by fast she means 15mph on the sidewalk. Attention hungry. “pRo MaX WhEeLs” cringe
Stay mad. 🤷
Riding decent bike with very decent components and not giving a shit what they are is kinda cool.
Girl is smoking hot as well.
✌🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷
idk anything... I just ride them!
No brakes?
Only!
You are obviously new to the channel
Привет из Санкт-Петербурга Россия.
Hola me encanto tu Bicicleta y tu Tambien nena, porque soy Ciclista de ruta.
It so beautiful girl, and so beautiful bike to
Very beautiful... bike
People's use to flex their car but now with this economy everyone is broke now we're flexing our bikes?
lol this bike prolly got more $ in it than most peoples cars
okay seriously where are the brakes?
probably a fixed gear bike. you stop the pedals from spinning, the wheel locks up. easy brake. horrible for your tyres tho
It's a fixed speed bike so you just push backwards on the pedals to skid and stop. Or slow down the pedaling.
Sexy bike, cool Aiyana! 🙃😉😁
Whats her Only Fans?
She has one?
„Pussy up“ and „my other ride is your mum“ was the only fan content for free already. Not more to expect.
Aye drop the @ .... for research 😂
Thirsty 😂
🥺 Can I be your ex?
Honestly really shocked to hear that 51x15 is considered a heavy ratio. In my country, most of the fixed gear people I know, including myself, all use ratios of 3.6 and above. I personally use 51x14 and it's actually considered light. My friends usually use 50x13 or 51x13. We all ride brakeless on the street as well and yes, we can skid and stop proficiently. My friends can actually long skid and fishtail on that ratio XD
She’s so bad 😍
Her treatment of pedestrians is rude, violent, and dangerous. Stop blowing red lights and yelling and pedestrians with the right of passage.
Who
52x15 fixed with no brakes, not even a front brake as backup, in a city, that's just stupid.
I love her 🤤😍😘
Who cares
OK so I'll be that guy... how hard would it be to add a front brake if not for your own security but rather for the many clueless pedestrians with earbuds, baby carriages, old people etc.? Oh, and I mess'd with a fixie for 7 years in DC, I but I grew up and put on a brake early after hitting a kid whose Dad nearly ate me for lunch... Eff around and find out...
dont be that guy, ever. You sound like a roadie that scolds everyone that doesn't ride exactly like they do.
they just slow you down
ideal , for not squishing somebody then @@AS-vq3ep
I don’t know anything about bikes I ride them because people give it to me like my Ex and other people …
yea the the vibe I got from this too
More of her and less of the bike please….. thank you!
Hahahaha she knows nothing about bikes? Why
