Ruben og Bobby 's Retro Arcade Barbershop may appear to be a place of fun and games. Yes, the place is packed full of 80's arcade games and pinball machines, but Retro Bobby is one heck of a seriously skilled barber too!
A barber shop with a retro toy slash gaming twist. Ruben Og Bobby has been at this location for three years.
Bobby says his customers are one-third nerd, one-third creative, and one-third normal! “They just think it’s really nice in some ways,” Bobby adds, “It’s just nice to be here. Like the atmosphere is chilled and fun you know.”
Conversations are often triggered by the collectibles that adorn the walls as Bobby explains. A Ninja or He-Man will spark a memory from your youth. The stories are shared.

it's a great video games/toy shop with a few arcade and pinball machines, and this is just one of the back rooms, that happen to also be a barbershop....
and you used to be able to play the NES while getting a haircut, and get a discount if you beat the highscore of whatever game was in the console at that time (and maybe you still can)...
Would be nice to have a little bonus interview where the barber can introduce themselves, their shop, where they are located and how long they've been there ect. Just a few minutes before the video maybe. I know you've done this in the past in previous videos. I understand, sometimes people may find the language a problem though or might not want to. Those that don't mind though, could be fun to get to know them briefly before the cut. Like in the route 66 barbershop video, that was awesome! Keep up the great work.

We've been experimenting with how we do the interviews and really like the conversational style of the barber showing us their shop. What fascinates me is that this barber expresses someone who has found his life calling and lived it to the best of his abilities better than the money-monger and prideful Wall Street bankers or corporate lawyers who brag about the money they make without having done this world any good. I love these kinds of videos, it makes me see the world from a humbling perspective.

How come? The only thing that he's doing is getting a haircut, I mean he's not even giving the haircut he's receiving it. Records it, and then puts it on TH-cam tell me what's so amazing about that, tell me where's the creativity in that.
You make reaching 1M subs sound like it's nothing.
He travels the world so his fans get to see new creative people not much do that for there fans.

My favorite barber so far. The set up was really quite superb. How he clearly delineated between the top and the sides. Almost like he was setting up a long chain of dominoes with the set up The great cut was setup by the combing and clipping at the beginning!
Harry, that’s the best cut ever. I haven’t seen a barber with the skill to texturize your hair by taking the scissors down so low on the hair shaft. 👍🏻
