In my opinion, this is your best video, Harry. The sound is perfect, the time is perfect, the place is perfect, and the hairdresser is a real caracter...
I see what he did there at 20:30. That's quite clever. He used the white powder as a marker of sorts so that he could evenly blend it as he goes, since as he travels upwards while cutting the white powder will disappear as the hair falls off with it. So he can use the powder as a guideline to make sure the whole thing is even, since he's only using scissors.

Have to admit I have been watching these videos of haircut Harry to fall asleep for a few years now and this one is like an old friend.
As a professional hairdresser who used to work in a very well known salon where we have shops all over the world I travelled to South Korea to learn the old school method and let’s say my customers love it. I now have my own hair salon where I specialise in men’s hair only and the business has simply grown from strength to strength since I started to use these methods.
Where in Korea did you learn? These old school joints are pretty rare in Seoul too these days.
Best barber I've ever seen and the part were he checked himself in the mirror. Pure attention to detail. Why I love the oriental focus very attentive...
I love when I get a quiet hairdresser and can just relax and enjoy the experience without having to talk the whole time. I loved how he blow dried the hair so gingerly. So many asmr tingles!
Actually, when he speaks with Korean, he talks too much lol 😅 I expected ASMR, but feeling like teacher's lecture.
I remember Mr Lee!!! He is on a TV Show, and for that show he go to Seville, Spain, and opening a barbershop there. he famous for had a gentle hand within customers in Spain. I wish he still healthy and live well for years to come.
This man is a true master. Hair looks great, Harry.
This barber is a true master craftsman. From making sure he looks good then the technique. Years of experience you can just see it.
This man is adorable, the way he applied that hairspray 🥺🥺 my heart
I don't know why, but watch this video every day, it's amazing to see how professional he is.
A true professional Korean barber, no talking only doing his great technique style, hair foam, powder check and the fine scissor work. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱.
Dude is very skilled at his craft...The most enjoyable thing to me on Harry's videos is the subtle differences seemingly every barber has...They put their own unique spins on their jobs, and its interesting to see what so many different cultures come up with...This guy is awesome...An old school type barber, that seems like a nice gentleman...Great work as always Harry
His attention to detail is mesmerizing. Such a beautiful haircut beginning to end. Well done Sir.
Keep coming back to this chap. True pride in his job. Lovely to see.
Man look at the precision with which this man performs his job , nothing can substitute an experienced hand
I wonder if this incredible man knows that nearly 8 million people have seen him expertly show his craft?
I would imagine internet exists in Seoul
@@dannydubya9410 In south korea every 5 meters you walk your phone catch a wifi signal

This gentleman should be awarded a national cultural treasure award, if they have such a thing there- one of my favorite vids Harry, thanks!
*Stops where most other barbers would...
Mr. Lee: "Hairstyle ok?"
Harry: "Yes, thanks!"
Mr. Lee: *a'ight, Imma go ahead and spend another 30 minutes perfecting it...*
For real
When the dude styled his own hair in the mirror was the best part! Harry must have thought he is in the twilight zone🤭
Your comment had me cracking up
wiping off the cream bud
I didn't even get your comment until I got to that part and then I laughed
He is a true craftsman. His attention to detail and pride in his work is amazing. Fantastic ASMR content too.
At the beginning of this video I didn't think that guy's hair was long enough for a cut, but after watching the master at work, I realize that guy was practically a hippie.
Oldest barbershop in South Korea AND still using its original equipment by the looks of things. . A pleasure to watch him in action with a noticeable, yet humble, pride in his work.
This man has lived through a painful occupation, a war and the whole transformation of Korea. Insane.
Queen Janeway I bet listening to his stories would make for one hell of an evening/night! Plus think of all the interesting conversations he has probably had with customers or the stuff he has seen since the shop has been there for so long.

@@indianasquatchunters I would drink a bucket of soju with him all night just to hear his stories.

The way the barber asks if the hairstyle is ok warms my heart 😄
Same. I admire their humble nature and politeness. Two things you rarely see anymore.
I love that artists like Harry get the recognition and love they deserve with the gift of the internet. The world didnt know what we were missing before TH-cam.
You mean Mr. Lee.
The shape he gets with a texturizing shear is incredible. Perfect for your hair type.
I noticed he placed the fan in such a way that the air would reach the person getting his hair cut. I think that's so smart
I was stationed in South Korea from 2008 til 2009, and while I got my haircuts on US military bases, they were all done by local nationals - both young and old. They always did a phenomenal job; I haven't had such good service since
This video should be titled "The greatest haircut ever made"... Simply amazing.
When the barber started applying cream on harry's head I thought harry gona shave his head😅 but when he started rubbing his palm over his head then realized😉 was a technique to check his hairs length and density. Cool and intelligent barber.
Chetana Ingale Thanks for the info I was having a hard time trying to figure out exactly why he was doing that.
Why is density important?
If you cut it too short in areas where the hair is less dense it will look like a bald(ing) patch.
2:30 when the master is about to perform.
This barber really knows what he's doing, he knows his customer is comfortable and he knows he's going to do it perfectly, a true professional here!
I like how he unveils the cart where he sharpens the straight razors, he looks over his shoulder like he's hiding a time machine and doesn't want anybody to see. Awesome video
Just read you comment, looked for that part. You're spot on!
@@trevorlintott598time stamp pls?
The way this man finesses and almost sways makes this haircut seem as a performance of a master craftsmen.
Ma man sure knows how to cut hair. My god that was one of the best videos I ever saw. Everything he does is just so magical, not only what he does but just the person he is and the workplace he is working from.
I’d love to find a hairdresser who would cut my hair with such care and not be blabbing the whole time. It would be so nice to just enjoy the pampering.
Well, I enjoy talking with the hairdresser, but that may just be me.
👍👍👍
Quit talking over my ASMR bruhh
Agreed. I just want to veg out and relax - whereas hairdressers insist in blabbering non-stop.
I love a good old chinwag when I go to the hairdressers. Quiet time is when they wash my hair.
Pay attention, this is a master of his craft at work. Nothing but respect for this man.
My grandpa used to cut my brother and my hair like this as kids. The sound of his scissors triggered some great childhood memories!

That barber turned Harrys hair into art with that dryer, - king of all hairdressers.
dang back here 3 years later...never trust anyone with your looks if they dont care how they look...Mr. Lee is an artist!!! Always enjoy this one...Thanks Harry!!!
Can't believe this barber is 90 years old. He is great. Respect
That barbershop is 90 yrs old. His father started, and he is 2nd owner of barber shop.
the shop is 93, grandpa started
90?? He's got jet black hair!
dude was born before ww2, crazy....
this is one of the more beatiful demonstrations of unmatched experience, delivery and passion
The clear audio in your videos is amazing! I don’t think there’s any videos on TH-cam that match it. Keep up the great work Harry!
