Part 2 - Refurbish Zeneth 36 VI carburetor Land Rover Series 2A - So Oldt

  • This video is part 2 of refurbushing the Zeneth 36 VI carburetor used on a Land Rover Series 2A petrol engine. In this part i am installing some parts of the carburetor Kit . At the end the carburetor is ready to be used. The result of part 1 and part 2 is a new Zeneth carburetor were the mixture can be regulated to 3% CO. With this carb the engine is running 26 minutes on idle with 1 liter petrol. Before the refurbishing, it did run 2 minutes on 1 liter of petrol. I first wanted to change the carb with a Weber but now i am satisfied with the Zeneth 36 IV.

      Hello Marco Rojas . Thank you for the feedback. It is always nice to hear that a video is usefull for somebody. Do not forget to resurface the carb parts (see video part 1 : resurface Zeneth 36VI carb Land Rover series 2A) The resurfacing of the Zeneth 36 is essential for a good repair because the body of the carberator is warped from the heat. Installing the new nozzles (video part 2 : Refurbish zeneth 36 VI carb) is the easier part of the refurbishing job. Fist i did the refurbishing without the resurfacing of the body parts and it was a failure. Pleace subscribe to me channel if possible. Have a nice day. So Oldt
