I love the GH6 for photography, honestly I'd love to pick up another one and put my G9 permanently for filming youtube videos...but the rumour of the G9 mark ii has me knowing I need that with my GH6 for photography...I've always loved to cameras to shoot with and 2 to film with. The bonus on the GH6 is definitely the 14 bit raw files, way more space to play in editing.

This seems to make sense, but what I can't figure out is .. . why do photo rules not matter for video? There must be more to it because we can clearly see the model in the video before the photo comparison and the video doesn't have as much of a problem with the exposure ? 🤔
Yeah no, no camera can do what diffused light can regardless of dynamic range. Don’t watch Instagram reels with photographers running around snapping blurry photos of weddings and saying it’s art.

Just had a 25 headshot shoot Saturday I held the defuser over my client shooting at an unideal time 12 noon.
I'm sure the shots came out epic!! Diffused sun looks absolutely amazing, and the true skin tones you get from diffused son is so accurate 👌

Correct, but definitely not pointing it from the bottom up.
Or just stop acting like a 90s pro photographer and don't use it cause your camera has insane capabilities and you don't need it.

Cameras don’t have the capability to diffuse light. Dynamic range is not about that.
