Nice roadtrip, and the house in a beautiful area, and every time i see your 240, i say to myself, i want one. It is my favorite model Volvo, i use to had 3 of them, a 1979 244 gle, after that a 1982 240 turbo, and after that a 245 glt.

I was kind of close to watch you taking care of these beautiful swedish pieces of engineering. But now you are far away in the south no peeping over your shoulder how you keep em runnin. On a side note here,,,,what are the laws in Germany with the tyers? I was talking to a tyre fitter here in the UK that does part worns, he said most of the tyres come from Germany because they have strict tyre laws!
Hmmm interesting, I certainly haven't seen any part worn tyre shops like in the UK 😀 Not sure on the minimum tread depth for the TÜV / MOT, but I did manage to get a pass ticket with 10 year old tyres that weren't the freshest!
Have had two of these 240 -Volvos, majestic cars. Nowadays in Finland, if you want to get a good one it'll cost some 5000 and more euros, which i understand. Thx for the video!
There are still good deals to be found, a friend recently got one for 1500e. 240 2.3l. Inspected and rust free. Needs some maintenance and a little bit of interior work.
I'm assuming this is rented rather than a purchase but some years ago I did look at a few houses for sale in Germany. I could not afford much so they tended to be ones described as needing renovation or modernisation. Germans evidently have high standards, as even those houses looked fine to me, with very little work needed!
Awesome video again! Awesome trip, nice house, and undoubtedly the garage as highlight! You do annoy me however, by having your windscreen wipers on, when driving in a tunnel. But that is just my OCD speaking 😂
