I never thought I would ever see this day, new Jet Set Radio AND new Crazy Taxi announced on the same day. Sega is KILLING it
I'm psyched too, but isn't it weird that they announced a new Jet Set Radio this closely after Hi-Fi Rush came out? Granted, the new Jet Set won't be out for a while, but Hi-Fi is going to have people satisfied for a while, I think.
let's hops nights and sonic adventure is included in these remakes 😭

Ever since 2004, the company went public. It is now a stock value that has to generate INCREASING profits each trimester, which will undoubtedly mean milking every single one of these titles for as much money as possible, to the detriment of customers. Just look at the Total War debacle, and how their aggressive release/monetization strategy has managed to burn that franchise to the ground. These "legends" will suffer the same fate.
Thats not the Sega i remember. Its just a cheap bunch of developers with zero creativity ready to screw up a few franchises.
You still got it, SEGA. Give these franchises the love they deserve, give us the quality we remember from the late 80s and 90s.

I cannot stress how important it is that they get Crazy Taxi right. Sega please for the love of God do this right and give us a good game. Also the music for this will be MASSIVE. The right song selection is so important to the success of this game. Modes from the old game, updated modes, item shop like Fortnite for new cars (will keep corporate happy). Millions of us have waited a long time for a proper return. Thank u for even putting a new version back into development

Same me and my mum would play streets of rage 1 and 2 golden axe I'd always get beat but playing golden axe 1 to 4 emulation it's more easy golden axe 3 and 4 was better

This was definitely the most exciting announcement at TGA. Reviving just one of these franchises would've been exciting, but 5!? Absolutely insane!

I’ve been dreaming from this level of quality from you all since I was a child. Congratulations Sega. You’ve gained all of our collective approval for the first time in years.
Growing up Sega, Nintendo, Capcom, and Konami were the 4 developers that defined my childhood. Glad to see Sega is coming back to their former glory!
This was probably the TGA announcement that got the biggest reaction out of me. I love all of these IPs and so happy Sega is reaching into their bag. High hopes for all of these. Now if only Capcom would do the same.
We can't complain about Capcom, they are awesome. Some IPs don't have games for awhile, but they are doing great things with RE or MH. If Sega can make these games awesome, this can be a new era for Sega.

FINALLY, JSR is getting a modern revival! JSRF was my absolute favorite. I hope they do the franchise justice.

Literally been thinking to myself for half a year after reintroducing myself to the Shinobi games, and even been planning on doing this through my own means, wouldn't it be great if one day Sega or some other entity made a Shinobi 4 or something akin to that based off the gameplay of Shinobi 3 (never touched any game newer than legions, mind you)? And by golly wouldn't you know it? Not a gun dun year passes by Sega actually does it. Get screwed fans that waited decades, ya half witted donkeys, I only had to wait six months!
In all seriousness though, I can't believe they actually did it. They actually became that one video company everyone fantasies about. The one that brings back a bunch of dead franchises all at once and gives them their sequel. They're actually giving us our dream. I may not be the biggest fan of Sega's recent out put of content and for years and years now they've always been bottom of the barrel when it comes to the standard of quality they're expected to up keep, but I've always stayed by their side because throughout all my criticism of them the one thing that I can almost always defend and see in them is that somebody somewhere there still hold that passion. And it's because that, man. It is all because of that. Sometimes they feel like the only real ones left.
Just sometimes tho.
For awhile, I thought Shinobi 3DS was going to be the last Shinobi ever. Glad to see a comeback but Sega needs to make an incredibly solid game since Shinobi won’t sell based on brand recognition.
They can have their GTA crap, THIS is what I am excited for. Honestly, I am saying this as someone who was a Nintendo fanboy back in the day, I am so thankful that Sega is still around. It's like their edgy attitude from the 90's refuses to die even though they are not the powerhouse they once were. I think with some games like this and getting their groove back, they can take back the share of the market that was taken from them due to their bad decisions in the 90's. I respect them as a company now and have some of their rare systems like the CDX. Who knows, with enough revenue and support, maybe we can finally turn the gaming landscape on its head with a Dreamcast 2 release? As much as people keep denying that, everyone knows that thing would put a dent in the XBOX.
Can we have a sequel console to the Dreamcast to play all of these on? That'd be a dream come true.

This new era brings back the feeling of the early 2000’s Sega. I absolutely loved my Dreamcast, i still have it, so this is exactly what i wanted.
I cannot wait to play a new Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi. When these games release we will have now have access to most of Dreamcast’s best games on modern consoles, along with some previous re-releases such as Shenmue 1 & 2.
There were a lot of great games on Dreamcast but a few other games in particular that i would love to see a remake or remaster, although not all were by Sega…

Keep this up Sega! You're other games deserves more love too! I'm glad and happy for all of the Sonic the Hedgehog games that you've released over the years but gamers need to know that you have tons of other games in your library! That's why I'm glad that trailers like this new game reveal of new Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi are being announced! This shows that you care about your other game franchises! Fans are happy and newcomers get to experience older IPs but in new updated forms in the modern era of gaming!

As a Sega fan who still has my Master System, Game Gear, Mega Drive, Mega CD, 32X, Saturn & Dreamcast. I'm gonna buy all these games just to support Sega and can't wait to hear what the more are.

Id hold off on the hopes before we know whether or not they're going to completely ruin these franchises by trying to force modernisation upon them rather than let them just be glorious as what they are and always were.
They're trying to push things like streets of Rage go next into the 3D era and I think it's not going to work out well at all😅
I would love nothing more then a good streets of Rage 5 having loved 4... but removing that gorgeous pixel art and changing the fighting mechanics... let's just be real they're going to f*** it up😅

This has gotta be one of the craziest announcements of the past decade. Five franchises got revived all at once with gameplay! And they all look good. Totally left field for Sega. I'm about it
Yeah, 100%. I'd say this could even be the biggest announcement ever done by a gaming company. This could've easily been it's own presentation, or announcements spread out over different events. But no, they just went HERE'S EVERYTHING WE ARE DOING at the same time and under a minute. Absolutely crazy.
Like imagine Capcom a few years back just pops out a one minute trailer showing they are making RE7, RE2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5 and then just say hey yeah this is happening bye.
And more, they said, so we might even be getting stuff like Space Channel 5 and (God willing) Out Run.

The gameplay footage for all 5 games looks legit amazing. I could not be more hyped!

Crazy Taxi is such a great game as is to see it get fresh updated graphics, it looks so good. Can’t wait for this to come out.

Loved how different the titles shown here look, especially Golden Axe, Streets of Rage and Shinobi. Oh Shinobi bringing that traditional 2D with that amazing art style? Day one, for me.
Not enough people are talking about how gorgeous the background looks in 1:25. This is the exact art style I want Golden Axe to have. Don't make it a dull and boring mashup of Game of Thrones and Skyrim. Give me the colorful and vibrant unholy demon lovechild of Conan and He-Man!
Thought this would be another SEGA All Stars Racing and that was great enough...but to see the revival of 5 franchises in such different art styles was beyond amazing!

Sega's going hard. Crazy Taxi was one of the first games I ever played (with my mom at that). It getting a new game is something I never dreamed of.

Absolutely the best trailer shown at the game awards this year. That new Jet Set is just unbelievable, and it's now my most-wanted game period. But everything shown in the trailer will be a buy for me. Feels like a Dreamcast revival. :)

Sega saw what Team Reptile did with Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and realised how many people out there want a JSR 3. On Roller Champions there was even a JSR event a few months ago and now they brought that event back.
Right now, we are at the end of 2023, and Sega still do an old school trailer as if we still were in the 90's, and I love it
