I have been coming back to listen to your fantastic performance since it was posted, and am always amazed that this 4-hands master piece can be played so beautifully with only ten fingers! I also enjoyed two other live performances on TH-cam, one by Maria Grinberg in 1963, and another by Allen Yueh in 2019. All three were transcribed differently and performed amazingly!

Indeed, sometimes greater artistic goals may be achieved when playing a two-hands version because no effort is spent on interaction between the two pianists. But I am not always certain that it is necessarily an advantage. Perhaps this interaction between the two, albeit tiring at times, might be a necessary discipline for the soul in order to play the fantasy...

What strikes me in your performance is you manage to keep several voices at the same time just as if there were 2 pianists.
2 years after this " discovery" i still have the same pleasure hearing your arrangement. you're definiterly the best performer for this piece's solo version, and btw better than many 4 hands versions
