And yes, it's still illegal in Texas. It's against Federal Law. Why don't you call Dodge directly and ask them. No dealer will take them off for you. And no dealer will accept them on trade taken off. Yes, even in Texas. You could be sued by your own readers if they take your advice and get jammed up. Your videos go world wide, not just to Texas. Your Texas mouth is writing checks you can't cash. I don't understand what the big deal is. These things stock will blow off almost everything out there that moves. Except more expensive Chargers and only that. And with our 8-speeds? I DO MEAN BLOW OFF! With the 3.6, it's sh*t or get off the pot if you want more. And that's true for all of them. Like I said above, all a Hellcat is, is a sh*t or get off the pot Scat Pack. But remember this, there's NOTHING worse than a car that sounds fast, and isn't.

Hey i have the same model do you know what brand you used for the cold air intake?
The v8 doesn't sound better it sounds different. A v6 with Vibrant mids and resonator deletes sounds awesome. With a good cold air and 390 rear dif the v6 is awesome. Add a tune and an 80mm throttle body and you're rockin.

I will take this advise for my v6 challenger
Everyone who hates on v6's has never driven one. Anyone can drive a naturally aspirated v8. It's a fun grind to get your v6 to go faster. I've loved finding new things to do to mine.
Edit: the new sxt's make the 320 hp along with the new gt's intakes, tunes and those supercharger modules will make your car as fast as a base rt.

I just got a 2020 charger with a 3.6 v6 and only lost to a scat pack challenger by 2 car lengths want more speed and this helped with me choosing my mods
The scat wasn't flooring it most likely it will leave buses on a Sxt bro trust me I know
I have the Pedal Commander on my 19 Challeger GT. Never a problem ! Highly recommend one

@@MDAGHunter it will give you the biggest response over anything else. I had a cold air and $1200 borla exhaust ( you can feel pep from the borla..its full stainless..for awd winter ..right ? No rusting pipes). But ya..the Commander is crazy..if you do it..BE ADVISED..do not turn it all the way up and turn on sport mode..it jumps like hell!!..lol
I own a 2017 Charger SXT Rallye, prior to watching this video I already have, muffler delete (cats still on), Sprint Booster (like pedal box or pedal commander), a massive AIR AID Cold Air Intake with intake box, as well as the tazr. i will say i can keep up with R/Ts but still not faster.
That interior is 🔥🔥🔥 good choice of mods to improve power and performance to the V6 charger....good vid 👍💪

Those may all be helpful but will not make your car much faster or near an RT in horsepower. The only thing that will do that for a V6 is forced induction of some kind. A cold air intake will maybe add 5 HP, pedal commander will not add anything but make throttle response better which I do agree will help in any vehicle, I use a 9 Drive in my vehicles. Stock air box can definitely flow more air than needed and already pulls air from a colder location than the engine bay. The best thing I could recommend is a tune, that would add the most power with reasonable cost.

For the intake. Do I want the chrome arm or plastic one? Idk if it makes a difference so I thought I might as well ask
Doesnt really matter as much, the chrome one will get hotter and that will make the air a little hotter so thats something to think about
@@ak.foesev that piece is more for the esthetics, I have the black plastic one. The chrome one might sound better since that part replaces the intake “resonator”
But I can assure you that it’ll sound 100% better.
Great video....thanks! If you really want to get the most out of a cold air intake its best to change the throttle body as well to a larger diameter size.
Mine was a 1998 vw vr6 with header, magnaflow fatback eibach springs away bars. Poly engine mount, chip performance, I was racing against mustang v8 5.0s, and beating them.

Nice! And sadly i already gave them away but same. Im NOT racing anyone lmao i know the V6 charger isnt incredibly fast especially because of how heavy it is but its still quick. Put the super 10’s on, you wont be disappointed
For 100.00 straight pipe it and it sounds good. Does have drone but after a month kinda settles in to the sound and I love the sound and you can’t go wrong for 100! Oh I only took off the rear resonators and have the mid mufflers still on

Just a muffler delete wont really be that loud and will be raspy. If you want a deeper sound best bet is to go super 10’s

I can make the v6 out run a Scatt pack , your v6 does sound really good , I have ripp supercharger and there exhaust , my exhaust don’t sound as good as yours

Yes the rt only has 70 more horses. But the rt has 395 foot pounds of torque. The 3.6 only has like 260. My friend has a rt and smokes me. Especially on the line.
If you have a stock gt and your friend has a rt, then yes no one is surprised your getting smoked.
Rt is also 400lbs heavier, I smoke them off the line in my sxt ( borla exhaust with AFE I take)
Yall for the 3.6 you can do a good CAI/Hellcat Intake, Exhuasts, bigger ported throttle body, Ported intake manifold, and Ripp Supercharger system but get it all tuned correctly by someone professional

I got the roarpedal box and it on the highest settings with traction off pulls. Have it in my sxt for 2 months and still makes me smile when stepping on it

Adding a cold air intake means you’d have to tune it to make sure the car is adjusted to the right air flow

What did you do to your exhaust? Not cat delete but what did you replace your center mufflers with? Did you do a rear resonator delete?

I recently got my charger sxt a few days ago and since then I’ve been watching ur content and it’s been really helpful honestly as a new person to the charger scene. I got a muffler delete already with a straight pipe and it sounds pretty nice but I’m considering buying a diffuser so I can get some tips and I was wondering if that would do any justice to the sound of the v6?

I have a Chrysler 300S AWD V-6 Penstar, I made my own cold 🥶 intake. Take the air filter box out, then drill 100 1/8th inch holes in the bottom of the air filter box. Home made cold 🥶 air intake

Is the stock throttle body 73mm? Maybe running a 80mm throttle body mixed with that cold air intake should really pull in enough extra air to really feed that engine. Just a suggestion , I run it on my grand Cherokee lol

Not to be rude but that's cap man. I've raced my buddy with a 2020 sxt plus with cai and muffler delete and I have best him everytime. I drive a 2020 sxt base with only magnaflow pro and my best has been a 6.1 in the 0-60. You definitely have to have more mods bc just a muffler delete is not pushing you that fast.

i have a 2022 charger gt, im scared to mod the engine, but my plans are exhaust, better fuel injectors, bigger throttle body, cold air intake, tune, lower the car, better tires, but like i said, im nervous to mod it 😂 its my daily i dont wanna blow it up 😂
my fastest 0-60 was 2.4 seconds all stock, i have a youtube short of my fastest times

Feel like the prices were way below what they really are
Afe intake runs around 400$
Exhaust 800$-1000$
HP tuners 500$
A full exhaust will run you close to 1000 but for just a muffler delete and replacement with a flowmaster isnt that much. All the prices i said at the time were correct or what i experienced

The Pedal Commander is worth the money. You don't realize how much throttle lag you have until it's gone. It can even make your car nervous, like it's had too much coffee. Really. Well worth the 250 dollars but it won't add one horsepower and it's doesn't say it does. You'd need a HP Tuners hack box, and a knowledge of tuning to do that. I bought mine because my car almost got me killed when I stood on it and nothing happened. It won't do that again. You can even control it from an app on your phone. It automatically turns off when you exit the car and the computer turns off. It automatically turns back on when you get in waking the computer back up. It remembers your last setting and starts from there. It's really noticeable in normal mode. If fact, you may not use Sport mode again because of the difference it makes. It has 36 total levels. I use Sport +1. Any more than that and the car starts to get frantic, jerky. ONLY get a real Pedal Commander. Mine has never tripped a check engine light. The bluetooth is a little clunky at first, but it gets better. You can get them for your specific car on Amazon.
