@@clove.6430 Yea!! Andy Rourke is one of my all time favorite bassists. I adore his punchy bass tone, and seeing him collab with Peter Hook in Monaco was a dream come true.
The Fender Jazz has such a beautiful tone. I'm a Geddy Lee fan too, so check out Rush- "Malignant Narcissism" and "Leave that thing alone". Great for da guys slappin' da bass
Only discovered your page since Rourke's death & revisiting my Smiths period which was a staple in my teen years. Great work, bloody brillant bass line! Now wish I could play. There's not much on your profile - where are you from? Are you in the music biz?
Sounds great! I thought it was in this whole-step-up tuning. A lot easier to play that way, especially the main riff. I've done some other Smiths songs on bass here too in case you want to check them out.
Great playing and shows what the hidden genius of Andy Rourke
RIP Andy.
RIP Andy !
Genius bassline for a genius song.
Fantastic. Very accurate to how Mr Rourke played it. Great sound from your J. 👍😎
Amazing cover! Loved your tshirt too. Congrats :*
Love the Joy Division shirt!
Fun fact: Morrissey didn’t understand how people could like Joy Division.
@@clove.6430 He only ever understood how *important* he was lol. Wearing a JD shirt in a Smiths cover is the ultimate flex on Mozz.
