On the account of Driver's meeting after FP2 on Friday, there was a period (2017 I guess) when F1 official TH-cam channel used to upload some minutes of the Driver's meeting and Charles Whiting was F1 Race director. Whenever I hear Driver's meeting, it always reminds me of him, a legend of the sport, an amazing personality.

Love your work Kim! You and Larry Chen are my hero. What i would love to know is what your total expenses amount to at the end of the season. And whether you turn a profit or not. Because you don't exactly travel on a budget. Business class this and 5 star that it can't be cheap . You're quite boujee in how you travel. Also are you often travelling solo or do you have a team around you and how much time do you actually spend back home. It must be so tiresome i and i applaud how frequent you are getting quality, to the point content to us. And thankyou for doing so.

@@KymIllmanrecently went to the Long Beach Grand Prix with my family ( I live in Long Beach California in america after moving from Inglewood California : the city most known for both the Great western forum and roscoes chicken and waffles ) I would love to see a Grand Prix that F1 does but the closest track I live to is the one in Vegas
The blooper at the end is quintessential sound of American metropolitan environments, particularly late at night lol.
Do you also remember that weird time out Qualy thing they brought in for 2015 if i remember, that was just as well received as the double points. Scraped after 1st or 2nd race.

It's literally called The Swimming Pool Complex which are turns 13/14/15/16 so it's not a corner but a number of corners.

a lot of this we should know from watching you videos or just being f1 fans. some things ididnn't know like the watch sponsors - is that something you really "must know" about f1? o.O
I checked out Quadlock when i was Down Under a few weeks ago, my brother lives in Adelaide and it looked great (I'm from Sweden). Sadly, their wireless heads aren't compatible with Universal adaptors so my Doogee won't work😢
How does Lewis get his salary from Ferrari or Max get that large offer from Mercedes with the spend capped ?
Drivers salaries are exempt from the cap.

No, you only have to declare sponsors, it's TH-cam itself that puts ads on the videos.
If he’s having an incentive to post about them then he needs to tell us that’s it’s sponsored.

Why cant they widen the monacco track by at least 6 feet on average for some kind of racing to take place ?
This could easily be done by widening in the swimming pool section of the track at least and moving the crash armco further back from the track.

Kym, love these types of videos as you will always have those commenting to try and find something wrong in it.......OK, so here are my lot and one for you that you may not know about F1. First off swimming pools trackside where you can view the race, The Conrad Hotel in Singapore and the Marina Bay Sands pool also in Singapore. OK, here's the question for you. Are F1 drivers drug tested before races?
Shamefully greedy of F1 not to pay their track workers.
It is not just F1. All motorsports, from local track days to world racing events, all track marshalls are volunteers since a very long time ago. Google that.
They do get some perks. That is why track marshalls all over the world are well respected because they are the reason racing continues to exist.
Do you get paid by F1 or do you sell your pictures? I assume you can't just get a camera and ask for a press/photographer pass from F1 for a specific circuit 🤷

My least favourite race…. Miami is a purely American, extremely cringe~worthy, celebrity-based (vs Motorsport) false representation historically of the sport. I might watch, but I won’t go out of my way to catch it.
I should have added, the fake marina complete with boats / wannabe Monaco yachts is the cement which keeps this race weekend an American embarrassment. Looking forward to my home race in Canada where we have actual water alongside the track.
Hands off cell phones while driving. People die because of it. It's not the best ad for this channel.
