Amazing video again, you make catching big tautog from the jetty look easy ! Thanks for the tutorial especially in rough conditions when most people would've stayed home.
Great video man!! I’m going to buy a little belt holster for the pre-cut crabs, great idea. I fish for tog off the beach a lot and I have never thought to go that I waste a lot of time between casts getting my crabs ready. Awesome!
Thanks for the report. I'm going to kick myself for not going. I was out for stripers during the day and finked out at the end of the day. I should have hit the jetties. Keep the videos coming.
@@TriboroFishing I don’t know how you’re states law reads but Massachusetts has to use circle hooks when using live or cut bait even if you’re “wink wink” targeting bluefish.
Hey bud, is that Dacron braid you using? Thinking of switching to that. The rocks I fish for larger tog are away from me 20-30 feet so I have a scope bringing to land and rub rocks. 50lb braid cuts fairly easy at times. That tog bite has been pretty good for me last few weeks.
@@TriboroFishing gotcha, yeah I guess fish pushing 20" gonna break on rocks fairly easy with the braid. Makes sense why I see the longer rods to cut down the angle in the water.
I was also here the other day under the bridge on the left side. I didn't catch anything other than a pretty nice sized seabass. It was the biggest one I ever caught from shore
@@TriboroFishing oh ok, sounds good I will try that next time. Just bought a new reel and I am planing on buying a new rod too. It’s a casting reel, what would you recommend for stripers and big tautogs?
So the law its more for his safety. Depending on the day and tide the waves can over take that area. I've seen people get swept away there, but they all seem to be able to get back up.
@@asianforce Yup totally agree. I get safety, but it's not the government's job to protect me from myself. If people want to take the risk, they should be allowed to.

Glad I could help and good luck
I miss fishing for those. They sure do taste great
Wow, more really nice fish from a jetty! Way to go man, this really shows they love to feed around those rocks when there's a swell
Togging in this weather really makes bigger ones more active I think.
The bite is on !
Thnx for the video Ray !
Thanks Vince for always commenting
Nice…. I was there the other day, suns out, people out…. Love rough weather!
This rougher weather fish like.
That’s a great tog trip man. With that rough water too! Awesome job
Thanks The line cook 👨🍳
Great catch! And we’ll done keeping only what you need.
Thanks for watching buddy
Awesome not bad at all....Fish on

Thanks for watching Thomas. Got a striper video coming out soon. Watch out for it.
Where is that location?
Great catching,,love fishing in that kind of weather,,keeps fair weather people home
I was fishing the rocks yesterday caught a few shorts. The guy down the rocks a bit was having a much better day, he recommended sand fleas.
Green and Asian crabs is best for fall and winter fishing.
Don’t you have to use circle hooks when using live bait even if you aren’t targeting bass?
You have to use circle hooks when bait fishing only for stripers.

@@6atlantis ok good to know
Is the side you on better than the left side? Why the preference.
Doesn’t matter which side
I stop using swivels. Learned the slim beauty knot and the rest is history. Saves the guide tips and have pulled in 20+ togs and 40+ stripers
Awesome video
Thanks Juan fish on bro
Where do you park? Are the meters suspended since summer is over?
You can park anywhere
good job in lousy weather

Im using 20lbs Berkley x9 braid with a long 40lb mono leader.

Hi nice vid nice tog congrats could you please tell me what is the name of the fishing rod your using and van stall number thanks
Thanks for watching. My set up is in the description below
Nice keepers! How long did you have to wait in between bites?
So I caught about 6 fish that day within two hours.
Subscribed... great channel
could you please do a video on how and when to set the hook
Sure man I’ll make a video
You guys get snag a lot there ?
Not that bad go light as possible
Was this yesterday?
This past weekday
I was being stupid and used braid and hooked onto a huge tautog and it broke on the rocks. Gonna try again with fluoro
I’ll use 40lbs mono leader a lot cheaper then fluoro.

Don't waste those crab legs try to throw them in the water where you are fishing at.
You call that a big tog ? 😂
Only in NY.. DO NOT ENTER: dudes fishing. 🤪

You should show how you put your bait and don’t be so selfish just sayin
