I love it when Sylvia and BK are doing their cooking show! But having surprise guests takes it another level coz you don't know what topic can spring out from their chats! ❤
The best ingredients to make marination for chicken is calamansi or lemon and fish sauce 1 : 1 ratio then marinate for 15 to 30 mins then you can put breading then deep fry. 🇵🇭❤️🇰🇷

For a home made jollibee chicken, u can just marinate it with calamansi or lemon alone then coat it with mixture of crispy fry breading mix and flour....u get exactly like the jollibee fried chicken

i hope you find my comment. Jollibee chicken is just a variation of fish sauce marinated chicken. For the coating its just a mix of flour, cornstarch, msg, salt and white pepper. Double coated with 15 mins of cold rest(ref) before frying at 350.

Try putting all purpose cream( atleast 1/2 cup on a 1kl spag,but it depends on your taste) on your spaghetti sauce it'll taste like the exact jolli spaghetti you like

instead of using salt in chicken , try using fish sauce instead.. for 1kl chicken add 1/8 to 1/4 cup of fish sauce. then add black 1/2tbsp. of pepper powder, and 1tbsp paprika. massage the chicken with the marinade. then set aside for atleast 5min then add 1cup of flour and 1/2cup of cornstarch and chicken powder atleast 1/2 tbsp.. mix it until al chicken covered. then add half cup water. THIS BREADING MIX will make the outer part of the chicken CRISPIER. that's the BEST,SIMPLEST AND EASIEST way to cook chicken FILIPINO STYLE. ive tried it many times already and my family loves it. u should try it also

should double fry the chicken. Just marinate it and cook it normally and get it off the pan 1-2 short. Let it cool down for several minutes then add the breading then fry it again for 1-2 mins

I don't know why you put chicken in water & vinegar 😅 but for Filipinos is marinate for fried chicken is in soy sauce, garlic or garlic powder, black pepper powder then calamansi but if you want crispy the skin of fried chicken please put patis or fish sauce than soy sauce 😁👍
Better to boil the chicken first before you put tha flours so that it will be juicy.

actually you do not plain fry chicken. I saw jollibee staff once use pressure fryers for the chickens and they just lightly coat it with flour (or coating, or whatever its called).... its the gravy that cannot be replicated
Next time you cook spaghetti instead of using ground.pork use canned corn beef
