i get a grinding feeling when i click spacebar on the sides, stabilizers suck, keys wobble a lot, sound is bad, but yeah rapid trigger is good. I'm refunding it tho cause qc is not very good at least on my unit
That's unfortunate to hear! I would be quite upset myself if I get a unit that isn't close to perfect at those prices. I hope that your next keyboard works out well.
Bought this and found a bunch of issues with the Synapse integration e.g. windows key frequently double types when synapse open. Really poorly put together software. Definitely not worth the price, very poor effort from razer. Trying to get a refund from razer support now - like getting blood out of stone.
Thats unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with yours.. I'd be very frustrated myself if that were to happen to me. I'm sure you have already updated Synapse and the firmware of the keyboard. If so, Windows key double typing sounds rather strange... I hope they get back to you asap!
is it just me or all switches that support rapid trigger whether optical on this keyboard or lekker on the wooting 60he all sound like ass? its like a loose bundle of plastic rattle
It's not just you! many people find that they do sound like ass 😅 With the tech now, its a choice between "good sound and feel" and "gaming performance and functions". But i'm sure someone will close the gap between the two soon!
Damn good video quality just like optimus tech, sometimes u look too much away from the camera maybe reading your script? anyway love your vid, but we still need a comparison video of this v3 keyboard against wooting 60he+
Can you do a review comparing the steel series apex pro and the Razor huntsman V3. If you have any personal experience with both, which do you prefer for analog like features?
I would be sure to do a review on that keyboard when I get one and work on a comparison video against the Huntsman V3! I honestly do not use the analog features on my Huntsman V3 because none of the games that I play require such a feature and for racing/ flight / fight games, I would use a controller 😅
In my Wooting 60 HE there is a function for analog keys called Axes Override, if you activate this function, only the highest value is taken. For example, I set in Rocket League that I can make a maximum left turn if I press "A" down at least 2 millimeters (same for the right turn), if I keep the key pressed I can only make a maximum right turn if I go down to the stop, that is 4 millimeters. Is there a similar function for the Huntsman v3 Pro? Or is Snap Tap compatible with analog keys? Unfortunately, you can only use Razer Synapse if you actually have a V3 Pro.
I just got this keyboard and will test it today, since I had expensive keyboard already I have no idea if it will outperform and be at the same quality as my Logitech G513, because G513 is a superb keyboard and I just can’t imagine if by the feel and quality it can be outperformed. The reason I got it it’s because I only play CS2, but if the quality will be lower than G513 then I will be disappointed. For example arm rest looks cheaper compared to G513 and that razer logo, I just hate it, but it’s my personal taste.
Hello!!! Are you talking about the Huntsman V2 Analog or the Optical (Reds)? Huntsman V2 keyboards do not have Rapid trigger and adjustable actuation but if that is not important, and if it has to be a Huntsman Keyboard, I personally would pick the Huntsman V2 with Optical Red switches. For a keyboard with Adjustable actuation and Rapid trigger (on a budget), the DrunkDeer A75 has been getting quite a lot of attention :)
what do u think about razer pro type ultra, i love design, but unfortanetly i have razer cobra pro is black mouse and black mouse + white keyboard is bad. But! i love design of razer pro type ultra more than razer hunstman v3 pro ;(@@wasabitech
@@offtheday2316 they are both in very different categories in the Razer Product range! I think it’s perfectly fine to pick a keyboard because you like the look of it and I understand your dilemma color matching. My brother has a Pro type ultra and It does look good in person! Typing feel is ok, it’ll be perfectly fine for general use and ofcourse the lack of Rapid Trigger or Adjustable Actuation won’t stop you from using it to play games. I think that if you wanna stick with Razer and have a black pairing on your setup, you should consider the BlackWidow V4 pro or the 75%! Those have the RGB’s that will look great together with your Cobra :)
thank you for your time, I'm really looking at the difference between black widow v4 pro and hunstman v3 pro, to be honest I've never used mechanical keyboards in my life and I'm trying to figure out what their difference is, I couldn't find a comparison video I also wanted to say that I'm crazy about the razer cobra pro mouse, maybe if they had a white version, I would definitely take another one of the same mouse@@wasabitech right now i use Ornata v3 , it looks good, but my friend told me mechanical is better
razer kinda shit the bed on pricing for this, the tkl is $40 more expensive than the apex pro tkl and the mini is $10 more than the wooting....unless you're deep into the razer ecosystem or availability is an issue i don't see why anyone would pick the huntsmanv3 line over what's already out there
The pricing is rather outrageous and I agree that there are many options available for a little less. You're completely right on those two points about why one would pick the Huntsman V3 Line over something else! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this 😃
can i ask you, is it normal feeling the space worse than any key on keyboard ? it's not that clicky, it feels mushy and like it's not touching the ground (i just unboxed the keyboard)
Hello!! I have not experienced the Apex Pro in game yet. When I did check out one at the store, the only thing that bothered me was the sound of the spacebar but that could have just been the display unit. Other than that, I have heard many good things about the Apex Pro 2023! Between this and the Apex, functionality is the same (Rapid trigger, Adjustable actuation...) just that one is using Analog Optical Switches and the other has Hall Effect Magnetic Switches. Performance-wise with my experience between these two types of tech, I would not say there is much of a difference. What I like about the Huntsman V3 Pro TKL switches (Which I should have mentioned in my review) is that there is hardly any stem wobble and I like how the 40g actuation force feels. Gives me a lot of control when peeking or strafing 😊 As always Razer's software is ehhhhhh mmmm mehhhhh. But it works for me :)
Get the apex pro, i got the tkl and having the actuation on the keyboard screen is sick af. The keys are nice, light and smooth. It'll make you laugh whenever you hear someone go, "i lubed my switches" smooth. Only thing else i could ask for is getting rid of the wires. Which also exists now 😩😩😩
@@firellio070 I would in a heartbeat but I’ve seen so many people having issues with them where the keyboard just spams keys and when they ask steelseries support they just say buy a new one or give you a command to do that fixes your keyboard for only a small amount of time I don’t know if this is still happening but I don’t want to risk it and go through the trouble of re buying
