Thank you so much for this! I own every Taylor Swift album on vinyl records-and they usually have 2-4 in there, and I was so confused about how to sleeve! This helped a lot

I struggled with this too, and did something similar to your method. I found that I did not like stuffing 3 MoFi sleeved inners and the original jacket into one outer, felt like it would end up crushing the spine or just wearing on it too much. So my current method is to put the jacket and one sleeved inner on the back into one outer, and then break out a second "package..." A blank white jacket with discs 2 and 3 front and back into one outer sleeve. Sucks because one album ends up basically becoming 2 sets, but I feel better about the original jacket and keeping the discs from being on top of each other. My recent pickups of the From the Mars Hotel MoFi release and OK Computer OKNOTOK were the first to get this treatment and I am liking it so far. Thanks for sharing, you are right, there is not much out on YT on this topic.

I put it in a double sleeve and fold the third flap in the middle. I put the three lps in a mofi inner in a sleeve seperately with a closeable flap seperately. squeezing three lps is just receipe for ringwear.

I have two copies of this album,Japanese with the obi I purchased in the early 80's and also a North American copy.

you will still get ring even if you tuck the record inside the flap, and put it back on the shelf, with the weight on each side, it is just a matter of time. Yes it will take 3x longer for ring to appear. So basically you need to ensure your record is not in between the gatefold. The safest bet would be to put all three records on the back.

Im curious Would this not put pressure on the record that is inside the jacket?
I have bought a 3LP and I want to take the best care of it i can

@@ChrisPropfeMusicallyObsessed it worked on my Beatles anthology 1 and my Beatles live at the BBC vol.2,though it was a bit tight as it’s a thicker cover. Thanks for the tip.👍

What would I do with a non-gatefold, single jacket triple lo That doesn’t have folds to tuck the vinyl into along with putting it on the back

@@ChrisPropfeMusicallyObsessed yeah. If you need reference, it’s the new Mac Miller. It’s 3 LPs in a single jacket that’s wide, and I just don’t know how to store it without putting one in the back and two inside, which still risks leaving a ring

@@ChrisPropfeMusicallyObsessed I tried 1 inside and two on the back but it feels pretty cramped

Keeping those old inner paper sleeves and insert inside will lead to acidic deterioration within the jacket. If it’s not acid free paper I would store it outside the jacket.
