Sadly the lighter skinned Jamaicans are treated better than the darker skinned Jamaicans. The "concept" of discrimination of this kind is like that all over the world. In this day and age in the 21st Century, it should not be happening. There should be no room for ignorance and discrimination of any kind in any culture. Educational and humanitarian etiquette in how we respect each other positively, must be consistent at all times. The motto "Out of many ONE people this must be exercised: We all must always be good, positive role models for our children now and in the future for the "Commonwealth" all over the world.

I wished they (not you) had put the comma between "many" and "one." "Out of many, one people." When I was a kid, it didn't make sense to me since it all ran together. I've never seen it written any other way. There is (or should be) a pause at "many."
