Thank you! I really appreciate the support, thanks for checking out the rest of the series! I've actually tried out distant horizons, and it is such a cool mod, but its a little intense on my pc and I lose some performance. I wish I could use it all the time, its just a little heavy lol. This is personally my favorite Minecraft TH-camr, he’s extremely underrated, he has some amazing building skills, and best of all, he reads and hearts every comment! I bet he’ll heart this one to! You can also tell when he’s smiling even with only his mic, and he can also be very wholesome like with his dogs! In conclusion, this guy is awesome. Great work Etat!
Hahaha thank you so much, you're too kind! I love reading everyone's comments. Yall take the time and effort to leave comments, the least I can do is respond to them 😄. I appreciate the kinds words, you made my day, MuffinMan
To be honest I never write a comment, but I feel I havte to leave one here. My girlfriend hears a lot of asmr and I didn't got it first, but since I discovered your videos I got the feeling of it. I have a lot of stress (not bad one, but in generell) at the moment and your Videos help me a lot calm down and enjoy my evenings. You have a great calm voice and your videos are just art. Very enjoyable and made with lots of love. The pace is great. Appreciate your work and good luck at your new job. Much love from Germany
It's really great to see a new video from you 😁 Thank you for you good work on editing, adding soothing music and what not. Your vids are a treat for sure ❤ P.S. I do agree with you on the disorienting montages. It adds a level of consistency when you show HOW you get to places exactly
14:09 actually a lime collar might look better. more contrast that way also 16:48 yes i feel this way exactly! that little travel timelapse was super helpful for me. hopefully it's not too much extra work in editing, because i would love to see it more often! mainly like when you go somewhere new or far of course
Ohhh very true! Lime dye 100%, thanks for that suggestion! I appreciate the feedback! The fast travel was actually super quick to make compared to the building cinematics lol. I'll definitely do more in the future, and even try to find more creative ways to "fast travel". I appreciate ya, dialog_box ❤
i really enjoyed the fast travel segment at 16:14 it kinda keeps you in the loop with the world and how it feels on a grand scheme. i would love to see more of this type of „travel documentation“ in future episodes
For sure, thank you!! When I watch other creators, I always get disoriented and have no sense of direction. So hopefully this helped out a little bit since we're pretty far from home base. Thanks for watching ❤
You could bring maps for your travels and map out the frequent routes to display them in a map room or something similar if you like. Makes the whole where am i thing easier to grasp
This series is rekindling my love of the game. The laidback approach (in an environment of sensationalism and grandiosity on other channels), the lack of shaders (I play on Xbox and don’t have them, so it’s inspiring to see how beautiful your builds can look without them), and especially the commentary on your thought process while building and decorating. Definitely the best Minecraft content on TH-cam right now. I see a lot of positive comments about the horror subplot, and I don’t want to discourage it, but I’m worried it will start taking up more runtime or eventually transition to a story-based series like Shadow of Israphel, which would spell the end of all the other things I praised above.
I love your videos man. They are unique, extremely enjoyable, relaxing, inspiring, and overall such nourishing content. I dont know if youll see this comment, but if by chance you do, I would love it if we could see more footage of what you do. I think itd add to the enjoyment being able to experience you finding things, fighting, and exploring more:)

So glad you're back! :D Hope you're good with the job and in general, Etat What an episode, as always chill, fun and interesting, with "little" stuff like the roof for the house or big one with the fishing village. Cinematics and overall edit are so good and smooth, for sure it takes much time but we, the viewers, have to be patient and enjoy the series as it is Btw, like some people said, a lighthouse would be a great idea; and another example can be something like a lift to do sightseeing from the top of the cliffs, just having some time to relax like in the hot spring near the crops in the base Hyped about how the series is gonna continue (and the horror part, uhhh) and thank you so much for sharing this amazing idea of The Joy of Building!
Awww I really appreciate it!! The job has been wonderful so far, I'm very happy with it! Love the idea of a relaxation/ sightseeing area, sounds like a tourist activity and I'm all for it! Thank you much ❤❤
Oh my bad, that’s an old handle of mine. Ann was never supposed to refer to me but it’s an old account and it’s confused a lot of people so I’m changing it now. You can call me Kit. As for the video I liked the travel montage, it definitely helps place the location. I’m going to have to check out that cliff side cove, what an awesome place.

I think it would be neat to build a minecart railway between this town and your home, to shorten the trip a little bit. The ride can still be scenic, as proven by the many narrow-gauge mountain railways around the world.
Love that idea! Was actually planning on a little railway to the NPC village next episode, maybe we'll have to extend it all the way to the fishing village too!
absolutely loving this series, your storytelling and the vibes are so on point ♥ when i saw the fishing rod go missing i almost fell out of my chair XD
Oh my gosh, I see the resemblance now! Might have to take some inspiration from that when we expand the village! I totally didn't forget what it looked like and had to google it.... hehe 😅
I really like the horror/mystery aspect of the videos beginning to become more explicit!! I remember from the very start feeling that the far away camera angles felt unsettling in a way that HAD to be intentional; it was clearly voyeuristic yet very restrained, so much so that it did make me second guess myself about the tone of the series, "maybe it IS all in my head, this is just nice and calming Minecraft"!! Glad to have that validated haha, can't wait to see more!!

Also, i assume youre trying to keep this really close to vanilla, but have you considered adding something like distant horizons or nvidium? I think it could really make those beautiful views pop
Thank you! I really appreciate the support, thanks for checking out the rest of the series! I've actually tried out distant horizons, and it is such a cool mod, but its a little intense on my pc and I lose some performance. I wish I could use it all the time, its just a little heavy lol. Really great suggestion though!! 😊
@@Etat np!
Hahaha thank you! I really appreciate it! I'm so happy to hear that you're able to chill out and relax for a little bit while watching the videos
Glad to see another part of the series!
Thanks for sticking around!! ❤
It's really great to see a new video from you 😁
Thank you for you good work on editing, adding soothing music and what not. Your vids are a treat for sure ❤
P.S. I do agree with you on the disorienting montages. It adds a level of consistency when you show HOW you get to places exactly
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback! I'll try to do more fast travel segments whenever we build in new areas 😄
14:09 actually a lime collar might look better. more contrast that way
also 16:48 yes i feel this way exactly! that little travel timelapse was super helpful for me. hopefully it's not too much extra work in editing, because i would love to see it more often! mainly like when you go somewhere new or far of course
Ohhh very true! Lime dye 100%, thanks for that suggestion! I appreciate the feedback! The fast travel was actually super quick to make compared to the building cinematics lol. I'll definitely do more in the future, and even try to find more creative ways to "fast travel". I appreciate ya, dialog_box ❤
your videos reignite my passion for Minecraft every time I watch them. your work is absolutely lovely!
Aww that so kind, thank you so much! Thanks for sticking around and watching the series ❤
man these videos are such a treat to watch
Aww thanks, I'm glad you enjoy them!
favorite creator by far! incredible series
Aww thank you! That means the world to me
i really enjoyed the fast travel segment at 16:14 it kinda keeps you in the loop with the world and how it feels on a grand scheme. i would love to see more of this type of „travel documentation“ in future episodes
Love your videos Etat!
❤
This series is just so overwhelmingly *pleasant*. I can't express enough how much joy your videos bring me!
Awww thanks, that means so much to me! I'm glad you like the videos 😊
Aww thank you, that's really sweet! I really appreciate this comment, I'm glad you're finding that love for minecraft again! Thanks for watching ❤
Yayy! I am so happy to see your new Joy of Building episode!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoyed it 😊
This is hands down my favorite Minecraft series but imma be real the horror/ stalker bits are freakin me tf out.
Seriously though, underrated
@@dankhonkeytonkey2825 Thank you, I appreciate ya
I love your videos man. They are unique, extremely enjoyable, relaxing, inspiring, and overall such nourishing content. I dont know if youll see this comment, but if by chance you do, I would love it if we could see more footage of what you do. I think itd add to the enjoyment being able to experience you finding things, fighting, and exploring more:)
Perfect music choices
Thank you! Music makes all the difference! I'm glad you liked the songs :D
Welcome back
Thank you, thank you 😊
and i thought it couldnt get any better! the wating really paid off, the fishing pier looks soooo amazing! thank you for blessing us with this masterpiec(s)
Thank you, brotha! I'm glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks for sticking around ❤
So glad you’re back Etat! Glad to hear the new job is going well. Loved this video, and can’t wait for more! 🙌🏻🙂
Ayyy, thanks Hugo! I appreciate it, brotha! Thanks for sticking around
Loving those "lore" sections you do, I just want more of them!
Also beautiful fishing village!
Thank you!! I appreciate it 😊 I'm glad you like the village!
Love this series. Keep up the great work
So glad you're back! :D Hope you're good with the job and in general, Etat
What an episode, as always chill, fun and interesting, with "little" stuff like the roof for the house or big one with the fishing village. Cinematics and overall edit are so good and smooth, for sure it takes much time but we, the viewers, have to be patient and enjoy the series as it is
Btw, like some people said, a lighthouse would be a great idea; and another example can be something like a lift to do sightseeing from the top of the cliffs, just having some time to relax like in the hot spring near the crops in the base
Hyped about how the series is gonna continue (and the horror part, uhhh) and thank you so much for sharing this amazing idea of The Joy of Building!
Awww I really appreciate it!! The job has been wonderful so far, I'm very happy with it! Thank you so much for investing your time into this little passion project, it seriously means the world to me. Love the idea of a relaxation/ sightseeing area, sounds like a tourist activity and I'm all for it! Thank you much ❤❤
Love the vibe of these videos so much so calming and entertaining, I appreciate your content it’s the calm in the storm these days. Thank you!!
Aww thats too kind, thank you so much
I'm glad the new job is going well, and I'm so excited for future episodes and streams!🎉
Thank you so much!! 🎉
I've said it before, I'll say it again. I've been loving this series, please don't stop. Glad your new job is going well, love from Germany ❤️
Thank you so much, I appreciate your support!!! Shoutout to Germany ❤
Keep up the great content!
Appreciate ya, trick ❤
Glad to see a new episode, so relaxing and lovely.
Thanks, Ann!! I appreciate your support ❤
@@KoWahiKit Kit! Ok, gotcha hahaha, sorry about that!
Thank you so much! The cliff is definitely jaw dropping! Its like a blank canvas waiting for some epic builds!
Nice video, keep up the fantastic work man :D
Thanks, I appreciate it :D
he’s back!!! let’s catch some fish!!!
You know it!! Gotta grind for that mending book now 😅
18:32 i think i'm in love with this cinematic. the ultimate inspiration to providing the feeling of life and feeling of your experience in the world through the playthrough. the best part - I was thinking of this last night. so genuine, kind, thoughtful and supportive to the people you touch. thanks for being here and sharing your story.
glad the job is going well :)
Thank you so much, Slip! Thats such a poetic way to describe Minecraft, I love it!!! I really appreciate you and your support. Thanks so much for being a part of this community, genuinely so happy to have you as a friend
I think it would be neat to build a minecart railway between this town and your home, to shorten the trip a little bit. The ride can still be scenic, as proven by the many narrow-gauge mountain railways around the world.
Love that idea! Was actually planning on a little railway to the NPC village next episode, maybe we'll have to extend it all the way to the fishing village too!
absolutely loving this series, your storytelling and the vibes are so on point ♥
when i saw the fishing rod go missing i almost fell out of my chair XD
Ayyy that means a lot, I really appreciate it! I'm glad you're enjoying the series so far 😄
Love the fishing village!! Reminds me of the avatar episode
Oh my gosh, I see the resemblance now! Might have to take some inspiration from that when we expand the village! I totally didn't forget what it looked like and had to google it.... hehe 😅
YES!! Just got off work. So excited to sit back and watch this
Love to relax with some minecraft after a hard day at work! Thanks for watching
The editing was really good!
I appreciate it!! 😄
I’d live in that fishing village!
I liked the fast travel bit for sure.
Lol your username is perfect for a resident of the village! Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for keeping up with the series!! It means the world to me ❤
You should call the bee building the Apiary (very literal, but its a fun word).
LOL I agree, it is a very fun word 😂. Apiary it is!
