This is almost exactly the same as one of my family stories. My dad's grandfather was born illegitimate with no father on the birth certificate. The year prior his mother had also been working as a servant in the home of a married man, who happened to have the same first name as her illegitimate son. Unlike Jodie though I've been able to confirm the theory through Ancestry DNA.
I am 53 , and I was abandonned at birth because I was an illetimate child , so I don't know how she could be surprised that it would have happened to Walter many years before ..it was unforgiving time for single mother .
@@angelicagaldos Sorry, I have never seen Doctor Who, or the other thing, if it isn't the same thing. I have not even owned a TV since 2004, and I didn't really watch anything besides PBS as a kid... I rarely know who these celebrities are on this show, but I have been doing my own genealogy since 2005 which is why this show is interesting to me.
@@rosameryrojas-delcerro1059 They made her Doctor kind of strange. It was the writing but she did an amazing job though. Doctor Who is a good show and it protected a couple of things like that 2012 Olympics location before they announced it publicly.

So sorry you and your birth mum had to endure that.
OMG, is that Ivy's Cafe from Last of the Summer wine.
I was thinking exactly the same thing
Jodie Whittaker is My 19th cousin twice removed. on my Dad's side of Family
My mother is the spitting image of her grandmother Verdun.
My friends mum is Jodies cousin apparently
I was just wondering about that after I thought of he must have went to Gallifrey
And became The Master
Gallipoli?? That is in Turkey I think, Verdun is in France I am pretty sure.

Traditionally, the name "greta" is pronounced "GRAY~tah"; NEVER pronounced "greeee~tah" !
I knew a greta and she pronounced it greeee~tah. Depends on the person.
