12:31 Just play 1 Nashiwari Surprise alongside the Dangerous Gabu. It gives you options for disruption when you search a trap, plus allows you to get an extra piece of disruption off of Madame Spider even if you draw into one.

To add to this, I feel like the combo to make amazing dragon and bounce 3-4 is better than the rank 8 line because mass removal is really good against the current meta. Same goes for the traps, surprise is better right now than gabu imo, especially since you're playing 3 imperm and veiler
Gamma is probably the best handtrap in the game right now next to shifter and c. Being able to nuke the gigantic spright as it uses its effect is a blessing
Id really like to see an updated profile on this deck especially NOW since we have tearlaments and trap decks like lab and traptrix running around rn. Please🙏

Built a similar deck it's my new favorite thing the new boss is so fun you can get him to like 10k attack sometimes its and with the other boss syncri you can otk in one fall swoop

Not really, if you manage to go through your whole PUNK combo you can either: _ Set up a name for your on-hand VW (mill Nyannyan off of Dragon Drive chain 2, Deer Note revives Sharakusai chain 1). _ Or just straight up search Lulu into your hand off of Dragon Drive. The only issue with combining them is the deck space tbh, it's REALLY tight with barely any wiggle room at all.
Vw best variant, adventurer, unfortunately has very little space even for a tiny 3 card punk engine, if you're willing to go over 40 sure go ahead but then you may brick more than you already do
I actually played Punk Therion for my nationals last year and found it incredibly bricky. People don't realize how bricky Therion cards can be and with Emergency Teleport semi-limited and no access to Halq, that only gets worse. I don't think Punk Therion is bad or anything, but I feel the pure variant is more flexible and more consistent.
I've never played P.U.N.K but always wanted to. I've been concern because P.U.N.K is a small engine that I might have TOO many hand traps to the point I might brick alot.
3 ogre, 3 ze amin, 3 foxy, 2 e tele, 2 sharakusai… That’s 11 1-card starters and then 2 1-card starters that requires another name. I think that’s more starters than most decks honestly :)
Honestly the hand traps are a must id say they help more than hinder especially to prevent you getting maxxc Punk can literally play through an ash throw in some techs and you’re straight

But what's kept me from loving this deck is that it is almost impossible to play through a board thats set up. Now in respect to the meta, barely any deck can, and most decks love going first rather than second. So imma leave punk for now till Kashtira or sum comes into master duel that adds to its versatility.
@@Badbufon Just gotta pray u at least have e tele and ze amin on the first draw imo, the combos go crazy there. Other than that, dropped this deck from bricking too much on certain cards like hand traps.
@@Badbufon yea with tear out like wildfire, I've been coming across ppl who run decks just to counter GY effects. A shame really, not like I play tear or anything, but the hit to Deer Note cause of it makes PUNK worse than before against those decks.
If you want to do this I’d recommend doing the mill engine with punk which is 1-3 ze Amin 1-2 foxy 1 deer note 2 e telle. You make chaotic from ze Amin or e telle and then zombie vampire to mil 9 which is good for thunder dragons and you have chaotic in grave to banish to start thunder dragon plays
Would be played a little too much I imagine, right now it's only played in decks that can abuse it turn 1 like punk spright and tri, if it was at 3 the risk reward of opening driver would be much better so it'd be played a lot more

Not really interested in punk or spright. Just happy that eldlich was buffed due to some banlist changes. Still enyoy eldlich for the fact that most turns are done under 10 cards/effects.
@@nosgon yeah that's really sad tbh. Haven't played for weeks now. Locals are more fun atm because there are only a small amount of people running op decks. So far in 3 weeks played only 3 times against kashtira and runick.

Ogre is usually pretty mid but against spright it's really good because it stops gigantic. Also really good against swordsoul, flunder and ignister

i think you really need level 8 extenders for better endboards. you can go for mythic water dragon if you dont want to invest in gizmek

Love the art on punk.. does punk go well with virtual world? The art on both archetypes is so similar and meshes well
They have some synergy, kind of like swordsoul. You get an higher ceiling but you lose consistency

I hate using Psy-frames because you draw driver in your starting hand every other duel

yes, you only need to activate her once, that being said, in pure running 2 for more consistency isn't a bad idea. 3 is too much.

It’s an ok engine in virtual world, but deer note is lvl 5 and the big punks are level 8 so it can also clash
