I always loved that side look between Dean and Jeff. Just really showed the arc of their friendship
That was brilliant.
Lmao this is me and my coworker at work so hard lmao…
*”Ohh..?”* 🤨
Also just straight up calling him Craig.
He's curious
Intellectualy..
That was a detail I noticed on my second or third watch through and I was laughing so hard!
The "Setups" joke is so smart and hilarious. Alison's delivery and everyone's reaction... just golden
In a show stuffed full of incredible jokes, this might be my favorite lol
One of my favorite jokes in the show
I don’t really get it
@@random_name_was_already_taken The joke is that Annie only learned how to do the setup of the joke, but not the punchline, because she didn't attend that class. The way she says "The professor is so old..." sounds like she's going to follow it up with a joke (shown by everyone leaning in with anticipation), but she just stops right there
@@michaelhays ok, thanks
Annie going hard with that "You're just a bad grade in a tight sweater! And who the hll are you always texting? EVERYONE YOU KNOW IS HERE!" Sheesh lmao
Its Takeshi, teenage boy in Tokyo
@@Wolfencreeklmaoooo
9:27
That’s low-key one of my favourite Annie lines
In the "who's the boss" episode, when abed first answers the question to "who's the boss" as Angela, the whole class laughs and someone shouts "nerd". The second time when abed gives the presentation..and professor dismisses the class, you hear the same voice saying "good job".
A little but wholesome detail.
I never noticed, so I turned up the volume and listened closely. Several of the other classmates say good job. Pretty wholesome
I love Abed's look of genuine concern when Todd says "AND I AM FINALLY GONNA TAKE MY INSULIN SHOT"
2:16 I've Always liked the fact that the professor knew exactly what had happened the moment Abed walked into class
It's definitely not the first time it's happened
That's Professor Professorson to you
That's because he used to be a student at Greendale himself, until one day he invented a fake course to get a free credit. To keep up the lie, he had to create a fake teacher, who needed other fake classes, that needed to be filled with other fake students... and so on, and so on, AND SO ON.
It wasn't an autistic meltdown, but an autistic CAGE-down. It's fun to think that we don't know a neurotypical response to that much Nic Cage intake, but to at least know that the thing that could make the otherwise emotionally-regulated Abed Nadir have a meltdown for the first time in what seems like years, is Nic Cage.
"Dear God"
The Nic Cage scene with Abed is laser etched on my mind for all eternity!
Abed learned his ABCs, Always Be Cagin'.🤣🤣🤣
@@savingpyro 😂😂😂😂👹😂
how the cast kept it together during that is beyond me
Detective Chang makes me wish that there was a full lenght noir episode
Arizona... Hm...
It's a palomino
Stapler??
Ngl, I'll be very invested by the sheer random things that he'll consider as clues or conspiracies😂
Ngl, I'll be very invested by the sheer random things that he'll consider as clues or conspiracies😂
Abed broke the Who,s the Boss professor, but Nicolas Cage broke Abed.
"2/7ths of what I actually am"; is amazing writing 😅
"he actually is."
And amazing is pushing it.
Todd's monologue rant is the climax of the season, as far as I'm concerned
Offense taken
“Your love is WEIRD. And TOXIC.”
That last bit when Troy says "you gotta start locking the dean's door so guys like us don't get in" and then two guys like them get in, because the door wasn't locked. Stroke of genius 😂😂😂😂
That one went right past me. I did process the two security guys were analogs of the two of them... But that they entered through the unlocked door never occurred to me. Fractal!!!
"I'm so curious
Oh 🤨
Intellectualy
Oh 😔"
So good
Lol so great. I love The Dean
Arizona backwards is Arizona… it’s a palamino
Why's that guy keep staring at me?
That’s right..
I loved that episode. Coincidentally, our English class was studying monologues at the time
I love how the joke about Pierce's special gym is coming back in the Halloween episode.
Never noticed that before until I watched this video!
The professor in the Nic Cage scene with the world's calmest "Dear god."
“Highlight?” “Probably the backpack 😅”
I don’t get the joke
@@kb6900 so basically shirley was telling britta what she was describing was highlighting but britta thought she was asking her what the highlight of her shopping haul was
"it is and you can't be" has the best delivery
in the dvd commentary, they talk about how the episode ended with Abed walking on campus and you just hear a gunshot ring lol. but they decided that would be too dark, or rather they didn't want Abed to be responsible for somebody offing themself, so they have the professor pick up the book instead haha. 13:50
Abed as Nicholas Cage is one of the best scenes!
11:45 I love Todd’s speech
"Your love is weird!" 🤣
HUUUUHHHH ?
I use “its a palomino” all the time
I’ll never understand why this show didn’t make Danny a huge star.
Tribalism and chaos. That's how.
The entire cast and the writers are geniuses. Experts. But he is the best of the best.
Guys, he's pretty consistently had work after Community and was even Huey in the Ducktales remake, isn't that him getting recognition?
This show wasn't that popular
Donald Glover got popular from Childish Gambino but was already popping with having writing credits on popular shows
Wasn't like the Office where everyone got recognition, this was like the JV Office
@@troylee4196yeah even though the show wasn’t that popular, most of the people that worked on this show have become very famous afterwords, specifically most of the writers and directors from the start
I love the show, but I think it's criminal what they did to Britta's character. She started off confident, sure of herself and they made her more and more of an airhead as the show went on.
I agree! But I also hoped Jeff and Britta would end up together.
I disagree. S1 Britta is a stereotypical main heroine obsessed on truth moral high ground who resists mc's advances but ends up falling for him. Then they drop it and turn Britta into a mess of a woman, lost in what she thinks she should be and what she is. Her being silly, insecure and out of touch is great. Works really well when Annie is a driven and confident tour girl while Shirley is a woman with (seemingly) stable family.
Well, admittedly, overdosing on Nicolas Cage is extremely easy. He's the fentanyl of Hollywood actors.
I think what’s even funnier is that Cage has made a turn towards paring down his range towards films where he is a comedic straight man, such as the Spiderverse and the Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
Abed freaking out was for nothing because Cage would answer the question himself within a couple of years.
Aw, I heard that Michael K. Williams, who played the biology teacher in season 3 died of a fentanyl overdose.
Tod was better than any of us would care to admit... Turtle was gonna fry for real real, good save.
“Pierce, wake up, Jeff is gonna heal us!”
"Your love is weird and toxic"
Gay Dean. Gay Dean. Gay Deaaaaaaan. Lived in my head rent free for weeks 😂❤😂❤
If loving worms is stupid, i don't wanna be smart!
That's literally my life motto
Britta even Brittaed her motto.
This is the only show in my life I have watched over and over again. Love it
Imagine randomly turning on the TV right at the exact moment that Abed walks into class with Nicolas Cage binder, and never having seen an episode of Community...
The notches joke is missing and is still one of the best.
Well yes because these are the underrated scenes.
I like that Dean didn't try to define himself by his sexuality...
I like how many Dalmatians are in the scene.
Six seasons and a movie!
4:36 the funniest sound ever made
and by the cutest human ever
10000000000000% correct.
That moment made me laugh so hard
She absolutely breaks at the end.
I love this show with every fiber of my being 😭
As a community fan, making clips like these for a living would be a dream lol
It took me so long to understand the "setup" joke for the joke class.
The study group falling apart always has the best writing. Every single moment is captivating
This was such a great show. With the possible exception of the "gas leak" year, even in its down stretches it was had really high points. I think I'm going to watch the first three seasons over the holidays. IF Community had only gotten those three seasons, I will say that the season 3 finale was basically a perfect wrap to the show.
Jeff arguing with Annie scene was genius and I needed him to keep teaching lawyer/argument tricks.
I love community more than anyone in the world 🗣️🗣️🗣️🙏
We cant just skip over the gun in the professors desk drawer lmaoo
always be cageing
I love that half the thumbnail is Abed yelling "ENOUGH!!"
Can NBC run a Nick Cage Marathon and play this episode approximately every 4th movie?
I have watched the show 6 times, and that share look between Jeff and the dead countless times. But I've still never known what was Frankie talking about
I could be wrong. but I think that's the only clue Frankie might be something other than purely straight.
Maybe that your identity can gain you some kind of benefit when used symbolically, but it loses the power of being yours and yours alone?
That Dalmatian in the background really adds something.
Todd's whisper of "Offense taken" is the best thing about his rant!
It's telling of Abed & the professor of the "Who's The Boss" class that the former respects the latter as an author. I can't tell if it's because Abed knows he's right and he can fully rest his case, or if he's complying with the order of "class dismissed," even though the authority (pun entirely intended) of the author/professor is compromised by the rest of the class body's hesitation to dismiss, especially since they're still processing that Abed has ruled the additional speculation of the class null and void.
I freaking love this universe
The Blade grunt knocks me out every time
2:53 Abed Caging!
Professor Garrity cutting off Britta’s rant, “Good one.” 😂
Nic Cage Coppola scene is such a good scene, someone always try to replica Abed's verson of him when he's on.
I just realized Troy saying “et tu Brute” (S5E2) might have been inspired by Shirley’s saying it in the clip here at 9:48 (S3E3)
4:34 BEST. ANNIE. LINE.
EVER!!
I can’t believe they took this gem of a show off TH-cam 😞
Troy and Abed always crack me up.
In the morning? 😉
The Nick Cage stuff. Brilliant!
What a show, definetely among the best scenes
Professor Garretty is one of the only teachers directly exposed to Abed who didn’t have some sort of breakdown.
The man on the moon scene will always pop up in my mind 😂 “WHAT THE HELL!”
When the security guards quit because the dean sticks up for Chang when he causes the fire makes me laugh every time I see it 😂
One of my proudest moments is memorizing Todd’s speech
Danny Pudy, you utter genius.
What a Cage-spiral!
"ENOUGH! I'VE TALKED ABOUT THEM ENOUGH, haven't I"
"I'm one of those never ending handkerchiefs." 🤣☠
My quote on this years pride post on Instagram was Deans line about magic tricks!
"Dean, why are you here?" LMAO
I love how they just couldn’t show Abed doing Nic Cage in front of anyone else but the teacher, since they probably couldn’t get everyone to hold a straight face that long
The yam episode is spaced out enough from Todd's first episode that I never realised... Todd needs insulin, so he is diabetic. Yet, he was in the military? This is highly unusual, unless he lied to the military about his condition.
Or maybe he developed it in adulthood and that's the reason behind his honorable discharge
It should be remembered that Todd is a vet that served in Iraq... and the study group is what managed to break him.
And that since he was present for the final paintball assassin he didn’t graduate (or.. hasn’t)
@@ronaldaja341I always saw it as. He failed multiple classes and had to do a repeat year. If memory serves the moment with the turtle was a project so chances are he got a failing grade in THAT class. As well as the Yam episode. He failed to many classes and since Greendale is Greendale it makes a little sense for him to go back for a semester. Get his grades and dip
I love Abed overdosing on Nick Cage! 😂😂😂😂 I cry from laughing at this scene every time.
NICHOLAS FREAKING CAGEEEEEE
IM A SEXT CAT 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅
The clip at 0:37 is how i describe my pansexuality!
I hope this doesn't awaken anything in me...
the last one is definitely my favorite bit
There's a path you take and a path untaken...
Abed got an A++ in that class.
12:18
The timing and delivery from Joel is amazing here.
Good video, but how is this Nicolas Cage bit not talked about enough? I've seen more videos on it than any other scene from the later seasons.
The Great Ned Needlman (Stephen Toblowsky) in the final cut! I love that guy!
Dean sexuality envolves jeff and dalmatians
I've been saying that first joke is underrated for so long
I've always thought that NicAbedas Cage is one of the best moments
Ive watched this show billions and billions of times, thought I knew all the lines even, and that first highlighter bit was new to me. I watched the show on Netflix, is that scene deleted there?
I finally realized what “in a tight sweater” means
That's nice!
The palomino is truly hilarious. Chang is unreal.
The Dean’s relationship with the Greendale Seven is inappropriate but I’d hang out with him anyway. He’s chill
Effing Brilliant!
Meow Meow Beans and post-scarcity reputation-based economies has got to be an actual college course.
I want someone to make an analysis on Todd. He's a veteran, a diabetic, a husband, a father, a student. His father is dead, he has a turtle. I want to know everything i can about him
Yvette Nicole Brown needs an Oscar nod for the movie.
I wanna see the dean and the French song again. What was it about?? Jeff and cpu software ? I love this show . Still waiting for the movie .
You cut out the best part of the lab partners bit, when Annie turns in the assignment.
11:24 Todd & His Turtle needs to be credited for the 'Getting Rid of Britta' movie remix. Counterpoints welcome...
Number two is my anchor on this show and this character.
First scene is my favorite joke form the show
My favorite joke is the deans rise of the Dalmatian fetish
