    I just ran 2.0T last night. It had intercooler and basemap hondata.
    They are fast! My si has
    tsp stage 2 tune (flex fuel kit e33) cai (street), prl hvdp/fp, ark exhaust, hks bov recirculate.
    I did win but it’s honestly one of the closest race I ever had next to a stage 2 STI. I wished my dang dashcam got it!

    Hey fellow accord 2.0 here. For all the 10th gen fan boys saying a fbo+tuned Si can beat a stock 2.0 is false. I ran a fbo tuned Si on 93,im bone stock and had 2+ passengers. He lost by a car 50-100

      You'd beat a stock one. Your on flex, if you weren't you'd probably make 265whp and then it would be door to door till about 100. 2.0 should take it up top

      No offense to the SI owners. But there's no way you stand a chance against a 2 liter Accord. I'm not just saying this because I own an accord, I'm saying this as a Honda technician that works on both vehicles every day.

    • @Stormtrooper-oc4vn
      @Stormtrooper-oc4vn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That tsp stage 1 with those mods doesn't do much to the si. Besides a stock si beats a stock Accord 2.0 on a track. It's huge difference since the si was never meant to be fast in a line. Give it a tune with e85 then it's probably beats the Accord.

    • @jeffbaker2267

      @@Stormtrooper-oc4vn not if you give the accord the same tune and e85.... all the accord needs ti beat the civic at the track are anti-roll bars.. and decent tires

    • @Stormtrooper-oc4vn
      @Stormtrooper-oc4vn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jeffbaker2267 yes but that's with any car once we add mods the other car needs the same mods to be fair but only you and me agree which is the other point I was gonna make lol but let's go back to fully stock both cars. The si's weight, power to weight ratio and aerodynamics make it faster on the track. Adding more power on the car won't change those results either. A stock 2017 si has a faster lap then a srt8 dodge challenger 2008 which that car has 425hp. Now we know if you add power to the Accord it still won't be faster on the track. Again stock for stock the si comes with stuff the Accord doesnt, adaptive dampers, limited slip differential, stiffer steering, a rear wing for downforce. If the Accord came with that then it would be cool but it doesn't.

      @@Stormtrooper-oc4vn Car and driver has the SI beating the accord by 4 seconds at VIR. Now remember the accord is on shitty all seasons. Not an extreme performance summer tire. Im sure a rubber change would bring that gap a lot closer. For reference, I swapped from a stock 340TW summer tire to a 200TW track tire on my Miata and lost 2 seconds on a ~1-minute course
