When I was a child I really liked to take a train, so my grandmother whenever I wanted to walk she took me with all the patience, we walked through several stations and until I was satisfied, then I told her that it was good and that we could go home! I remember it perfectly as if it were yesterday. And watching these videos today brings back all the good memories of that time, thanks for making me happy seeing these wonderful machines !!!
Wonderful you let the trains run by and did not follow them with your camera. Excellent! Makes for far better enjoying the trains themselves. And those diesel sounds... To be honest, it's one of the best video's registering trains I have seen for a very long time.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Maison Cory i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Kyle, I'm fan of British Rail, and your videos shows here how to do it right and interesting, keep up the great work and thanks for posting, Bob from across the pond.
As a diesel engineer (maritime not trains, but yeah Venturas, Valenta, by Paxman), and colleagues worked with Deltic maritime, and Dorman Diesels was where I grew up, Kyle I enjoyed EVERYTHING about this video. OUTSTANDING.
who needs steam with 3 37`s lol...and 47`s in action...those pullmans look brand new...good rsto on them...remeber going to Bristol from Cardiff on some ,with the old corridors and compartments...best were the ones where you had compartment to urself...no corridors lol
At lasts, someone who uses a microphone with a decent bass response. So many so called 'Class 37 Thrash' videos that are so week sounding without the bass. This one had my original Apple HomePods veritably bouncing on the desk...well, not quite, but you could feel the weight of the locomotives as they banged over the rail-joints and the throb of the exhaust note. Much more immersive.
Lmfao, why is there 3 loco’s pulling 8/9 carts for? Even “single” electric locos can pull up to 20 passenger carts alone. Always wondered, are diesel trains that much weaker than electric that they always have at least 3/4 adjoined locomotives pulling at every one time
Perfect, no music, no panning, no zoom, no camera shake, just perfect..
Thank you.

Outstanding quality! I have not been to the UK, but this beautifully filmed piece makes me want to pack up and go.

Terrific sound from the triple Tractors at the start! Nice bit of action at Crewe, and unusual to see a pair of class 88s on diesel.

I remember when the royal mail train was hauled by the humble 47 it sounded so much better in the 90s 10pm on the dot chester platform 1
Wonderful photography. Enjoyed that

Great video! I am not even a train buff and I was transfixed!
Thank you very much.
Question, if the Royal Mail had power cars why was it loco hauled?
I would guess they were electric and the train needed to go someplace not electrified.
@Class 421 4-Cig 7:46 and 9:30 both 90's which is why I asked the question
@Class 421 4-Cig Bugger. OK, how about the loco can haul it faster than they can go themselves? Or maybe its AC and theyre DC? Union rules?
Maybe DB struggling for drivers passed on a class 325 ?
Nice to see so many class 37s still doing the business.
Thanks for watching.
Great video thank you for sharing...

I think Direct Rail Services just like running multiple diesels around the country for the fun of it. They never go out alone.
it's how you keep stock available everywhere, just in case
Dubbeh D. It’s only DS who do this, on nearly all their consists.
@@josephinebennington7247 saves paying for sidings or shed to keep them in :)
Excellent, loved it
Thanks, Richard.
Awesome filthy old Tractors lol.
Was that a Deltic at Crewe?
Three 37s? Overkill surely

Real proper diesel locomotives not like the crap we have now the 47s and 37s had style and panache along with a good engine sound.
