Brilliant video. This surely must be the first time ever, that a double headed Brit and A4 have ever worked out on the mainline? Especially with both in full steam.
Another lovely video well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on TH-cam bye for now Philip
8:45 That's cool effect! Looking at the front bogies of Sir Nigel Gresley as it passes, it looks like they're not moving at all! Obviously a result of the frame rate of the camera matching the speed of the wheels spokes. It not often you see that happening.
@@john45305 Its the same reason why sometimes you see helicopters rotor blades appearing as though they're static. Even though they clearly must be because the helicopter is still flying. Its just a phenomenon created by the cameras frame rate matching up with the wheels speed. If it wasn't the screaching of metal on metal would be horrific!
th-cam.com/video/jWIcVP6GRfw/w-d-xo.html Here is an excellent example of this phenomenon. Exactly the same thing is happening in this video of Nigel Gresley.
Greta Thunberg would not approve of this: SNG should have been the lead loco, as the streamlined front end would have reduced coal consumption to help save the planet! lol
on 4:15 you can see Blue Peter on the Test in the background. Look carefully...
Truly AMAZING !!!!. Thanks for sharing this gem !!!!.
Excellent footage. Thank u for sharing.👍
Brilliant coverage !! Many thanks 🤩
Great stuff! Seeing the SNG really makes me itch in terms of purchasing models, now I want both the SNG and the SNG for my model railway!
Amazing! Beatiuful video, greetings 🚂👍👋

A4 front wheels not in contact with rails when leaving not turning
Great video😊
WHY was the A4's front bogies wheels not turning as it left Crewe to the main line, Right at the end as it passed out of the station
That looks to be a trick the camera is playing on us due to mirrored wheel speed and camera frame rates 👍
Great Video
is it the camera because the A4s bogy wheels look like there not moving
Do Network Rail charge rental for that Class 321 that's still taking up space?
I’d imagine a bill is being provided to Varamis for that..

🤣🤣🤣
True but as brittannia only just back into service its perfect test for her to see if rebuild work was successful
