    As far as I know, Kirei was so stupid strong thanks to the sacraments in his clothes. Sacraments woven into the uniforms of executors that make them strong enough to hunt the supernatural and act as armor.
    But he's still strong without those. In HF, according to the wiki, he ran at 60km/h Through a forest! while carrying illya without his sacraments.
    So he could range at around 2-3 times a peak human.
    My guess is nasu humans, while still inferior compared to how humanity was during the age of the gods, can still train to go beyond normal limits without magecraft. Maybe even suzuki was like this, since he was some super assassin, making caster's reinforcement more effective.

      Corrupted Cyborg I don’t think I can prove you wrong, but the reason I really enjoy him is that for so long he didn’t want to be like that he wanted to change so badly all his life, he new what he was enjoying was wrong, he was about to kill himself because he came to the conclusion that some like him shouldn’t exist, and no matter how hard he tried to change he couldn’t do it, in the end he learned that it doesn’t matter and he should just except himself, the other reason why I like him is that he trys really hard to change and he knows it’s wrong, unlike other characters in other anime’s where they just accept it right there he try’s to change that’s why I like him

    • @horence2360
      @horence2360 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@namonaite Honestly a good contradiction to the core beliefs of a character is already a step above the usual characters you'll see in anime, that alone is enough to make them interesting, a good hook that keeps your eyes on them.
      He makes for a good foil when compared to Shirou Emiya, and his sheer determination to stay true to what he believes in, which goes in ways far beyond just talking about it and actually doing it, is phenomenal.
      You don't often see characters going so far for the sake of a dream is great, especially when they turn out to be evil.
      When the series started I essentially had the same thoughts as Kiritsugu, someone considered a professional MURDERER at the young age of 10, and has no real passion at all, is already a can of worms full of questions on my end.
      Not knowing the true nature of someone as monstrous as Kirei kotomine is rattling.

    I didn't think I would have enjoyed this video as much as I did. I would love to hear about the other fighting styles we see like soichirou rin luvia and bazzet or any non weapon type of style as those are my favorite as I did some martial arts a few years back

    • @justanunluckyirishmaninabl5178
      @justanunluckyirishmaninabl5178 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Let’s see, Rin was trained by Kirei so she uses the same bajiquan with a little more emphasis on magecraft enhancements. From what I’ve seen of Luvia in UBW, her ground shattering suplex suggests that she prefers some form of wrestling, possibly with history and ties close to her home country of Finland. Souichirou is a former assassin whose style is focused on being deceptive and hard to predict when seen for the first time. I don’t remember much about Bazett except that her gloves and shoes glowed and that she had a bolas and a spear like mystic code in her arsenal.

    • @ivanbluecool
      @ivanbluecool 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@justanunluckyirishmaninabl5178 I forgot where. But luvia van become a pro wrestler in one timeline. Rin gots great moves when fighting against caster and luvia so I'm sure given enough time like nasu said. She would easily beat many magus as she is still pretty young. But luvia I'm sure is more physical than her with grapples. Kirie I wish we sae more with his fists than his keys as he is pretty strong.
      Soichiou in ubw was great with deception able to kill medusa and outmatch saber for an instant. Besides that the only other fisy fight we got was Achilles and chiffon and Li shwuen in extra.

      @@MajorLawliet I'm surprised we don't see more martial arts as those are some of the best parts in the series same with master vs master fights. Rin same with kazuki managed to outclass a servant with modern styles lile how Kerry uses technology in zero which is pretty interesting between the old and modern styles.
      Rin was said to be able to the strongest in magus given enough time bur luvia is more physical which I hooe we see more of in el mellioi as ubw only had one fight but it was super cool.
      Hf part 2 cut down tons of kirie and illya scenes so I hope we can at least see the last scenes properly as the adaptation has a lot of ups and downs as hf is a mixed rushed story so I hope the movie at least finishes strong with some kirie action.
      I think bazzet also had a np level move as well from an artifact to help her do more damage. I always find myself more interesting in master powers instead of servant second time around seeing the series.

    • @ivanbluecool
      @ivanbluecool 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MajorLawliet its still funny how servants can automatically adjust to current times but some families shame the more modern magus or call the more advanced heretic. Its really interesting in each case even in zero where they have either old school magus or inexperience ones or a mix to the two and even modern ones second time around.
      Luvia I do hope the el mellio anime does her justice as she is a super fun character behind rin for me. Espeiclaly when they interact. That epilogue of ubw I wish was longer or a spin off as clock tower is super interesting but never directly explored during the main story.
      Heaven feel being the longest makes sense being a mix of the mirror story of sakura and illya while fate and ubw are parralel. I always wonder how the story of ilya would go as nasu joked about kalied being her route and I think a four way with her and the maids with shirou. Also I think it would have happens around shirou choosing to be Sakura hero but instead be illyas. I see the miyu snd shirou story as very similar to what the ilya route could have been with a lot taken out snd more on the siblings love like hollow.
      But cutting major character moments is never good. Ilya and kirie are major in later parts and I hate sacrificing character for one other one.
      Bazzet I meant to say having a power to the level of a np like some magus powers or shirou using ubw even as a master with rins crest. I'm glad that aspect of the story is gonna get more explored in el mellioi case files as masters powers I liked more while servants are great masters are more interesting to see each style.

      There isn't much information about IRL Li Shu Wen because 99% of his life consisted of training alone. Li Shu Wen was basically a NEET when he was younger. Since he was quite an asshole, most schools wouldn't take him in, and he basically taught himself martial arts by watching and stealing moves and then practicing them at home for days on end. As he got older and proved himself by basically killing everyone that opposed him, military and government officials took notice and starting asking him to train their soldiers. Once he began teaching he mellowed out and began realizing the finer details of Bajiquan (and Piguaquan). Eventually, he trained a child known as Liu Yun Qiao, whom he would take around Shandong to learn Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Tanglangquan, etc. Liu Yun Qiao was really the only person he had any sort of personal connection to. And then he was poisoned, supposedly because he was deemed too dangerous to live.

      Also, Liu Yun Qiao is the one that would eventually be the personal bodyguard and military instructor of Chiang Kai-Shek, and the only one that Li Shu Wen would teach the secrets of Bajiquan. He formed the Wu Tang Center for the Development of Martial arts in the 70's and his students brought their teachings of Bajiquan and other martial arts to the west. Tony Yang, Adam Hsu, Su Yu Chang (the current holder of the title "Guardian of Bajiquan"), etc. are all students of Liu Yun Qiao and their students continue to promote Li Shu Wen and Liu Yun Qiao's teachings to this day.

      No, he wouldn't have cared. He wasn't really a person with any sense of honor or connection other than that of his last student Liu Yun Qiao. The others were just paychecks to him, and he didn't even teach them the full extent of his martial arts knowledge anyways. He was kind of a psychopath IRL who only cared about practicing martial arts and anyone who stood in his way had to die.

Even at the end it was written to imply that either one could have came out on top. Kerry couldn't evade Kotomine's next attack, nor could Kotomine evade Kerry's. Kerry didn't really have time to properly aim, so he actually thought he might miss. Both were kinda at the end of their ropes.
