This. I remember being scared shitless, trying to get all the loot I needed from the shipping crates because going inside, there were a billion guards who all looked everywhere and would spot me any time I tried anything ever. You, sir, have opened my eyes. Time to be scared shitless with slightly more knowledge!
Haha, glad I could teach you a few useful things, Eric! Knowledge is power, and very noticeable when stealthing heists. Good luck in your future attempts! :)
You all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the password. I would love any tips you can give me
Trying out a rip-off Payday2 game in Roblox, they had Shadow Raid, I tried it out and there we're shitloads off roaming murkies ( about 8 ) and outside about 6 guards and the keycards would spawn on random guards and murkies, that's right, no guaranteed keycards, thank god you could carry 2 keycard at once and they didn't see the vault open.
Completely agree, notNoob! It's a very good heist, especially in how it teaches many different things to heisters of all levels. One of the best stealth heists, for sure!
No crazy vault door, or gang drung trades. No puzzles to decipher. Just you, loot, and some guards. If you feel extra you can open the vault with 2 key cards.
Awesome, that's very good to hear! I decided to start the video with the miscellaneous tips because most veterans are very familiar with the different strategies for the heist itself. Glad I could teach you a small new thing, and thank you for watching, Chandler! :D
38 full minutes of Shadow Raid? awesome also, along with Bain's murkywater container line, the music auidbly progresses to it's next "stage" when you cross the line. It's best heard on And Now We Wait, with it's little "sting" playing.
Hey there TacticalBananas! Glad you liked it, thank you very much! I was worried it was getting a bit long for a Shadow Raid video, but I still wanted to include all the miscellaneous tips, the "common" strategy for beginners, and the "advanced" strategy for experts! I've never noticed the music changes (I have 0 talent and 0 skill when it comes to music-related stuff), so I'll be paying attention to that from now on! Thanks for letting me know! :D
Thank you Icy_Tie! It is indeed a very common one, and it was also requested a lot because many new stealthers start here :p The strategy itself is very simple, so most of the video is dedicated to miscellaneous tips for different aspects of the heist :D
@@nevadaflyfisher5175 It does feel like that sometimes yeah, because there are so many on CrimeNET! If you have offshore money to spend, definitely buy it, rather than waiting for it :)
The god of stealth guides is at it again! As someone who prefers to stealth solo, your videos are an absolute godsend, and having a deeper understanding of a heist makes it far less frustrating to plan and carry an infiltration. Keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot Sauro, much appreciated! I have a very similar mindset -- the more I understand how heists work, and the mechanics involved, the more I can enjoy it :) Good to see there are players out there who feel the same! Glad you're enjoying the content, and I'll do my best to keep it up!
I’m normally awful at stealth in games. But after watching this video, I was able to steal the samurai armor & like 6 extra bags of loot. The info about stationary guards and grabbing a key card through the floor were both very helpful. Thank you.
Great guide, I’ve beaten the heist with my current strategy but I was never able to figure out a consistent way of getting the armour solo so thanks for helping with that achievement.
Thank you, RJP! Glad to know that helped. The armor is a big chunk of the experience reward, so it's definitely good to master that part when playing solo. For that reason, I decided to start the video with that, because I assumed that would be helpful for a wider range of viewers :)
Well, I've done the heist solo on DSOD now (15 bags) and I've managed all loot + the samurai armor in a duo team, so thanks for the help! Way better than before where I couldn't even find a crowbar lol
If a guard becomes static at one of the windows overlooking the vault, you can use your weapon threat to make them duck&cover. Just shoot near them with a silenced gun a couple of times; they will kneel and loose LoS to the vault. Also works with guards who become static down near the vault and sometimes half-turn around. Even when stuck, they may eventually see the open vault, but if you get them to kneel, their LoS becomes static too.
Very good point, McToast! Even when stuck, they continue playing their idle animations (turning their head left to right) which can eventually give them LoS to the vault, alerting them. Threatening them until they duck disables their idle animations completely, which is very helpful for this situation :) Interestingly, even though they visually seem to crouch, their eye level is not updated (even though they are forced to look exclusively forward, which is already very helpful). I've never checked if that is enough for the guard next to the window overlooking the vault to be unable to see it, but based on your experience, it seems like that is enough!
@@Marcmb Well damn me, I always thought their eye level dropped too. But maybe that was just how it seemed, because their FoV was suddenly so narrow. I usually do the same with the poisoned guard in The Big Bank, to get him to drop behind the couch. I guess in Shadow Raid it depends on the way the guard gets stuck. I have successfully robbed the vault at least two times with a guard being stuck at that window, they didn't see the open vault door. Love your channel btw, veteran of thousands of hours in PD2 and still learning something new every video :).
@@McToast1337 Indeed, their FoV becomes VERY narrow, so it can easily give that impression. I thought the same too, until a veteran named Rex explained it to me. I sometimes do the same with the Big Bank guy too, but the problem is that, with high concealment builds (e.g., saw + shotgun), it actually becomes a disadvantage: the fact that he's never looking to the sides, instead always looking forward (able to detect you because of low concealment) means that you have to be slower, because he's constantly detecting you!
I don't know how you do it, but this videos are always impressive, even though I knew almost all of the things, I recommend this for everyone, and all your videos in general... Such a good quality, Marc.
Thank you very much, Willy! That's a lot of very good feedback, I appreciate it a lot :) Good to know the knowledge is shown in a good format to be recommendable, so thank you for that! And thank you for watching, even as an experienced veteran! :D
Finally, got another place to secure all (possible) loots (apart from waterfront garbage drop off) and also some more accurate info about static guards. Nice work, sunshine
Have fun with that one, Cerivicio! It is indeed quite similar to the waterfront dumpster, except you don't have to kill any dock guards, so you can use your 4 pagers inside, making the heist very fast every single time :)
I'm something of a newbie (got the game last December as a Christmas present) but DSOD Shadow Raid has already become my comfort zone "this is the stuff I do to relax" heist, and I've been a very stealth-oriented player from the word go because I like how heists become pseudo-puzzles that way. Your videos on various heists have been very helpful in getting a significant number of my DSOD achievements. Thank you for this, it's been quite insightful and revealed many things I had no idea about (such as the heli spawn blocking) regarding what is easily my favourite heist. Keep being awesome.
Hey HeVi! Glad you're having fun with the game as a relatively new heister, and happy to hear that you're enjoying the content! I personally also enjoy stealth a lot more (it rewards you a lot for your knowledge of various technical aspects), and Shadow Raid is indeed one of the classics -- very fun to play at any time, and very rewarding! Glad I could teach you a few things about this heist, and I'll do my best to keep it up! :D
Thank you very much, Phase Codex! Glad you learnt something new, and enjoyed the content, thank you very much :) Scarface guide will be coming in the future! Right now I'm not sure which one I'll do next :p
Thank you so much, as I have been at this mission time and time again trying to figure out how to get the vault open in time, as well as keeping the guards away from it, but thanks to that trick of having the guard/civ drop it overhead, I was finally able to complete this after what feels like hundreds of tries! Out of all tutorials I have seen in general, it is evident you put a lot of time, effort, and heart into these videos, with the seemingly endless tips, tricks, and beautifully comprehensive editing and formatting of each video! Once again, thank you so much, and keep up the awesome work!!!
Hey B. C.! Thanks a lot for the very nice feedback, and kind words! Happy to hear that my tips helped, and you enjoyed the video & editing :) Congrats on getting that solo armor after many tries, and I'm glad I was able to help with that! I'll do my best to keep it up!
You're welcome Yer! Very useful because you have many more opportunities to kill guards in a location where their keycard drops are usable, which leads to less time spent waiting!
Had a friend who grinded Shadow Raid for so long, he says he's memorized the guard's pathing. One of the first heists i ever did, and one of my favorites because of it. I was horrible, and kept getting caught in the cargo yard. Now i can do it pretty well on my own. It feels good to be able to do heists you used to be bad at, with new knowledge. And hopefully, this guide will help me see less restarts in public lobbies. Just kidding, we all know that won't happen.
Indeed! After many, many runs, you start recognizing how the guards are moving, and you can tell where they are about to go :p it feels really nice when that happens! Easily one of my favorite ones too :) Not sure how much this will improve public lobbies, but I hope you enjoyed the video! :D
Marcmb is the absolute goat oa PD2 stealth. This man managed to take a portion of the game some people consider slow or boring, dissect it for anything he could learn, and master it so much that his stealth gameplay is as fast paced as some people's loud gameplay.
I have played 300 hours of Payday 2 alone in 2016. Stopped playing and now i wanna play again. Your videos have teached me more than those 300 hours of experience, sometimes we ourselves get overwhelmed by guards and think there's more of em than it is in reality and we start fucking up easily. You make it look so easy, and when remembering everything you teach is also easy to do so. Thank you so much for all of the videos you have uploaded, really. I cant wait to see more "ultimate stealth guides", those are always so fun to watch.
Hey Deiniel! Sorry for the late response, as I've been away for the last 3 months. Indeed, knowing the number of guards and their distribution can help a lot: knowledge is power! Happy to hear that my guides are easy to follow, and glad that they are being helpful :) Thanks a lot for the nice comment!
Yay, (arguably) one of the best stealth mission in the game, despite how simple it is. Top notch video as always (let's be real very few people know about the containee spawn manipulation at 5:00), keep it up. Cheers! 👌😎
Thank you Spotth! Absolutely true -- this heist is easily one of the classic stealth heists, and definitely loved by almost everyone in the community. Glad you liked the video, and I'll do my best to keep it up! Cheers :D
Ah yes, Shadow Raid, my favorite heist to do classic stealth solo. I think it's the easiest stealth heist to start learning proper sneaking after mastering all the clearable stealth maps. Too bad I can probably get more XP solo by just doing two Bank Heists. Even after how often I've played it (second only to Jewelry Store for card drop farming) I did learn some new things. I always believed the timer for the helicopter was random, but this makes much more sense. Also, that body bag placement after securing the warehouse for the keycard civ is something I will definitely start using. Great video as usual.
Hey there Sleipnir! Glad you liked this one, thank you! :) Indeed, it's a shame that they lowered the XP reward (back when they wanted to make ECM rushing less efficient), and they didn't consider lowering the XP if you escape too quick (like they do for Election Day, Ukrainian Job...). Glad that I could teach you a few things about your most played "real" heist, and enjoy the body bag/keycard through floor tricks! Those are very useful very often :D
Great guide! Personally I prefer using C4s as perfect markers for whole building instead of ECMs, but you have to be careful not to blow any door instead of opening it.
Haha yeah! Whenever you're using C4, you always have to be careful with those shaped charges :p Personaly, similarly to Breakin' Feds, I've never considered trip mines for this heist, because it's very easy and convenient to kill the 4 roaming guards around the relevant part of the heist. But if you're going for sneaky/pacifist runs, then those are definitely very strong! Glad you liked the guide Lord Majster, thank you very much! :)
I no longer need to go in blind thanks to you! I managed to only really learn most spawn points for the crowbar and a randow keycard, but now I learned a few more tricks. I'm getting comfortable with SR now thanks to your tips!
Haha yeah, good point Cedric! This most likely has something to do with the way the editing software calculates the timer: technically the timer was running for 606 frames, which at 60 FPS would be 10.1 seconds, but somehow the timer stops at 10.099 :p
Wow, just rewatch the video and ur a genius for the hitbox of helicopter roof landing, i spend so much time thinking the glitch don't work anymore just by being too much on the right. Hope we gonna see ass much perfect detailed videos on payday 3
btw what's the mod that show you those ui on top left corner under the objectives? maybe you covered it on other video but I can't seem to recall.. I would love to try them out, looks nice!
@@S-Kara I don't have a video on it, but it's basically just my HUD! I use a combination of _PocoHUD3_ (shows loot bag contents, ECM timers, FPS meter, IRL clock...) and _Additional PocoHud trackers_ (which I mainly use it for the 3.5s countdown before Sixth sense triggers) If you want to try them out for yourself, I have a Steam post with download links, and install instructions (as well as my specific mod settings), which you can find here! steamcommunity.com/groups/MarcmbCrimeNET/discussions/0/2279330983559406525
@@Marcmb I'll be sure to put this in a good use. I just remembered your yakuza guide video briefly explained the mods to see the hp percentage. thanks again!
Honestly, I think outside is harder than the warehouse. hears my 4 reasons why: number one: hordes of civs and guards. There is more guards and civs than the warehouse itself. Very annoying. number two: Guards don't have flashlights. For some reason, they don't have flashlights, despite it being night, and its outside. This can be a problem. since you cannot tell if a guard is at a corner or not, unless you use sixth sense. number three: civ and guard paths are a pain. Corners, bad spots, getting cornered, and the worst spots in general. number four: trip mines are useless. the outside has like 5 bag of money which isn't worth anything compared to the warehouse. I wouldn't waste a tripmine here. So I would recommend you do the warehouse first, then the outside to grab all the money bags, so you have time to ecm. and not waste a pager.
Yup, the outside is kinda bad... maybe in the future I'll post a quick video with tips to move around it (with all the guards and civs), but considering it only has 4 money (which is worth almost nothing, compared to what you find in the warehouse), and for max XP you only need to loot the warehouse, I often end up skipping the outside. Alternatively, what you say about going there at the very end is definitely the best choice!
woah, this has always been my relaxation solo stealth, ive done it dozens of times while chilling, only a portion into the video and already clearing some misconceptions. firstly the balcony door thing is neat, ive always went the waterfront garbage route and cleared floor 2 first, throwing into the south wall asset location , but i might have to reconsider that now, thanks! and too, ive been doing the heli block strat for a while, but i just thought it was a variable time within a minute or so over 5, very cool to realize now its much more static
Glad to hear that, samantha! Among the stealth heisters, this is a common choice for relaxing gameplay, because it's such a chill heist! I am glad that I was able to clarify some of those points: I personally enjoy the heist more when I'm in control of all those things, so I hope they will be helpful to you as well! :D
Damn, well spotted! I always triple-check all my texts before rendering, but this one went completely undetected! Even trying to read it now, knowing that the word is written twice, my brain completely skips the second one. Very good eye, Westar! :D And glad you enjoyed the video :)
4:18 Cloud be interesting for the game to lock a door where they have guard the idea is to attract the guards and close the door on them and they will open the door after a certain amount of time exemple easy difficulty 4 harder 2 before they start to call cops civilian are not affected
That would be a cool mechanic! However, you would have to make it seem like the door is closing on accident -- otherwise the trapped guard would just sound the alarm instantly, if he notices that someone is locking him out! :D
@@Marcmb Pager Operator: okey random guard whats the problem Random Guard: I got locked out the door. Pager Operator: oh shit, im calling the army right now.
This is my favourite heist. I have a different stratergy, i approach from the left of the main gate, take down the guard at the dumpster which i use to secure loot in. If there is another guard near the dumpster, take care of that too. If the door spawns open, that means that a murky can roam out there. I break the window near the dumpster, and throw all my loot from the inside through the window. I still learned some things from this video, like the exact spot i need to stand in to trigger the guaranteed container, and you can grab things through walls/ceilings.
That's another nice strategy yup! Breaking the window for quick access to the drop-off is very nice. I would've liked to showcase all 3 strategies but wanted to keep the video relatively short, so I settled for just a beginner strategy, and a more advanced one :p
Hey Marcmb i just wanted to say i have played payday 2 for years and have been known for my stealth skills, i know a lot of what has been said in all ur guides but u always have something or show something i never knew and these guides have helped me with a lot more information i never even knew existed, just wanted to say thanks :D
Hey X8ReaperZ! Very happy to hear that you're enjoying the content as a seasoned veteran, and glad to hear that I'm able to teach you some small new things! You're absolutely welcome, and thank you for enjoying the videos! :D
Hey Zach! Intimidating them like that doesn't actually make them crouch (although it does look like it), it just disables their idle animations (looking side to side). Their "head" is still in its usual position, so they are not blocked by obstacles like that. However, it is likely that locking their field of view (disabling the head tilts) is enough to prevent them from seeing the vault!
Hey Unwithering! Considering there's already code for a player having _two or more_ of any asset (keycards, crowbars, meth ingredients...) when another disconnects, it should be easy to allow players to grab a 2nd keycard when they already have one. The devs probably consider it a balance decision at this point! Probably to encourage crew play :)
Marcmb, thank you for this useful guide! I didn't know about the vault detection until halfway until moving all my bags a guard saw it. I forgot to bring ecms as well, so that was a great way to end a run. Thanks for the advice on loot spawns, which npc has the keycard guaranteed other than camera room and that you can grab keycards through floors. Again, thanks. This'll really help.
You're absolutely welcome, Rocket Reflector! Happy to hear that the guide is helping already :) Indeed, the guards detecting the open vault can be a very unfortunate way for a run to end. That's why I always secure all my loot before even opening it. Glad you learnt a few useful things from the video! :D

@@Marcmb Alright, thank you. I'll be sure to use it in my next shadow raid run. By the way I managed to get a good run, 3 money bags left and the vault opened but not bagged because of a misplaced body bag. I hope I get a full bag run soon
Hey 0d in! Nice to see some more old heisters who still remember that one. It's true that coke did use to spawn up there _very often,_ but it was removed some updates ago. Unlike the Framing Frame DAY3 device relocations, it was not mentioned in any patch notes, so I decided not to add it to the video, but all the spawns shown here are the spawns for the current patch :p
I've been using your videos for a long time and I'm very thankful for all your work on this game! However, I find a big inconvenience with second approach, where you kill all 4 roamers and let the cam operator live - sometimes a camera spawns at the wall near the vault and is facing said vault. I think it's pretty rare, but I had this situation once and wasn't able to open it, as it would count as "Camera detected suspicious behavior" or something. I reckon easiest way to deal with it is just to check if cameras are in good positions and don't block you in any way, then decide either to take cam operator and 3 roamers, or take care of all 4 roamers and let cam operator be. This is what I love about stealth heists - they look simple, and suddenly something like this occurs and you have to re-think your plan.
Hey szynkacz! It's true that you can often make better decisions based on the rolls that you get yup, although I wouldn't particularly worry too much about the positions of the cameras (since I often use the Hacker perk deck for this heist, so I can ignore them if needed). I just tested this ingame to be fully sure, and this camera that spawns near the vault is facing FORWARD, so it does not see the vault at all. Most likely what happened is that you threw a loot bag close to it, and that's what the camera managed to see.
@@Marcmb yeah, funny thing is, the same day I posted this comment I also played Shadow Raid and also got a camera in front of the vault but you're right, it wasn't looking at it. Either I got something wrong with my memory, or they did patch it in some past update. Sorry for making mistake in my comment, I guess game had to show me immediately I was wrong 😅
So I have been doing this heist entirely wrong xD, really informative video, I finally solo'ed Shadow Raid DSOD after ~40 tries. I love how much effort you put into your videos, hope you have a great day!
Glad the video helped, Prankster, and congrats on your solo clear! I definitely think that this approach of simply taking out the 4 roaming guards (and having complete freedom to move anywhere) is the way to go. Glad you're enjoying the videos, and good day to you too! :)
First things first: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO, I FINALLY COMPLETED THIS HEIST AFTER 2 YEARS!!! Second: I have noticed some things in my attempts, there sometimes was a keycard in the lockers behind the benches, and also sometimes a keycard on the kitchen counter. Also, I have noticed that in my runs sometimes the guaranteed crowbar 1 sometimes wasn't there. Overall great video, these are just some things I noticed, keep up the good work!
Thank you very much Lazar! Glad to hear the guide helped, and congrats on your first clear! :D As for the things you mention: the bonus keycards only appear in lower difficulties (which I didn't cover in the guide, because I teach about DSOD only!). And same for the crowbar! Since lower difficulties have additional free crowbars, one of the guaranteed ones can be removed because of that :) I'll do my best to keep it up, so hopefully the guides will continue helping!
@@Marcmb I just went to correct myself because I noticed that, but then I saw you replied. In the past couple of hours I have been trying harder difficulties and have gotten my first death sentence clear (although I missed 4 bags of loot because I got caught while transporting them), it took me about 20 attempts and I noticed I was wrong, still thank you so much, I wouldn't get near that clear if it weren't for the guide.
Well done Stefan! Glad the guide helped on this one too :p I saw some of your progress on the group chat, but I was a bit too busy to reply (hosting infamy grind). Good to see you also added some more runs afterwards to continue lowering the time after being familiar with the heist layout! Oh and definitely good call not going outside. There's just 4 money bags scattered over a wide area, and a bunch of guards that you would rather avoid... so it's not quite worth it!
@@stesmi Oooh nice! I missed that. The money scattered outside is not very worth it (as you probably noticed) but it's really fun to collect! If you plan for that, you can also use the Riverside zipline, and the Over-the-wall drop-off, to easily throw the money there!
Third completion: 13 minutes, 20 seconds, Armor + 14 pieces. Used the dumpster by the fence, as I then ran out that way. Used a combination of both your techniques, killing the guards and civs, leaving cam guard, and was jumped by two guards right as I was dumping the loot, first the guy that walks back there (the guy that can be stationary), and then by the guy that walks by the ladder you climb up in the beginning. Had PECM and ECM to rush to the end.
Much better time Stefan! With a fully fully optimized strategy (and tryharding a lot) you can aim for 5 or 6 minutes solo. It might be a cool challenge after you've done every single heist! I might upload a video like that in the future (kinda like a bonus upload) because it's a really fun "speedrun" :D Also that's one of the main benefits of bringing those ECMs even for solo! It's good that you thought about using them, because you get an additional 4,000 base XP for escaping in stealth - a huge amount that's equal to the reward for securing 8 individual bags! (500 each)
Thanks! Your videos are always the best. The editing, the style, the time stamp. I just have to say your guides are perfect. Two things I'm wondering though. I don't usually use sewer so I'm not sure, but I think you can throw the bag throgh the lower hole so you don't need thermal paste. The other thing is you can shoot near guards to force guards to crouch, which is really useful for stationary guard near windows.
Aww thank you Walter, I appreciate the kind words a lot! :D Very happy to hear that you're liking the video format :) As for your two questions: (1) You can definitely fit bags through there, yup! And by using the different manholes, you can get loot from one end of the sewers to the other without ever using thermite. Thus, thermite is only technically needed if you want to be able to _physically go through the sewers yourself._ (2) Very interestingly, even though the guards appear to crouch, their "detection point" (i.e., their eyes) doesn't actually move, so they would still be able to see it, if they're looking in the proper direction... it does prevent them from playing their idle animations though (looking left to right), so it might be good enough to keep the vault hidden from them :D
@@Marcmb Hi, Is there any chance I could translate your videos and post it on another video site called "Bilibili.com"? Just wanna spread the knowledge to players who can't speak English or can't access youtube. It's a non-profitable website and I'll credit and link your video here or in anyway you like. And it's perfectly understandable if you don't allow it.
@@walterriku6450 That's exactly correct! I didn't know either, until a veteran named Rex explained it to me! But very importantly, even if their eyes don't go lower, the fact that their "idle animations" are disabled is very helpful too :)
@@Marcmb Hey buddy, I think you might have skipped my last comment. May I ask again for your permission to translate and repost your video on other platform?
Thank you Anone! Indeed, it's always one of the best parts of this ending, or when ECM rushing the heist with a crew -- seeing the outside patrols dropping one by one, really satisfying. Also very useful for crew rushing (killing them just in case to avoid their damage) and also solo rushing (to recharge pECMs) :D
Haha as many as I can, yup! Every now and then there's a question in here, so I can help those in need _and_ get good feedback for future guides at the same time :D
Well, time to throw myself against this wall until I can consistently get it done. One step further away from being a beginner haha. Thanks for the guide!
Thanks for the tutorial bro, with some slight modifications to my own run I now farm DSOD for money effortlessly, but I still can't do car shop very hard lol
Great tutorial- overall amazing. As a 3 year player these are really helpful tips, especially with the helicopter, which i had to find out after hours of searching for tips. One problem. Num.4 crowbar spawn is not guaranteed and theres 2 other additional spawns. (upstairs near room with server and edge of warehouse near the zipline) besides that nice job!
Hey Th3W3irdBr0s! Glad you agree with these tips, and glad you liked it :) As for your comments: - Crowbar #4 is guaranteed provided you're playing on DSOD: on lower difficulties, there's an additional spawn (all the way back at the start of the map, before you jump to the roof of the warehouse) which may disable other spawns. - the crowbar upstairs near the room with server is random crowbar 3 shown at 7:29, and the one at the edge of warehouse, near the zipline is random crowbar 4 shown at 7:40!
I haven't watched the whole video so I'm not sure if this is mentioned, but if the two doors (seen on 20:34 and 21:25) are open, the inside murkies can move all the way through the outer warehouse and the docks back to the inner warehouse. Can catch you off-guard when moving the bags sometimes. Anyway, thanks for the video, fould some loot spots I haven't known about.
Hey Don! That's a very good point. The video was becoming much longer than I originally intended, so there were a few things which I decided to cut from the video (one of them being this rare pathfinding). In fact, the door at 21:25 is always open, which means that, whenever the dock guard spawns in the non-static variant (50% chance), that path is possible for all Murkies. Interestingly, I've seen a few guards exit through the front of the warehouse, and re-enter from the dock-basement connection, but never the other way around. No idea what causes this!
@@Marcmb also interesting thing: today I for the first time witnessed a murky actually leave from the dock door, so yeah, apparently they do this as well.
@@Raykon333 Oh hey Don, sorry I missed your earlier message! Only the 2nd one triggered a notification. As far as I can remember, that door had always been closed... however, a few things have changed for sure (the dock guard who used to be stationary next to the basement door is now a patrolling guard, for example), so that might have been changed as well. As for the thing about the pathfinding, thanks for letting me know! I was afraid there was something I was not understanding properly (because they _should_ be able to path both ways), so it's very good to have confirmation. Thank you!
Haha! I'm glad that it's at least looking easy Mariana, that's a good first step! Once you become familiar with all the moving pieces in the heist, it becomes a lot more manageable. Hopefully the guide will help you get to that stage!
I dunno, the "100% loot runs" tickle my funny bone a little harder, but this was still extremely well written and informative. Though given it was already 30 minutes long I see why you didn't want to do an unabridged full run after all this. EXP wise your route here is as efficient as it gets..but at some point..its for the challenge of scoring all the loot, or the glory of a bigger off-shore account. Still..I thought I Knew Shadow Raid as well as anyone alive, and you still managed to show me one thing I was genuinely shocked to discover. I never knew you could just jump on that dumpster and drop loot in at the end like that if you do a camera man alive strategy. Amazing :D
Hey Nosgard! 100% runs are definitely still fun to do. I did one just for fun, just to get a short 20 second clip for 12:27... but the video was already way too long (for what I expected to be a short video), so that one will have to wait for another day :p Glad I was able to teach you a small new thing! That simple jump makes that type of run much faster and safer, which makes this type of run (where you kill everyone except for the camera guy) a lot more appealing :D
These guides are great! I didn't tend to touch stealth (Loud supremacy baybeee) but these guides have helped me get confident and they've really helped! Also here's a quick little fun fact for anyone trying this: In a really bad luck situation, you're gonna have to be forced to wait for the orange jumpsuit civvie to get his keycard. I just tried this and the guard who became stationary was the ONLY one with the keycard and he was situated weeelll far from the vault (near the entrance of the warehouse from cargo courtyard) which meant I had to wait for that special civvie to come by, so keep that possibility in mind or just pray to AlmiRNG! Also hoping there will be a guide for Diamond Heist (unless i missed it), even though it's not even that hard of a stealth it'd be nice to still be able to know all the locations of the laptops, sapphires, and other useful tips like safe bag spots. Great content!
Thank you Hoxtinator! Glad the guides are being helpful, and as a loud enjoyer bringing you closer to stealth! As for the orange civ, there are some situations where you're gonna be forced to get him, so it can take more than 10 minutes of waiting! Hopefully you have some bags to move while waiting... I recommend setting up some "body bag traps" so that, if the orange civ walks by while you're not around, he becomes alerted by the body bag, and stops right there for you to get him! Example at 24:05.
@@Marcmb Yes, I did just that but it still took a while in itself, haha! By the way, I'm doing a written guide for the basic achievements of Crimewave Edition of the game (PS4 & XB1) and was wondering if you would allow me to use your Stealth guides to cover some of the particular achievements. You will of course be credited!
I see! Very well done in that case, and indeed it can still take a while sometimes. Glad to hear my guides will help you with your written guide! You can absolutely take as much input and inspiration, and tips and examples, from my content. I'll be happy to be credited in such a guide! :)
DSOD solo. 11/12 secured loot, grabbing the last piece of samurai armor from the sewers and i fell and downed. i'm going to have to come back for the dsod clear another session, that's disheartening. thanks for the guide ;w;
Awww that is absolutely the worst. And on the last bag, too... that is a shame. Someone actually had a similar thing happen to them (recently in the comments), so don't feel too bad about it haha! Glad the guide is helping, at least :) Also here's the tip I gave to the other heister, who also fell down the ladder: when dropping down into the sewers, always approach from the side opposite to the ladder, and walk into it: it will catch you every single time! Example at 24:40.
@@deadlybird1229 Indeed, we finally got the Comically Large Spoon! Gotta get those 100 kills before working on anything else :p hopefully the entire community gets to 5,000,000 soon!
You can actually parkour back up to the window where you initially hide loot on the 2nd floor for the advanced strategy. Just jump on the loot crate right below the window and continue up using double jumps and then just jump and catch the window ledge. It's not a massive time save, but it doesn't hurt to save a few seconds backtracking when you're already in that general area.
I assume you're referring to the jump shown here? th-cam.com/video/aEl_TKpttrM/w-d-xo.html Based on what you're saying... I did know about the jump at the time of making this SR guide, but from your comment I don't remember specifically where it would be used here... If going back up for the loot pile / helicopter block, the stairs are definitely a bit faster!
@@Marcmb I never even noticed you had a similar jump in this video must have skipped past it back then. It's just the opposite side so you end up right where the loot is might be a tad bit faster. You're right that it's still a time loss especially with yakuza, but I thought it was cool that you could parkour up there. You can also pixel walk on the little wire where the double lines are on the wall if you for some reason needed to make your way towards the camera operator room from inside the warehouse.
You're welcome Jang, and thank you for watching! Shadow Raid is easily one of the best stealth heists, and nowadays it's also one I play very often, because it's good for both crew XP farming, and solo XP farming!
Full to the brim with exactly the kind of information i needed, thanks! Ive never thought about just not killing the camera man, sub10 run with 16 bags is IMPRESSIVE! And you didnt even try very hard, i bet you could get at least sub8 with that strat
Thank you very much, yeet yeet yeet! Glad you enjoyed all those details, that's great to hear :) And indeed, if you tried to go as fast as possible, you could certainly be even faster!
That you can even learn something new to a 900hrs+ player, very nice. Oda Nabunaga would be proud. Btw I learned the second strategy, keycards through the ceiling and that you only need 16 bags (I always get everything, also outside what made the heist 20min+). Also I knew somewhere around 5min there would spawn a heli and I knew the helipad thingy. Also I knew to keep the doors closed, but that's in PD2 general. I didn't know that was causing the stationary guards.
Thanks a lot TheUnbanned! Glad you learnt some new things, and enjoyed the video :) Getting all the loot is still really fun, but very inefficient for XP, so nowadays I always stop at 16, unless I'm messing around for fun!
Thank you very much sharq! Glad you liked it :) I definitely should've shown my equipment as well... It's not ideal, but in the description I have two videos that show it: stealth build (skills) and saw build (my Shotgun and its weapon mods).
i personal use a combi from both strats. i go full loot everytime and let ppl join so they get xp and money. so my preplanning is a bit different i have the zipline on roof (so every1 is playing while securing loot) then i do strat 2 (killing all 4 guards and 4 civs basicly freeroam) and move all loot over the roof. only time when full loot isnt possible in full stealth is when server/money spawns cam room. a full loot run takes me around 25min. my strat is slower but i like it. there are few things to mention here. shadowraid usally have max 24 bags. from this 5 been outside (4x money 1x heli artefact) inside there are 15 bags (sometimes 14 if the 2nd weapons dont spawn, then there are only 23bags possible ) and 4x the armor. im really gratefull for this vid because we on ps4 have so many ppl that kill the 2 guards by the water plus camera guy (wasting pagers af) and failing because they get detected or to many pagers. i was about to do a vid but im not really good in explaining. so this vid is a blessing for to send it to ppl so ppl can learn something. thx
Hey undertaker! I really like the approach that you describe. Rather than moving the loot down, and securing in the dumpster (as I showed), you move it up, and secure it via zipline. It's a safer approach, and although it's certainly slower, it's much better for coordinating 4 random heisters, and still has the safety of clearing the 4 roaming Murkies. Very good strategy! Thank you for the comment, and glad you liked the video :)
@@Marcmb i uploaded a run on my channel if u wanna see it playing out. run wasnt good, i usally clear topfloor befor heli, guy was got bag glich and 9ther random was just bad. but the carddrop on the end was worth it ^^
@@undertaker8187 Not bad! I only had time to watch a small part so I went straight to the end because I was wondering about the roof zipline (which I never use), and it seems fun to use! Even if it's slower, it seems quite relaxing for a chill run!
Wait a sec, I can’t remember that Window in Camera Guy room, when they added that and for what purpose. Also they moved cameras to the right. Anyway great analysis Marcmb, it’s one of my favorite heists.
Hi there MADA! I honestly don't remember when the window was added, or if it was there forever. It has some uses in speedrunning (and ECM rushing), because using the truck at the entrance of the warehouse you can jump onto the window, and then enter the room through that :D It's very cool! Glad you liked the analysis for one of your favorites, thank you! :)
Indeed, Saked Nake! Nothing wrong with your game, just the guard pathing being a bit poorly programmed :p Remember to keep those 2 doors always closed, as stuck guards can be very convenient! :)
Hey Pears Apples! That's very good to hear -- good to know the sections with all loot spawns are helping :D You're welcome, and thanks for the comment!
Really appreciate those informative videos, will try a proper Shadow Raid DSOD some time in the near future, it was my favourite stealth heist years ago but the grind is unreal. Worst part is when you only have like 3 bags left and the alarm sounds :( Half an hour wasted for nothing.
You're welcome, kotzpenner! Glad you're still enjoying them :) If you've already completed Shadow Raid DSOD in the past, I definitely recommend going for the "advanced strategy" shown at the end of the video. Once you get used to it, it's a lot safer (no roamers alive, so no random alarms), and the runs are a lot faster!
Mr. Mb as the stealth expert I have a question. When doing the static guards is it normal for all 4 guards to go static, asking because this happened to me yesterday
I wish there was an insider help option in prep lambing for mark the card holders the murky guards with card would have a backpack with a unique model that’s smaller
That would be quite nice! Or at least a preplanning option to ensure *at least 1 of the patrolling Murkies* will hold a keycard, which currently only has a 89% chance to be guaranteed.
Just as a little extra, if you have Yakuza and get the speed bonus as well as regular perks for speed, you can make the run from the vault to the landing on the staircase then back within ten seconds. So as long as it's within that range you should be able to reach it.
Yup, even with Hacker too, with an example at 2:10! But you make a very good point: the more speed you have, the wider the range for possible good keycard drops, which is a very nice bonus on this heist!
As someone new to Payday 2 (playing it, at least) I had an… interesting event happen to me in this mission, especially with this video giving better details on what I experienced. For context, I completed the heist 1 or 2 times before this event, and I had somewhat quick, bare minimum tips of the heist, like the heli trick, the ecms and the stuck guards (remember this) I had most of the loot I need to escape (8 bags iirc) had both keycards ready for the vault when I need (was also attempting the vault for the first time too) I wanted to make an easy escape as I got all the loot I needed. I tried shooting the gate, but it didn’t unlock (before seeing this vid, I assumed I couldn’t after some tries) so I tried to lockpick it, meanwhile a guard saw me in the middle of it, and I had to give him some “Silent Judgement” (the name of my silenced Judge shotgun btw) Luckily, everyone was blind to this, but I wasted my 3rd pager. When I returned to the vault, I noticed not 1, but 2 guards were standing in front of the vault. For clarity, 2 guards were stuck by the time I was looting, 1 upstairs looking at a cage, and one to the right of the vault. I killed a roamer, the camera guy, and now that guard in the yard. The roamer I left alive became stuck IN FRONT OF THE VAULT, almost directly between the doorway and vault for better detail. The keycard was left right in front of that doorway, so I would get caught if I tried to go for it directly, or ran out of time if I took the long way. I thought the closed doors would make them move if I opened them, but this vid obviously confirms it doesn’t work. It came down to me choosing to kill a guard and hope or leave… I chose to hope, and I tried to calculate a backup plan, if I failed. I fired at the guard to the side of the vault door as he was behind the guard in front of the vault… he didn’t notice. I quickly answered the pager, but discovered I ran out of body bags cause of the guard from the front. And as if my gamer luck kicked in, that guard HAD A KEYCARD!!! I was able to sneak past the guard and open the vault, it was a tight squeeze between the guard and vault door, but I managed to secure the armor with him none the wiser. He did go ? a few times for the body, but for the remainder of the heist, he never noticed! I decided to go for the outside loot as I was able to stealth them with ease, and got ALL the loot, even the heli loot. Easily my favorite stealth moment in Payday 2 so far, and I can’t wait to continue watching your videos for more tips!
Very nice story, Super Joe! I'm glad that some of my explanations helped clarify what you had experienced :) This gives me some good ideas for future videos about explaining stealth concepts, because there are indeed some pesky guards that become stuck around the vault in the worst possible locations. Thank you for sharing the story, and congrats on your amazingly planned (and lucky!) run! GG :) Also, are you sure the ? moments were because of the body, or could it have been because he was able to catch a brief glimpse of the open vault whenever he turned his head around (idle animations when they're stuck in place)?
@@Marcmb Thank you, glad you enjoyed the story, and honestly, that is a good question. The head of the guard I killed was exposed slightly, from what I could tell, and the door of the vault was directly behind him, if I lined him up, his back was aligned with the edge of the opened vault door. (Hard to fully explain where everyone was in relation without screenshots or something) But for what caused the ?s, I just assumed it was the body, since he was looking left towards the body when I saw to see what caught his attention, so idk which things he was looking at. (Was too excited and nervous to really pay attention to it)
I see I see! Yeah it's just as you say: I have a pretty good idea of the overall situation because of all your descriptions, but it would be so much more clear with a single screenshot haha! But yeah, in that case, if I understand correctly, it might've been the body, or maybe the vault, or maybe both at different times (you definitely had other things to worry about, and your priority was definitely getting out of there ASAP before things went south!). Thanks again for the details, and I might make a video about similar, related things in the near future, we'll see!!
@@Marcmb Ha, no problem. Also, in between this conversation, I decided to test something with the sewers. You don’t need thermite paste to get loot out through the sewer! You can toss all the loot UNDER the bars, even the heavy artifacts. All of the bars have an opening for where water is suppose to go through. Throw the loot down the middle, and you can pick up the loot on the other side once you are ready to turn in. For example, the tunnel you go to on 20:02, when you are ready to transfer all the loot, you throw it through the hole and pick it up without ever needing thermite paste. Of course, it’s a more favorable method if you have the zip-line and the stationary guard, but it can be generally cheaper if you end up having to retry and rebuy assets.
That's correct, yup! If you just drop the bags right next to the sewer grate (even if they don't slide under it), you can easily grab them from the other side, using this opening. Even with no thermite paste, you can drop all your loot into the sewers, and get through the 2 grates on your way to the van (very convenient for no-preplanning runs). The only reason to actually buy the thermite is in case you're using the zipline drop-off, but you get the non-stationary dock guard. That's because the only free path connecting the outside and the inside in that situation is the sewers, which might have a grate inbetween. As you say, it wouldn't make sense to restart until you get the right RNG and rebuy the assets, and because of that, I just end up with thermite in a situation where it's not technically needed :)
@@alekobros2288 I remember doing that once
notoriety shadow raid easy and u can carry 2 bags from a perk lol
Love Shadow Raid. What's even better is that it's so simple yet so difficult.
The only thing I didn’t know was the 5:00 timer on the heli spawn. Even as a veteran I learned something. Good on you Marc!
Awesome, that's very good to hear! I decided to start the video with the miscellaneous tips because most veterans are very familiar with the different strategies for the heist itself.
Glad I could teach you a small new thing, and thank you for watching, Chandler! :D
38 full minutes of Shadow Raid? awesome
also, along with Bain's murkywater container line, the music auidbly progresses to it's next "stage" when you cross the line.
Finally shadow raid! The most common heist, but you uploaded it now x)
Thank you Icy_Tie! It is indeed a very common one, and it was also requested a lot because many new stealthers start here :p
The strategy itself is very simple, so most of the video is dedicated to miscellaneous tips for different aspects of the heist :D
Whats weird is whenever i want to do this heist it doesn't show up.

I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos :)
Thank you very much, AcTive! Glad you're enjoying them, thank you for watching! :D
I’m normally awful at stealth in games. But after watching this video, I was able to steal the samurai armor & like 6 extra bags of loot. The info about stationary guards and grabbing a key card through the floor were both very helpful. Thank you.
You're welcome, and I'm glad those tips helped, Obi_Wan! :D
Well done, Fusro! Congrats on the solo (and duo) clears, and I'm glad that my video was useful. Happy to help! :D
Threatening them until they duck disables their idle animations completely, which is very helpful for this situation :)
Interestingly, even though they visually seem to crouch, their eye level is not updated (even though they are forced to look exclusively forward, which is already very helpful).
I sometimes do the same with the Big Bank guy too, but the problem is that, with high concealment builds (e.g., saw + shotgun), it actually becomes a disadvantage: the fact that he's never looking to the sides, instead always looking forward (able to detect you because of low concealment) means that you have to be slower, because he's constantly detecting you!
thanks :)
Hey, im not fluent in english, what does LoS means?
Imagine the payday gang discovering the ability to hold “TWO” keycards. Unstoppable.

Thank you very much, Willy! That's a lot of very good feedback, I appreciate it a lot :)
Good to know the knowledge is shown in a good format to be recommendable, so thank you for that!

Scarface guide will be coming in the future!

@@Marcmb managed to do it today
Never thought of getting keycards through floors, thanks for the info
Thank you very much, TheL0rd0fSpace! That is very kind of you :) Glad to hear you're enjoying my fast-paced strategies and approach to stealth!
Indeed, it's a shame that they lowered the XP reward (back when they wanted to make ECM rushing less efficient), and they didn't consider lowering the XP if you escape too quick (like they do for Election Day, Ukrainian Job...).
Haha yeah! Whenever you're using C4, you always have to be careful with those shaped charges :p
Personaly, similarly to Breakin' Feds, I've never considered trip mines for this heist, because it's very easy and convenient to kill the 4 roaming guards around the relevant part of the heist.
Happy to hear that, Hey You! Glad my guide was able to teach you a few new tricks, and enjoy your smoother & more consistent SR runs! :D
Even though I’m infamy 1 lvl 100 I just completed my first DSOD shadow raid thanks to this👍
That's great to hear Texas! Glad the guide helped 😀😀

Haha yeah, good point Cedric! This most likely has something to do with the way the editing software calculates the timer: technically the timer was running for 606 frames, which at 60 FPS would be 10.1 seconds, but somehow the timer stops at 10.099 :p
I mean, it IS frame perfect tho, as in waiting one frame later would fail the time lock (and sound the alarm?)
@@skiller5034 it just locks the input, you cant put the keycard in it anymore basically.

You know your good at the game when you can list all the loot spawns
Nice nice! Not everyone agrees on the routes, but if you can follow along with all the spawns, that's the sign of a great heister!

Cannot believe how much I played this map 7 years ago and was bossing it, but now watching this it seems so complicated.
Hey messi! Everything becomes so so much easier after some runs, and a bit of muscle memory. That's most certainly the reason! :D
Honestly, I think outside is harder than the warehouse. hears my 4 reasons why:
number one: hordes of civs and guards.
35:05 "...other other bags..."
Yeah, seems about right) Still, great video mate!
Damn, well spotted! I always triple-check all my texts before rendering, but this one went completely undetected! Even trying to read it now, knowing that the word is written twice, my brain completely skips the second one.
Very good eye, Westar! :D And glad you enjoyed the video :)
Thank you i was always afraid of doing heists like these because I didn't know how to stealth them but now I do thxs

Cloud be interesting for the game to lock a door where they have guard the idea is to attract the guards and close the door on them and they will open the door after a certain amount of time exemple easy difficulty 4 harder 2 before they start to call cops civilian are not affected
That would be a cool mechanic! However, you would have to make it seem like the door is closing on accident -- otherwise the trapped guard would just sound the alarm instantly, if he notices that someone is locking him out! :D
@@Marcmb
Pager Operator: okey random guard whats the problem
Random Guard: I got locked out the door.
I would've liked to showcase all 3 strategies but wanted to keep the video relatively short, so I settled for just a beginner strategy, and a more advanced one :p
holy shit this is a good ass guide thank you
Thank you very much, MonkeyMan! Glad you liked it :D
15:25 if they get stuck here, couldn't you startle them to get them to crouch, blocking their view of the vault?
I honestly don't know what is stopping the character from holding onto two keycards
Happy to hear that the guide is helping already :)
Indeed, the guards detecting the open vault can be a very unfortunate way for a run to end. That's why I always secure all my loot before even opening it. Glad you learnt a few useful things from the video! :D

9:31 on the left by the cam a cocain bag can spawn also, i remember that very good. back at 2013 till 2016 it was my payday time.

Glad the video helped, Prankster, and congrats on your solo clear!
I definitely think that this approach of simply taking out the 4 roaming guards (and having complete freedom to move anywhere) is the way to go. Glad you're enjoying the videos, and good day to you too! :)
Unbelievably great quality. You're by far the best payday youtuber i've seen. Keep it up man
Thanks for the very kind feedback, boots! I appreciate it a lot, thank you :D
I'll definitely do my best to keep it up!
As for the things you mention: the bonus keycards only appear in lower difficulties (which I didn't cover in the guide, because I teach about DSOD only!). And same for the crowbar! Since lower difficulties have additional free crowbars, one of the guaranteed ones can be removed because of that :)
I'll do my best to keep it up, so hopefully the guides will continue helping!
I see! Glad to know that's clear now :) and no worries, it was a reasonable question!
ive only gotten into payday 2 recently and ive been putting off doing this heist because i was afraid to fail lol i appreciate the guide!!
Happy to hear the guide will be helpful, aaliyah! Good luck in your attempts, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask :)
Great guide as always, Marc! Got it on the third attempt in 57 minutes, 17 bags of loot, didn't go outside though. DS+OD.
Well done Stefan! Glad the guide helped on this one too :p
I saw some of your progress on the group chat, but I was a bit too busy to reply (hosting infamy grind). Good to see you also added some more runs afterwards to continue lowering the time after being familiar with the heist layout!
Oh and definitely good call not going outside. There's just 4 money bags scattered over a wide area, and a bunch of guards that you would rather avoid... so it's not quite worth it!
@@Marcmb I followed it up with a full run getting everything all loot, including the cash and artifact in the bonus crate.
I might upload a video like that in the future (kinda like a bonus upload) because it's a really fun "speedrun" :D
Also that's one of the main benefits of bringing those ECMs even for solo!
:D Very happy to hear that you're liking the video format :)
As for your two questions:
(1) You can definitely fit bags through there, yup! And by using the different manholes, you can get loot from one end of the sewers to the other without ever using thermite. Thus, thermite is only technically needed if you want to be able to _physically go through the sewers yourself._
(2) Very interestingly, even though the guards appear to crouch, their "detection point" (i.e., their eyes) doesn't actually move, so they would still be able to see it, if they're looking in the proper direction... it does prevent them from playing their idle animations though (looking left to right), so it might be good enough to keep the vault hidden from them :D
@@Marcmb Ohh, so guards crouching is just a visual animation. Thanks! Always learning new mind-blowing things from you.
@@Marcmb Hi, Is there any chance I could translate your videos and post it on another video site called "Bilibili.com"? Just wanna spread the knowledge to players who can't speak English or can't access youtube. It's a non-profitable website and I'll credit and link your video here or in anyway you like. @@walterriku6450 That's exactly correct! I didn't know either, until a veteran named Rex explained it to me!

bro your video is seriously amazing, really really great work, extremely helpful.
That's good to hear, kitty, thank you very much! Glad the videos are being helpful :)
Glad you agree with these tips, and glad you liked it :)
As for your comments:
- Crowbar #4 is guaranteed provided you're playing on DSOD: on lower difficulties, there's an additional spawn (all the way back at the start of the map, before you jump to the roof of the warehouse) which may disable other spawns.
@@Marcmb strange, I remember the 21:25 door having a chance to be closed many years ago. Maybe they changed that, maybe I remember it wrong.
Thank you!
Man... You make look this so easy, and I can't even look at this mission
I did one just for fun, just to get a short 20 second clip for 12:27... but the video was already way too long (for what I expected to be a short video), so that one will have to wait for another day :p
Glad I was able to teach you a small new thing!
Also here's a quick little fun fact for anyone trying this:
In a really bad luck situation, you're gonna have to be forced to wait for the orange jumpsuit civvie to get his keycard.

Awww that is absolutely the worst. And on the last bag, too... that is a shame. Someone actually had a similar thing happen to them (recently in the comments), so don't feel too bad about it haha! Glad the guide is helping, at least :)
Also here's the tip I gave to the other heister, who also fell down the ladder: when dropping down into the sewers, always approach from the side opposite to the ladder, and walk into it: it will catch you every single time! Example at 24:40.

Im so glad you made a video of my favorite heist in this game. Thanks : )
You're welcome Jang, and thank you for watching! Shadow Raid is easily one of the best stealth heists, and nowadays it's also one I play very often, because it's good for both crew XP farming, and solo XP farming!

Glad you learnt some new things, and enjoyed the video :)
Getting all the loot is still really fun, but very inefficient for XP, so nowadays I always stop at 16, unless I'm messing around for fun!

Thank you very much sharq! Glad you liked it :)
I definitely should've shown my equipment as well... It's not ideal, but in the description I have two videos that show it: stealth build (skills) and saw build (my Shotgun and its weapon mods).
@@Marcmb Great to know. I'll chech the other videos too for sure. Keep up the great work
i personal use a combi from both strats.
i go full loot everytime and let ppl join so they get xp and money.
so my preplanning is a bit different i have the zipline on roof (so every1 is playing while securing loot)
then i do strat 2 (killing all 4 guards and 4 civs basicly freeroam) and move all loot over the roof.
only time when full loot isnt possible in full stealth is when server/money spawns cam room.
a full loot run takes me around 25min. my strat is slower but i like it.
there are few things to mention here. shadowraid usally have max 24 bags. from this 5 been outside (4x money 1x heli artefact) inside there are 15 bags (sometimes 14 if the 2nd weapons dont spawn, then there are only 23bags possible ) and 4x the armor.
im really gratefull for this vid because we on ps4 have so many ppl that kill the 2 guards by the water plus camera guy (wasting pagers af) and failing because they get detected or to many pagers. i was about to do a vid but im not really good in explaining. so this vid is a blessing for to send it to ppl so ppl can learn something.
This channel is gold! Congrats for your awesome content
Thanks a lot Susten, very kind of you! Glad you're enjoying the content, much appreciated :)
this guide helped me and my friend thats new to payday actually first try shadow raid!
Amazing! Happy to hear that AlexTYH, glad the guide helped you two :D
Interesting, didn't know the guards can become stuck. I saw one standing in one place some time ago and thought something with my game was wrong!
Indeed, Saked Nake! Nothing wrong with your game, just the guard pathing being a bit poorly programmed :p Remember to keep those 2 doors always closed, as stuck guards can be very convenient! :)
Man, I did trial and error on this heist a million times, can do it 100% everytime now. Would of loved this guide years ago. Lmao
Haha sorry about that Donald! Glad you figured everything out by yourself though, that's good too! :D
Wow that's weird, I tried doing Shadow Raid like a few hours ago, only to not find all of the loot and fail. Thanks a lot dude!
Hey Pears Apples! That's very good to hear -- good to know the sections with all loot spawns are helping :D
You're welcome, and thanks for the comment!
Dang, this video helped SO MUCH, THANK YOU!
Happy to hear this helped, Clipped! You're absolutely welcome :)
You are a god amongst men, and definitely deserve more subs.
Haha, hey again Calza! Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it a lot :) Glad you're enjoying the content!
Glad you're still enjoying them :)
If you've already completed Shadow Raid DSOD in the past, I definitely recommend going for the "advanced strategy" shown at the end of the video. Once you get used to it, it's a lot safer (no roamers alive, so no random alarms), and the runs are a lot faster!
@@Marcmb Nice I will try! Thank you
@@kotzpenner Good luck with it! Once you get used to it, it's really fun to execute, and so much faster :D
Mr. Mb as the stealth expert I have a question. When doing the static guards is it normal for all 4 guards to go static, asking because this happened to me yesterday
I wish there was an insider help option in prep lambing for mark the card holders
the murky guards with card would have a backpack with a unique model that’s smaller
That would be quite nice! Or at least a preplanning option to ensure *at least 1 of the patrolling Murkies* will hold a keycard, which currently only has a 89% chance to be guaranteed.
I LOVE these guides. Awesome work🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks Anon! Happy to hear you're enjoying the content. Much appreciated! :D
I'm glad that some of my explanations helped clarify what you had experienced :)
This gives me some good ideas for future videos about explaining stealth concepts, because there are indeed some pesky guards that become stuck around the vault in the worst possible locations. Thank you for sharing the story, and congrats on your amazingly planned (and lucky!) run! GG :)
Also, are you sure the ? moments were because of the body, or could it have been because he was able to catch a brief glimpse of the open vault whenever he turned his head around (idle animations when they're stuck in place)?
