Hey Brian, been following U for a couple months, Hats off to Megan for the excellent Videos. Still have the P39 in the box, ....this plane needs reverse , I know it's the esc. What do U recommend to convert. I got it on FMS mothers day sale for$219.00. I'm retired Skywest Cpt. and getting back into RC Started in the 70"s and it took me RC flying to full scale and then the airlines. You have the best RC TH-cam channel. Nobody can compare. Just watched U build the Giant T-28...Love the Gestures nonchalant. Got to Fly full scale

Thanks for being here with us Rick, and to answer your direct question, there's a couple things you might consider if you want to add thrust reverse...
1) Avian ESC and AR620, if you want to keep the Reflex V2 - this will keep stabilizer and auto-leveling, if you need or want them
OR
2) Avian ESC and AR630, which would replace the NEED for Reflex V2, which you could just pull out. - this will keep stabilizer and auto-leveling, if you need or want them
OR
If you DON'T want the stabilizer and auto-leveling, you could go as simple as...
3) Avian ESC and AR620
Avian ESCs bit.ly/3z25S2j - find one that meets your budget, and choose size according to what's IN the plane you're replacing INTO...so if this one has a 60 Amp, get a 60 Amp (which would be crazy over-kill, but I can't recall what this one uses).

I really liked my P-39 1.2m, before the battery decided to skydiving after a snap roll. One thing Brian should try is nitro, I'd love to see that 🤣
Thanks Evan, and that's terrible!!! I know your pain, since I also had this happen on my EFlite P-39 version too - LOL - battery zigged, P-39 zagged - battery yanked out and it was catastrophic - LOL

Flaps to Elevator Mix - yes - Radio Setup (not this particular video, but in the playlist for this plane - UNBOX, BUILD, RADIO SETUP)

Sorry, I have no clue. Don't usually even try this type of "Racing" plane on 3S, but honestly, I bet she'd land a lot nicer.

We took some video footage last year, but never published it, since it was just more kiting. I need to do more this year, but now that power lines are down, I don't have the excuses I had last year NOT to launch.

Wow that thing is fast and looks awesome, love the look of the prop. 👍 How fast do think its flying 🤔
I'm gona guess 95mph. I have the larger Voodoo motor in some of my 1.2m and fly 5s getting 110mph with the same 4 blade prop. Change the prop to a 2 blade 11x10 and it does 120mph on 5s.
It's close too 100mph, but didn't test with GPS
