- Back out looking for some inland sites to find some Carboniferous fossils. This time near Sheffield in the hope that we can find some plant and invertebrate fossils that are 350 million years old.

Got to say, your wedding ring design is very nice too.
It's was gorgeous even with the intermittent rain.
Thanks for the comment on the ring. My ring is tungsten carbide (same stuff as all the preparator pen tips) and something a bit different. Thought about one of the crazy rings with dino bone but couldn't justify it. My wife went more traditional though 😂
Always interesting to look at other sites Andrew ,Carboniferous has some lovely fossils
Was fun to explore somewhere new. Hoping I'll find one that has better fossils soon!

well I learned you can find plant material in nodules. Good on you for trying out a new spot!
The Carboniferous has its own nodules which preserve fossils. There are some gorgeous invertebrates from the site over the years but sadly not for me that day!
