First off this is a dream home and location, but shout-out to my good buddy Mikey for making sure that when you guys show these abstract and rare tubs and sinks we always for the most part get a shot of the water turned on @ 40:15 and flowing, always so satisfying in these tours haha!

I’ve been an Enes fan for years, the channel isn’t the same without Mikey. Seems so dull now.
Imagine paying 47M to be glued to your neighbors left right and center + having a visually polluted view with hundreds of other people’s boats and their noises 😂. I’m all for a waterview front but this one is definitely not for me

@@DaveP-uv1ml I agree with some of your points but I wouldn't say we don't have insects around here. I have never lived in Newport Beach but I've stayed there for days and weeks at a time, in the Newport Coast hillside area.
Huge sliding glass doors are really nice but insects will come around (nothing close to as bad as FL). There is also an issue with mice in the hills.
I lived in a 12,000 sqft Malibu house on Point Dume, Malibu for years (wasn't owned by me). Just over an acre for each lot on that street but the homes were mostly side-by-side. Something I notice is often overlooked by people in the comments of these videos is the fact that we're talking about very big homes. It's like a football field next to another football field. If you're in the middle of your football field, people in the middle of the other football field are not going to hear a thing.
The videos don't do justice to the real-life feel of very large homes. When you're there on the ground, walking around the backyard, it doesn't feel as close as it appears to be in these videos.
@@DaveP-uv1ml Yes and no. Some large homes only have 4 or 5 bedrooms. They are really large because the rooms are all big.
I know it’s common for people to assume wealthy people in big homes are all unhappy. Definitely not always true. Money and material possessions only serve to enhance what’s already there or what would be left if the money was gone.

I've seen so many luxurious houses on TH-cam. And every time when I watch them I think: "Wow! This house is gorgeous! Probably I would like it living here"
But this one felt different. Like "This is my dream house!" It really felt like home, if you see what I mean.

This house strikes a great balance between contemporary design and feeling comfortable. There are lots of interesting features and textures that never feel out of place or gaudy (except maybe the powder room and carbon fiber bathtub). Too often, contemporary CA homes feel sterile and office-like. This is a house I could see myself living in.

I absolutely LOVE this home, Enes! So many of the houses that you showcase, while being huge and beautiful, seem rather cold and hotel-like. They are so extravagant that they don't feel like a home. THIS house looks and feels like a home and while beautiful and elegant, it looks homey, comfortable and you can just tell that the owners are real, down to earth people. I loved that you included the commentary by the owner. As a mid-westerner from Wisconsin, I identified so much with his down to earth attitude and demeanor; you can just tell that he's a "regular guy". When he was speaking about himself and his wife and said that they started with nothing, I can believe it because the home reflects comfortable elegance without being overly, wastefully extravagant for the sake of extravagance. The design of the decor doesn't scream "look at how wealthy and important we are"; it says, "welcome to our home, come on in and join us"! I loved everything about this video and this home and I'd bet if you joined these owners for cocktails and conversation, you'd find them to be warm, down to earth, regular folks just enjoying their friends and the fruits of their labor! I wish them all the best in their lovely home on the water :)
Enes and Cody ( I read Cody means "helpful" that you are Buddy) what a magnificent home. Everything about it is just so peaceful and comfortable looking. The outdoor views are so precious, I can't imagine what the morning wake up there is like. Mr Gray, your voice alone is soothing, I see why this home is so impressively designed. I've visited New Port beach in the past, the people were so cordial, it was unbelievable. I did enjoy your home, great job and to Mrs Gray as well and all involved, amazing 🏆💎.
Not a fan of how close the house is to the street, but the ony waterfront I care about, is either a lake with endless waterfront views, or the ocean and sea

Sorry, but I wouldn‘t pay $47 Mio. to live door to door with others. I think there are much better neighborhoods than this one. Even tho it’s Newport Beach.

Absolutely incredible home and fantastic tour.
Generally I don't like properties that start off with a smaller space because of how cramped it feels, but having the vegetation either side and no ceiling makes the space feel much more open and the wider space you move into that much more enjoyable.
47,500,000 is a bit steep i think, ill take it for 15,000,000 at most

I'm fascinated by the idea that wealthy people would be so willing to live "on display" of hundreds/thousands of people they don't know. Seems like a major security risk.
Yep, told my wife- look, you have 105 ft of no privacy, and plenty of spots for people to jump from their boat to your house.
Very few homes shown on these channels have the privacy I'd want if I was rich.
I'd need enough land and trees that you couldn't see anything within 100 ft of my house so I could be outside and still always be private.
Even the drive up to the house, I wouldn't want anyone seeing into the house, or into any outside space that I'd be hanging out in.😄

Goodness me. I am devastated that I forgot about this channel for at least an entire year, when this was easily one of my favorite TH-cam channels!!! I had a problem with my own channel a while ago, so I deleted and made a new one. You were maybe the only if not one of the few channels I forgot to go and resubscribe to! I have so any videos to catch up on!!!!! That is the only good thing about not being with y’all for the last year! Omg.
I like that the house is elegant and simple at the same time. There was nothing too extreme. It also has a great view. I would love to have either of the boats too. Great job as usual on the production side of it. I like that the camera man kept silent this time.

Like the owner said... "WOW"was my first impression. What a property. Well thought through and so many different materials and designs. A stunning piece of Art. Very beautiful. It must be a very bold feeling to be able to live in a house like that. I love the house as it is, the only thing I dislike is the amount of TVs. Every room has a giant screen on the wall.

Nothing against the other camera guys.... but one of the things I liked about your channel that made it different from everyone else was the conversations you'd have with Mikey. Taking these tours with Enes & Mikey of these amazing homes felt like I was with friends....you know Enes is the sophisticated friend from College and Mikey is that best friend from high school.
