The truly hilarious part of this ending is that the entire family were on her side during the slide show, understanding nods and truly feeling her heartbreak.
The entire family knew she was a psycho the moment she stepped through the door, and were A-OK with it.

“Wish me luck”....Addams clan: “Good luck!” HAHA They say it with such optimistic cheer, proving that even as dark and macabre as they were, they were genuinely good people who meant well.

Like if there is a newborn and someone is saying how they got one of the parents eyes I’ll say “Gomez take those out” or just like this scene with Debbie if someone is talking about buying expensive things I’ll be like “Sorry Debbie no mercedes this year..we have to set an example” lol.
7:41. Fester's face as Debbie's getting electrocuted is an underrated part of this. That he's just having a ball watching it happen. Chrstopher Lloyd's facial reactions in both movies are just pure hilarity.

1:03 I never realized how poignant this moment is. Morticia has always been about suffering and the macabre, even when it came to her own family, but in this moment - faced with the sickness of her child and the death of her husband - it brought her to tears. This pain was not pleasurable for her. It really is a different story when you're faced with the reality of loss.

That air plane scene was the last shot of the movie, it was added after preview audiences disliked the idea of Amanda being burnt to death.

However, I was surprised and confused as to why Debbie didn't include Pubert in the group where either she forgot about him, or there weren't enough chairs and she was going to electrocute him next if she succeeded in killing everyone else, or she decided to skip him with him being very cute and hoped to raise him as a henchman.

+TheWitchvortex That confused me too since they play along in those electric chairs electrocuting each other and Debbie herself saw Fester getting electrocuted in the bathtub and she even saw that he didn't die where she blew up their marriage home. I'm guessing they are just acting scared making it believe that they will die when all of them including Pubert can't die from electricity where if she succeeded, they probably would have acted dead or they would have said something like "you thought you could kill us, huh." However, someone mentioned that the whole Addams Family members can die but, they just have very strong bodies for pain where they have to be killed in the right way where on the first film, Morticia showed Fester (who was still Gordon Craven) other family members in the cemetery who have died. I'm not sure if stabbings could kill them since Tully Alford cut Gomez's hand with a sword on the first film.

Debbie was a indeed such a perfect addams, just remembering that morticia was only resilient to pastel colors, makes super sense to me! Using pastel color is like faking or pretending to be good, which of course she wasn’t.
So the Addams wore black because even though it’s a cliche it kinda represents the lugubrious and craziness of them. They are never pretending or trying to fit into society. That’s why been a sociopath was not a big deal for them, even trying to separate the family could have been forgiven… but faking, nope honey.
