    About Swami Sivananda:
Swami Sivananda Saraswati (Kuppuswami, 1887 - 1963) was a great Yogi, Monk and enlightened Guru who lived in Rishikesh, India. He was the founder of Divine Life Society. He is one of the most renowned spiritual Gurus of India.
Swami Sivananda was a prince among men, a jewel among saints. Service, wisdom and love were the weapons he used to conquer the hearts of men. Swami Sivananda did not found a new religion, nor did he develop any new rules of ethics and morality. Instead, he helped the Hindu become a better Hindu, the Christian a better Christian, the Muslim a better Muslim.
There was an enduring power in Swami Sivananda - in his thoughts, his words and his deeds. He was the divine power of truth, purity, love and service.

Please support sanatana Hindu Dharma to save our glorious knowledge culture and traditions so that coming generations could also benefit from it. All this knowledge source is our sanatani hindu Rishi Munis. Save India and Sanatana Dharma from forceful izlamisation conspiracy by many dangerous Izlamist organizations with ties to Muslim brotherhood. Recently in Bihar such a conspiracy has been caught by police which mentioned 2047 as deadline to finish Sanatana Hindu Dharma from India.

      Jiddu Krishnamurthy says:
"After the end of suffering comes tremendous passion which has nothing to do with Desire".
Suffer through the pain of rejection/ loss. Accept it and sit through the feeling of it in totality. When you are through, you will be passionate by nature, not for any particular desire.

I dont't mean to offense anyone but...India Is a land with so many sages and realized souls, so why is there extreme poverty? Or is that just part of Maya's play?

Yeah good question, as an Indian I often ponder over it, but never get a satisfying answer.

Poverty and suffering exist in this time because that is the way it is meant to be. India was not always so and will not always be so. Having said that, keep in mind that poverty has as little to do with the path to greater consciousness as material abundance. For the seeker, all that matters is the truth. To expect to find it in a bed of roses is as mistaken as to not expect to find it in a pit of worms.

@@Teskooano these knowledge India haters will never understand because their perception has been built by Western media is that India is full of poor and only slum. They have not seen Delhi Mumbai Bengaluru like cities that's why they don't know the truth. Also Indian economy is Fifth largest in whole world ahead of Britain and France like countries and fastest growing major economy which will soon overtake Germany and Japan to become third largest only behind US and China. India has more billionaires than many European countries. See the reality with your own eyes

This is second hand information from someone trying to look like Adi Shankaracharya.
it is not coming from a place of stillness. Refer to current realised world teachers like Eckhardt Tolle.
