Fun Fact: If you don't fix the ventilation, then you'll start hallucinating and you'll see multiple Springtraps in the cameras with almost no way to tell which one is real.
@@gorchillatheman-gorilla438 the game reveals that spring trap = purple guy aka william afton. you might be thinking of the other purple guy who got scooped, that’s michael
Markipllier replaying the entire Five Nights at Freddy's game is like reuniting your old friend who haven't seen you for a long time. The strong sense of nostalgia is stronger in this one.
One of the more subtle things I love about this game is how, if you're playing it blind for the first time, you hear the training tape briefly mention that the animatronics are programmed to go towards sound, and so your first thought is "ah, that's the explanation for the audio mechanic" But then you get to the springlock death cutscene, and it hits you that Springtrap isn't following the noise of a child because he's an animatronic programmed to do so- *He's following the noise of a child because he's a man who has killed them before.*
T H I S. The revelation that the reason his movements are so different from the other animatromos and the way he STARES you down is because he is Hunting you. Goddamn.
actually, Afton isn't going towards the sound of the child. He knows you're trying to trick him, the suit itself is programmed to go towards the sound of children
i think william is smart enough to notice you’re just luring him away from you, i’m convinced it’s a thing of william fighting the suit’s programming, he knows you’re in the office but spring bonnie is programmed to go where children are.
I would say that it makes sense because he's a calculating serial killer and nit a tortured little kid. But the existence of fnaf 4 was mainly because scott agreed the jumpscare was unsatisfying, so it's not like it's intentional lol
@@N.I.A23 Yes, the reason why Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy flail about and scream is because: 1) they are tortured souls of children who don't know how to kill (maybe don't even understand the concept of death) and/or 2) they are trying to appear threatening or are so overcome with rage (because they think you are William) that they just lose it. Springtrap is different because he knows what he's doing, he knows how to kill, he's done it before.
I know many people didn't like Springtrap's jumpscares because they felt underwhelming, but notice how, compared to other animatronic jumpscares in the series, he moves more like a human, hinting at what he really is (or used to be)
@@zerotodona1495 You are, and that's partially why. He wants to kill anything that twitches, and the fact that'd you'd scream for mercy from your father is just delightful to him.
I sadly can't take the jumpscare seriously..he casually scoots right in next to you, and I find it hilarious. I think that's why people find it underwhelming? Because he doesn't really do anything to you.
I like how mark is actually using his brain and planning on how things work. If you watch his old gameplay, he tanked every hallucination and error head on and brute-forced his way to 6am
Yeah, I think this is the difference between Mark playing up for the camera vs how he actually is with gaming. The guy is smart, but watching him silently play a game 10 years ago wouldn't have been good for views so he had to act a little bit. Now, he can more or less be himself which is far more relaxed and focused with his fanbase which is perfectly established now.
Mark: You should play this game correctly and not shove him in a corner *Also Mark* : Terrified of fnaf vr and glitches the game so bad that spring trap literally leaves the map
Springtrap, in my opinion of course, is one of the most terrifying animatronics of all. When he is outside of your office, staring at you through your window, you aren’t looking into the dead eyes of a machine possessed by a confused, angry child, you’re looking into the eyes of a calculated murderer. He isn’t here to stuff you into a suit, he is here to kill you. …you’d die either way, of course, but he’s just much more calculated than the dead kids, I would imagine.
And the fact he hides himself in the cameras or around the corner of your door, making sure to be only just barely visible in most of them. He's totally messing with you the whole time, he's not just trying to kill you, he's having fun.
@@salt_factory7566 he's not tricked by BB, it's the programming in the animatronic part of the suit kicking in and forcing him to walk towards the sound.
@@salt_factory7566 animatronics are programmed to entertain children, so when they hear a child's noise they immediately go there to entertain them. Since William is locked in a suit, he is forced to go there wanting or not.
I always liked how malevolent and intentional Springtrap feels compared to the others. The others seem like tragic tortured souls that can't really help what they are - Springtrap seems like he's out to kill you because he hates you. I think it feels that way because he seems so much more intelligent and deliberate. Least scary jump scares, but conceptually I find Springtrap the scariest.
I used to hate how Springtrap wad the only animatronic, but now I love how it emphasizes him. He is the catalyst in this story; he deserves the spotlight.
I also like the stares he gives you when he can actually see you. When the childeren in the past games are looking into the cameras they look sad and depressed, but we see it as scary or malevolent. In this game springtrap just gives you the coldest gaze through the windows and doesn't even see you into the cameras cause he doesn't have a reason to.
I actually find his jump scare one of the scariest in its own way. It’s a very casual and threatening step towards you that immediately says “you’re dead”. And I find that to be incredibly eerie. It just accentuates the difference between him and the other animatronics.
This is true. I've always found him scarey simy because of the fact it's the rotting corpse of a serial killer who has killed countless kids who stuffed himself technically inside of a rotting spring Bonnie suit that killed him due to the spring locks and is now out to kill you. That alone is terrifying
tips! - when springtrap stares through the window, you can still lure him to cam 02 if you're quick enough. - when springtrap is in a room with vent access, preemptively seal it. - at 12am, no phantom animatronics can spawn apart from foxy and springtrap cannot enter vents. - when you need to reboot the systems, never hit reboot all. it gives springtrap ample time to reach the office while you're still waiting. instead, do it one at a time while luring him away in between reboots. the audio is your top priority, followed by the ventilation and finally the cameras. - *this is not a question of the fastest way to reboot every system. it is a question of the best way to keep springtrap away from you for the entire night.* before leaving a reply, ensure you've read this bullet point at least twice. it will be on the test. - do you hear the whistle at 15:40? it plays when springtrap is in cams 05-04-03, and plays distinctively louder when he's in cams 02-01 and in the hallway to your office. it also plays when phantom freddy is in the hallway, or phantom chica is in the office. - phantom freddy can only spawn at the top of every hour, and he's guaranteed to spawn at 4am if he hasn't already jumpscared the player. - to avoid getting jumpscared by phantom foxy, don't look at him and just open the camera monitor. - there is a flat 1/7 chance for springtrap to ignore an audio lure. it's just good to know so you aren't caught off-guard when it happens. - once springtrap gets to cam 01, he can't be lured to any other cameras. the only thing you can do is keep him there. this advice applies to all nights, but is focused on night 6.
That's why i like fnaf 3, they don't tell you this on phonecalls and you it learn by understanding springtrap behaviour and habits while you play It gives you those "YOU CAN'T TRICK ME THIS TIME" moments
Something that's SO creepy about Springtrap, is that he doesn't MOVE like an animatronic when he kills you. And his gaze is much more focused, which makes it SO horrifying when he lurks at you from the doorway. I really wish they had a few more animations of him in the game. He's 100 % the scariest character of them all!

Watch FNAF: Everything You Need To Know by footofaferret and that goes over all the lore we KNOW. it leaves out any theories so it's pretty much base lore, it has nothing about remnant(very vague lore about how the animatronics get possessed) or motives of characters. most of fnaf is theories so you'll have to look for that stuff. matpat has been theorizing for years and years and years now so if you wanna do a marathon, you can do that too. most of it isn't correct until you get pretty far into it, but some correct theories are buried in a few videos years ago, that's what makes it hard to get into. the fact that most lore is talked about once and doesn't have a lot of people talking abt it later. i am pretty much an encyclopedia so ask away if you want!
I'm glad Mark played this again while trying to be fair about the game even tho it's his least favourite from the main series. It's the right thing to do :)
@@shirousagi9530 Agreed. Mark doesn't like bashing anything that people clearly worked hard on, but SB was lacking in several areas. It wasn't even a little bit scary.
Tbh it feels perfect that Springy boy is unpredictable. He's not an animatronic following programming or a child being fooled. He's a hardened serial killer who knows to play games with his victims, unpredictability is his thing
His jumpscare also makes sense. Although i’m a bit sad how not-scary his jumpscares are, they do make sense. He’s just a human (a dead one, but still), he can’t just body slam you since his entire body is in agony from about fifty different metal pieces in his body
@@ThatSmartTH-camUser Not only that, it's also an indication of how he would just walk up to children to lure them away. It's not like he bolted right for them and snatched them. He had to be quiet and subtle about it. Which. A rotting corpse inside a suit isn't subtle, so he's kinda failing here, but he's trying.
I love how he actually finds the mechanics of the game by exploring the cameras and minigames instead of just playing the audio at 8 and resetting the audio, this is why Markimoo is the king of FNAF.
This really might be my favorite FNAF. The fact that it's just one-on-one feels way more intimate and cool. Also Springtrap is just an amazing concept and design.
Okay, it's not that he's doing these *just* to promote Space. It's that he's trying to pull in an even BIGGER audience, i.e. old viewers who forgot about him, people who stopped watching youtube for a while, etc., before the release. Genius, really.
It is a working strategy regardless, i mean I dont tend to watch him anymore yet here i am a returning from the different relms of the internet and finding out about this space thing
That happens through all of the games with a lot of streamers and youtubers. It seems that some recording software really hate the snowy static effect. It happened in Mark's other fnaf playthroughs too.
Its unfortunately a limitation of TH-cam video compression. Lots of small moving objects need lots of detail which has to be taken from areas of the screen that are not moving as much and thus deemed less important.
It's called bitrate. Basically TH-cam will dynamically lower the video's quality the faster that pixels need to be updated. They do this to alleviate the amount of bandwidth it takes to stream the video. Confetti is notorious for killing bitrate, and the death static in FNAF is much the same.
I think one of the major reasons why Springtrap is probably one of the most memorable antagonists is because of just how different he behaves from the other antagonists in the franchise. The battle of FNAF 3 is not just trying to micromanage animatronics that are on the fritz but is a game of cat and mouse against a genuine person that has retained all their mental faculties despite them having died. I think the gameplay excellently captured that aspect of being trapped in a building with a malicious, cold blooded murderer that is trying everything to get to you. Edit: And then there's also the whole aspect of his presentation too that conveys his nature. His fluid, controlled movements during the jumpscares as opposed to the shaky, jerkiness of the other animatronics seen throughout the franchise conveys his much more human condition and it makes him all the more unnerving. He's something more familiar and identifiable to us but is also much more sinister.
Honestly I find 3 to be the scariest due to 2 primary factors: 1. Atmosphere, its just such a creepy unnerving environment. 2. The lack of doors/mask with one and 2 you have this easy "safety button" that will protect you from most harm you can't use it forever but it gives you at least a brief moment of safety but in the 3rd you just have to try and lure him away which doesn't give you a sure fire safety there is still nothing stopping him from strolling in and killing you
Despite watching Mark play this game before, I never noticed how fast Springtrap moves. When Mark is rebooting the camera systems at 42:11 you can see Springtrap run by in the corner of the window. So creepy!
11:35 "...As accidents/injury/death/ irreparable and grotesque maiming, can occur-" *actual SpringTrap groan can be heard right after this quote.* I've heard of lore but that's just crazy how that lined up with the call so well.
Mark: *Talks about how Springtrap should not be shoved in a corner* Also Mark, during Help Wanted: *Shoves Springtrap into a corner and mocks him mercilessly*
This was definitely the most anticipated game in the franchise as a whole, so at the time a lot of expectations were put on it, as big as the fan base is now I don't think any game will ever come close to having this amount of hype, it's not a perfect game, but it's definitely one of the best in terms of atmosphere and lore in the franchise
I'm guessing you mean hype within the FNAF franchise? Because the hype for this game was nothing compared to a lot of other games outside of it. I would agree it had the most hype for a FNAF game though.
I feel this game is really underrated. People tend to look back on it as the worst but the camera mechanics are the best of any previous games, it has a great atmosphere, and as convoluted as the minigames were they were really cool
@@jynxezoir370 Okay, but it is better in design than 1 and 2. In FNaF 1, you only really ever had to look at Foxys Cove. Same in FNaF 2, but with Puppets room. 3 actually forces you to look through the entire facility, there was actually risk of the cameras turning off, and hazards that can be triggered by looking at a camera at the wrong time. It actually does what FNaF 1 aimed to achieve, and made you have to really *rely* on the cameras. It's perfectly designed for what its intended use is.
I think the sounds and silence make the atmosphere really eerie and creepy, I guess that’s why FNaF 3 is probably my favorite/least favorite game (at the same time) in the series, though I do love all of them
Everyone hates this game; but there's something terrifyingly creepy about Springtrap hiding outside the door and peering in. It always gives me an unsettling feeling every time I see it. Such nightmare fuel.
i actually had a nightmare about it over a month ago, i was in the office while some kid was hiding under the desk. i could hear him approaching, he was trying to say something but i couldn't understand. he peeked into the office like that and i remember trying to protect the kid by hiding them from him
Nah, not everyone. Lots of people enjoy the game, like myself, because it's difficult but not reliant on a gimmick that is impossible for HALF of the player base to enjoy. Like Fnaf 4, which uses exclusively sound, which many people can't identify or even use effectively. At least Fnaf 3 HAS a visual choice for all its jumps.
Im pretty sure people dislike it because the jump scares are bad. But tbh most of the fnaf games had shitty jump scares. Aside from the fourth one and sister location
When this game originally came out, it was definitely the scariest in my opinion. The fact he's not 'there' in the first night lowkey had you wondering if he was actually there or not the game is so damn ominous, and tense.

Agreed. Scott is not the best person but his voice acting for that line is incredible, you can hear the happiness in his voice with a little bit of sinister.
the concept and execution of springtrap is unmatchable in its horror. a person maimed beyond recognition, kept alive only by the machinery holding his rotting body together, and on top of that, being trapped in a building alone with him… horrific. scott is truly a genius.

At almost 50 minutes in, Mark talks about audio cues and enhancing the experience vs helping you play the game. Scruffy makes a really really good video (if I remember right he made more than one) about how sound enhances FNAF, what helps and what hinders you, and how to read the sounds. Absolutely worth the watch, I was fascinated by how much I overlooked sound effects during games :)
Scruffy's videos on the topic are incredible and sparked my interest in sound design. He talks more about FNaF 1 and 2, but I think he mentions 3 in the second video. Well worth a watch if you get the chance.
I think I might have figured out the canonical reason for the audio gimmick. As Phone Guy says about watching the cams to make sure no one steals or makes out in a corner, I think the BB audio is to add to that. In case the Security Guard sees any of that, he could drop a "Hi!" Or "Hello!" To make them stop. Obviously, it isn't used in that way in game.
Missed the livestream but I love the feature of why spring trap goes to the balloon boy audio- he murdered children in his past life and when I heard that I thought was so creepy and love that detail. Spring trap is scary af if you think of a decaying corpse rotting in a suit and slowly glueing itself to the suit from decomposition. I’ve seen some good rendering of this dude people have created and oof it is scary.
springtrap follows the audio because his suit stops him from going anywhere training tapes literally explain this in the tapes phone guy says that that springlock suits while in animatronic mode they follow sounds so this is basically what happens purple guy wants go somewhere but his suit is in animatronic mode so he cant resist the suit and follows the ballon boy sound cue

@@Northerncantaim The game itself. As the other guy said, the tapes themselves literally explain how the suits in animatronic mode go to wherever the party is to perform. A running thing in this franchise is that the souls don't have full control over the animatronics, the programming of the suit takes full priority over what the possessor wants. However it also seems that the soul can influence what the animatronic's programming perceives. We see this in the basic animatronics, they really do stuff you in a suit just like phone guy says. The animatronics actually see you as an endoskeleton without a costume on. But then why do they not see other adults as that? Because the souls change what the animatronic sees as an endoskeleton such that you look like an endoskeleton to them.
After 7 years, This game was how i knew and met my king, and So Many memories at that time. Thank you My king for play this game again to entertain us now as an adult.
So, an easy an usually reliable strat for this game is to atract Springtrap to CAM 10 and close that vent as soon as possible, if the audio breaks repair it on the left panel. Then, you should stay on the LEFT side of the office. This prevents Phantom Foxy (the most anoying phantom) from appearing, as him spawing is somehow related to being on the right side of the office and specially the cameras. When Springtrap moves he makes some noises, wich can vary a bit but If you pay attention you make them out without any kind of problem. As soon as you hear that, go back to the cameras, wait a second and play an audio back on CAM 10. (If you do it very fast he might not "hear it" wich can make you loose time/audios/make him get out of the "trap" wich is not good at all. If it worked you'll see static on the camera when he moves back. You should use the time before he moves again to go back left to reboot the audio so you don't run out of them at a bad moment. Repeat this when he moves again but in the left panel repair the ventilation, the next time reboot the cameras and then repeat the whole process. If Springtrap climbs on the CAM 10 vent you've hitted a jackpot as he will take a long time to get back out and then out of CAM 10, use this time to reboot all of you'r sistems, or at least audio and ventilation. Remember to use the monitor as least as possible and to be most of the time on the left side of the office. If you do this right you can even complete night 5 without even seeing most Phantoms, only Phantom Freddy and Phantom BB should appear sometimes. Phantom Foxy can appear once or twice If you check the cameras too much or If you are unlucky so be careful when turning back, If you barely see him go back to the right and flip the monitor twice, that should make him go away. Remember that as the nights go on you will have less audios before they run out and the cameras will last less so be conservative with those. One last thing, If you have Springtrap under control and you start to hear that weird sound probably it's just Phantom Freddy appearing, just look at the left panel or the cameras until he goes away and that's it. But If he's not there, Springtrap might be closer than you think. Sometimes a fake Springtrap appears on the far out cameras, specially If the ventilation is failing so look out for that, it happens rarely tho. The biggest issue with this game is how hard it is to see springtrap on most cameras. Aside from 8 and the one where you can see his eye. It's borderline impossible to make him out.
That, I think, is what gave this installment the creep factor it would initially lack by making Springtrap completely visible. The question of "is that him or am I crazy" is what makes this tense.
I'm fairly sure that was done on purpose. The Phone Dude warned you about anything that may be hiding in the shadows (don't remember what he exactly said). It also makes him more sentient and intelligent compared to other animatronics since he knows about the cameras, and tries to hide from their view
@@cellva1682 I mean, yea, it gives that feel the first few times (first few deaths) before you just get frustrated and it goes from "oh no is that him?" to "why can't I bloody find him on these damn cameras?! Who installed these cameras?? How can I do my job when I can't see anything!"

This was pretty much the last game where the story was relatively easy to follow. It was a great way to wrap up the plot (y'know, before FNAF 4 happened), and revealing Springtrap as the Purple Guy was one of the biggest twists in gaming during that decade. The cuscene of him dying in the suit still gives me chills from a presentation standpoint. Its incredible how much emotion and atmosphere can be conveyed through Atari style graphics. Gameplay wise however, i do think that while the premise is interesting, this game ends up being the weakest entry in the series. Its way too easy.
As much as i love fnaf 4 - 6 from a gameplay and aesthetic standpoint, i have to say i kinda got a bit disappointed with the story from here on out (especially 4) i feel like it could've just stayed in this perfect position of being complex yet still followable but 4 and games after it just made following the story frustrating because there were just so many huge blank spots of lore that scott wanted the players to just somehow guess made me way less interested in the story from then on. Like once it starts making players who are interested in lore pissed off at its vagueness, its too far. Edit: also fnaf 3 is my favorite in the series gameplay wise, it didn't pride itself on cheap difficulty like the others in the franchise and actually had a logical learning curve. The amount of genuine anxiety playing fnaf 3 for the first time has never been replicated in a single other fnaf game for me.
@@swimsvg1855 I think the story should have ended at pizzeria simulator tbh. The story, while complicated, could be understood and Henrys call at the end of the game was an amazing ending to the franchise. I think UC was a fun thing and I have no gripes with it, its not lore packed and that's a good thing, at that point Scott made is seem like the story ended at PS and UC was just a thing for players to test their skills. But then VR and the fucking Vanny story line. Vanny did not need to exist, nor did security breach. SB is the weakest game in FNAF, and it completely negates the impact that PS had. God, I hate the Vanny story line and SB so much I swear.
@@ii_caelus_ii im perfectly fine with the story continuing till fnaf 6 but my main problem is the way the story was told and what parts of it we got at the rate that we did. With fnaf 4 he almost just made everyone in the entire fandom frustrated with giving us very little of whats actually happening in the story while simultaneously making it way more confusing with the nightmare animatronics and the fredbear plushie, not to mention those story beats were never really fully explained well even to this day which is really disappointing. I love the way fnaf 6 tied up the whole story its just that i wish the journey to getting there wasn't so annoying. Edit: also yes i agree with you that the steel wool story arc is absolutely pitiful compared to scotts story and actually ruins the story scott wrote quite a bit.
@@ii_caelus_ii Help wanted lore was supposed to be a sort of soft reset for the games to set up for new stories and characters, the way pizzarea simulator ended the story was amazing, but I can't lie that the idea of an afton cult being created from some sort of computer virus was a bit intriguing. SB just did the whole story so poorly, vanny was incredibly disappointing and the game was, lackluster.
I really enjoyed the story up until Special Delivery and Help Wanted. I don't really like where it's going, and Security Breach was so unbelievably underwhelming. I especially hate how they decannonize FNaF 1-UCN. FNaF3 was a great end to the series story wise, but not gameplay wise. I'm glad that the series continued because FNaF 4 and Sister Location are amazing games; however, the story is not nearly as good. It's muddled, and not in an interesting way.
FNAF 3 is the coolest fucking game in the whole franchise, the ambience sounds, the main menu theme, the design of springtrap. The fact that the killer we've been looking for all this time is right infront of us. It's also the one that scared me the most as a kid :)
im gonna be honest: aside from FNAF 1 and 2, Pizzeria Simulator is horrifying. The light RNG elements make it pretty fucking tense, and the concept behind managing your noise and shit while completing your tasks leaves me on the edge of my seat.
Out of the franchise, FNaF 2 and 3 is my favorite because in fnaf 2 the chaos the game gives is crazy, you need to flash the hallway, watch the music box, and mask, walk your dog, eat dinner, doing sets all at once, while fnaf 3 is like you just need to monitor where springtrap is and lure him away from you, but the atmosphere on 3 is like the first fnaf which is awesome

I know this game is old, and the voice of BB is supposed to "lure" Springtrap since y'know he went after children and junk. But it is an interesting point about him moving if it's in the same room. I'm sure it's been said before, but I imagine it's because he realized there's *no child in the room* that you hit, and he's like, "Screw you. There's no child here. You liar." And thus? He moves.
I always thought it was the suit moving without Springtrap wanting it to, in the phone guy tapes he says that they are programmed to move towards sound when the springlocks are closed, also we know that Afton is still a regular guy that’s probably not gonna fall for the whole “go towards the sound” kinda thing
@@agentmissouri2623 I’m just basing it off of what the training phone guy tape things said “when the suit is in animatronic mode it will automatically walk towards sound” and since the spring suit isn’t meant to be shut with a person inside it’s technically in animatronic mode but with Afton inside, that’s why he is basically a walking corpse that can’t escape the suit. One of the more subtle things I love about this game is how, if you're playing it blind for the first time, you hear the training tape briefly mention that the animatronics are programmed to go towards sound, and so your first thought is "ah, that's the explanation for the audio mechanic"
But then you get to the springlock death cutscene, and it hits you that Springtrap isn't following the noise of a child because he's an animatronic programmed to do so-
*He's following the noise of a child because he's a man who has killed them before.*
Now THIS is a spicy theory I love to think about
T H I S. The revelation that the reason his movements are so different from the other animatromos and the way he STARES you down is because he is Hunting you. Goddamn.
ALSO: springtrap responds to BB's audio, which laughs and says "hello" like a CHILD. fnaf is so fucking deep i love it
actually, Afton isn't going towards the sound of the child. He knows you're trying to trick him, the suit itself is programmed to go towards the sound of children
i think william is smart enough to notice you’re just luring him away from you, i’m convinced it’s a thing of william fighting the suit’s programming, he knows you’re in the office but spring bonnie is programmed to go where children are.
i will ALWAYS love how Springtrap just casually saunters into the room like "Heyyy buddy you got any gum?"
or hey um whats the wifi password.
You want pen1s enlargement pills?
I would say that it makes sense because he's a calculating serial killer and nit a tortured little kid. But the existence of fnaf 4 was mainly because scott agreed the jumpscare was unsatisfying, so it's not like it's intentional lol
@@N.I.A23 Yes, the reason why Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy flail about and scream is because:
1) they are tortured souls of children who don't know how to kill (maybe don't even understand the concept of death) and/or

IKR😭✨
He's had enough of Mark's shit
Fnaf vr is a very different beast
Lol I remember that episode
Which one?
*Tricked by BB laughing for 6 nights*
@@salt_factory7566 he's not tricked by BB, it's the programming in the animatronic part of the suit kicking in and forcing him to walk towards the sound.
@@salt_factory7566 animatronics are programmed to entertain children, so when they hear a child's noise they immediately go there to entertain them. Since William is locked in a suit, he is forced to go there wanting or not.
And after eons of pure physical and psychological torment, he will relish what time he does have to kill
I mean Springtrap is William Afton possessing a Bonnie suit. He is the psychopathic murder

It's called bitrate. Basically TH-cam will dynamically lower the video's quality the faster that pixels need to be updated. They do this to alleviate the amount of bandwidth it takes to stream the video. Confetti is notorious for killing bitrate, and the death static in FNAF is much the same.

Yes
… for one its Lore… and 2 Game mechanics and Lore are 2 complete different things. By far arent even relevant to eachother
Well said. He also can be seen moving around when he's close to you, compared to the basic inhuman robots that always just stay still
Nice essay
Mark: "this is oddly more stressful than I remember"
Also Mark: *uses the audio feature to lure Springtrap CLOSER to his office* 31:37
Honestly I find 3 to be the scariest due to 2 primary factors:
1. Atmosphere, its just such a creepy unnerving environment.
2. The lack of doors/mask with one and 2 you have this easy "safety button" that will protect you from most harm you can't use it forever but it gives you at least a brief moment of safety but in the 3rd you just have to try and lure him away which doesn't give you a sure fire safety there is still nothing stopping him from strolling in and killing you
And there’s an illusion of Springtrap that can appear in your window even though Springtrap is no where near you making you terrified

@@jynxezoir370 You actually needed to use more than just one of them.

Everyone hate? Weeell not me, love this game and i love Spring☺

I li:e Scruffy's content! I particularly like the Splatoon "Now or Never" and his Wii Tanks videos. His pikmin video is p cool, too :)
@Purple Emerald lol if you let them become a distraction the noises can cause the audio to fail.
This sounds perfect for some creepy pasta stories!
Well him going to the sound is because the suit wants to and makes him, he's evil not stupid.
springtrap follows the audio because his suit stops him from going anywhere training tapes literally explain this in the tapes phone guy says that that springlock suits while in animatronic mode they follow sounds so this is basically what happens purple guy wants go somewhere but his suit is in animatronic mode so he cant resist the suit and follows the ballon boy sound cue
@@Kjf365 no?

I always loved how un scary springtraps jumpscare is. It's his smart thinking and the fact that he stares at you for awhile then he gets you.
Well because he’s human and he is the main villain/serial killer. He actually knows how to hide and mess with you
So much static

I feel like this game is so underrated it has my favourite gameplay
@@elvinnguyen8854 FNAF 4 was my favorite for just being so mind numbingly scary, but FNAF 3 was pretty dope.
im gonna be honest: aside from FNAF 1 and 2, Pizzeria Simulator is horrifying. The light RNG elements make it pretty fucking tense, and the concept behind managing your noise and shit while completing your tasks leaves me on the edge of my seat.
The part that scared me as a kid was the secret screens
Out of the franchise, FNaF 2 and 3 is my favorite because in fnaf 2 the chaos the game gives is crazy, you need to flash the hallway, watch the music box, and mask, walk your dog, eat dinner, doing sets all at once, while fnaf 3 is like you just need to monitor where springtrap is and lure him away from you, but the atmosphere on 3 is like the first fnaf which is awesome
I love how whenever there's static on screen Markiplier's facecam quality shits itself

Mark: "keeping Springtrap in one room is cheesy and boring, and anyone who does that isn't playing the game right"
Also Mark: [beat most of FNaF 3 doing just that]
Yeah he says "cheesing it doing XYZ isnt fun"
... ...
So being good at a game and knowing how to play isnt fun?
Learning a game is fun in itself, but his logic is "once you know how to play a game, its boring to use what you learned"
I mean, cheesing the game makes it much less horror and much more mechanical, which can feel less engaging. I get where he's coming from.
@@wingponymedic2360 If sticking Springtrap in a room and just doing the same thing repeatedly is the right way to play, the game didn't turn out right and isn't fun.

Phone guy: PREVENT PEOPLE WHO MAKE OUT IN THE CORNER💀
@@ashtontaylor6497 the spring locks in the suit don't have a program, the animatronic did, the spring locks are there to keep it in place
And the suit has no animatronic inside, just the corpse of a man. The suit is just an outer shell
Again I may be wrong, this is just my headcannon that somewhat makes sense with what the phone guy says
@@ashtontaylor6497 this might be a bit nitpicky but the suit was somewhat meant to be worn but the spring locks weren't supposed to be unwound while a person was inside but I might be misinterpreting your comment
for people that still strugle to finish this game let me give u some tactics:
1st always try to keep him in cam 10 its the farest to ur office and always check the cam 10 and 9 to see if he is trying to run so whenever u see him in cam 9 play the sound in cam 10 ASAP before he goes to cam 8 if he goes to cam 8 play sound in cam 9 and then 10
2nd if u are gonna keep him in cam 10 u MUST seal the vent in cam 10 all the time keep it sealed in the beginning of the night and then check where springtrap is
3rd pls dont waste time watching stuff outside the cam keep ur eyes on the cam to check where he is going
4th u prob know this but avoid looking at the nightmares like balloon boy, mangle, freddy, foxy and most importantly puppet.puppet is the most annoying one he comes at night 4 and he just make u unable to do anything for around 10 secs so be careful
thanks for reading and good luck!
